ARCHPEDIA: Introduce Naming Rules

In humanoid cultures, especially humans, naming is considered important. Sometimes the name will indicate the status and origin of a person. In the cultures of countries that hold the majority of Hexatheist beliefs, there are rules that need to be considered in naming, namely;

- The number of words indicates the status.

name refers to self and family identity.

- Serves as prayer and blessing.

All countries that make Hexatheism a national religion or the majority are followers of Hexatheism, they will know there are standard rules in naming. The number of names depends on the status a person has.

- If the person is a commoner, then his name consists of a given name/forename (small name) and surname/Surname (last name).

- If the person is a noble, then his name consists of three names plus titles. Then the fomat is title (if any)_ Forename _Middle Name_ Surname. In Hexatheism, a middle name is a name that serves a religious purpose. It usually aims as a parent's prayer to the child or as a prayer from the descendants to their ancestors.

Giving a Name to an Adopted Child

In Hexatheism, if a child is adopted (in orphaned condition), the adoptive parent or godparent (Godfather) has the right to change the name of the child and even give him a new surname. But the new surname of the adopted child cannot be derived from the surname of the godfather. That's why every time a new surname is given to an adopted child, the name of the forename belonging to his godfather is used as a surname of the adopted child.

It aims to prevent adopted children from participating in the succession of the inheritance of the godfather's family. That is, if the godfather of the adopted child dies before the inheritance division of the godfather's parents, therefore, adopted children have no right to interfere in obtaining inheritance from parents or godfathers. But he was entitled to an inheritance from the personal property of his godfather.
