ARCHPEDIA: Introduce the Nobles

The Right Honourable the Lord ....

Skilas Disrupt:

Eh, sorry it seems I have not explained about the level of nobility yes .. ok I explained first, nobility is a high social class in feudal society (royal society/pre-modern) so in aristocratic society it was above commoners like the author. If the nobility were pure as the government of a feudalist state, they had privileges such as military power, land, titles, political influence, and assets. But they also had an obligation to be present when the king called, usually to join the war, the issue of succession to the throne, or take policy. If now most nobles (eg nobles in the archipelago) only as .. customary title doank and status nobility has no legal political power in the government arena.

Because I took a pre-modern life and it happened that the state of Artchania was feudal, so. .. There are several levels of nobility existing here (as follows the hierarchy in Europe).

1. King/Queen

This does not need to be explained again what is king/king. If you are lovers of fantasy literature and have never heard/read/or seen the name of the king is outrageous! Btw, a king-controlled territory is called a kingdom.

- Prince/princess

Ohh I forgot kelasin, prince is also a noble title lohh. The future king status commoners our cake. No way, huh?! Hmm...regardless of his position as crown prince or not, prince was a high-ranking noble. Sometimes there are some monarchies with princes/daughters who own the land. The name of the land controlled by Prince/princess is called Principality (Principleship), for example the Principality of Wales (UK). But in Artchania Kingdom, prince/princess does not have land rights yes .. so in this kingdom their position is ambiguous if dealing with upper nobles such as the count and above.

2. Duke/Duchess (Duke)

Have you ever heard of the Duke of Sussex or the Duke of Wellington? Well that is an example of a title that the duke (male) or duchess (female) has. The duke was the position of the highest noble of the other nobles. If other nobles are usually called 'Lord' regardless of the title, then the Duke/duchess is called as 'His/Her Royal Highness' so it's like calling 'Prince/princess' aja be. If the king has no heir, then the duke/duke can take the succession to the throne and become the next king.

There are also sometimes higher sub-duke titles, namely Grand Duke cake of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, and Archduke such as Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

The territory of a duke/duchess is called duchy (Duchy). The duke's territory was special because it was usually autonomous. Oh yes, I give the Holy Roman Empire as an example. In the country the influence of powerful dukes very lohh ....

3. Marquess/Marchioness

If this marquess is ideally filled with patriotic people. You see the reason why the Marquess has the highest level after the duke, because it is believed to guard the border. So, if you become marquess, you must first die for the land!

4. The Count/Countess/Earl

I had trouble translating this title to Indonesia, I had initially suspected the count was equivalent to a governor, uh apparently not guys, apparently the county can also be equivalent to the district. Lah loh's? How anyway? So I finally gave up translating. So, if for example sometimes I'm khilaf ngenyebutin district or province, consider it a county, okay!

Oh... count (male)/countess (female) in England is called earl. Coincidentally earl g has a female form so want to keep cwok/cwek called earl. The count/countess region is called the county (district/residency) while the earl region is referred to as the earldom. In Arthania Kingdom, I use the term count/countess, because I hear more often anyway.

5. Viscount/Viscountess

Well, I talked about the upper nobles, now we're talking about the lower ranked nobles. Waita! Nobles are also some lowly ones?! Oh yes donkk ... indeed all lords are great? Rich? The mapan? Have you seen Noragami or Kazuma? Well, that's where gods can make me owe, right? So it ... nobility makes no difference either. There were rich, medium, and poor but as poor as they were, at least they had a second-floor mansion. What are commons that only roofed with rumbia leaves.

Just like the count, I'm having trouble translating this title. Maybe I can do ama camat kali ya (?) Yahh ... essentially the viscount (male)/viscountess (female) region is called viscounty.

6. Baron/Baroness

Yakk ... author has a story, there is 1 class, which contains 30 students. Your children are the children of a mayor and students in that class are the children of investors, children of entrepreneurs, children of officials/councils, and children of civil servants. Who do you think is the safest you are to bully?

if you choose the last one, siip means you are classified as people who have been contaminated with kegoblokan (basis gaada akhlak anying, ngebully people). If you choose the earliest, siip you are the type of person who can not be contaminated education (brain donk cuy! cius wants to bully a conglomerate boy? The tycoon?)

Well so that's it guys, the baron was most often bullied by other nobles. You see he is the lowest (eh even if there is one more, later reported). Well if equated in Indonesia, maybe baron (male)/baroness (female) is equivalent to lurah or village head. You see, I often read tuh, if the baron is often said to be the same as other nobles as ndeso people. The name of the baron is called barony.

Eh all of this? not apparently! It turned out that besides the nobles on top of that there were still other nobles. Why not put in? Sometimes his position is not even recognized as a noble. Thus, in addition to owning land, military, titles, and wealth, the position of a noble was largely determined by his political position. Usually if it was a parliamentary monarchy, then there would be an institution that would be a place for the nobles to move their political maneuver. I give you an example, in the UK there is a high state institution known as the House of Lords. So maybe it is said like a council of his people, the only thing that is filled by the heads of the family (the head of the family is marked by those who have titles). Artchania Kingdom also has a House of Lords. If the name of the noble assembly in the Kingdom of Artchania is The Right Honourable the Lords Temporal of Arthania Kingdom in Parliament (The Noble Worldly Nobles of the Kingdom of Artchania in Parliament). But because of its extension, I usually give it the House of Lords doank.

So there, even barons have voting rights. But there is one type of nobleman who has no right to express an opinion in the House of Lords. They are para* baronet/baronetess.* The reason is simple, they have no army, no money, no land, and their titles can even be obtained by commoners. That is why they are sometimes neglected by other nobles. But from the perspective of a commoner, a baronet was still considered a noble. (This is also the case in Artchania Kingdom).
