HIGHWAY AND TOWER(2)

Two weeks later, after a long discussion with the internal people of each dynasty, the decision to build the Southeast Highway project was approved.

The Southeast Highway is an integrated highway development that connects major cities in five counties from Hadalon in Alexandreia to Haderborg in Morhust. With a length of about 500 km or equivalent to the distance from Berlin to Warsaw that will spend a budget of 500,000,000 gold coins[1].

The project will be a joint venture between the five counties of Alexandreia, Otilia, Yorksall, Fertiphile, and Morhust. With the highest ownership and largest capital participation will be held by Alexandreia who holds 40% share ownership of this project. Followed by Fertiphile and Morhust by 20% and the last is Otilia and Yorksall with each holding 10% share ownership.

It may be a little different from other dynasties who directly move the financial authority of their dynasties for something like this, but Alexandreia will be represented by Alexandreia Investment for business dealings like this. As for its development, Alexandreia Construct will be the main developer.  That's because it seems like all the other counties don't have their business subsidiaries. Even the very wealthy Morhust relied too much on the income of his mining and entertainment companies. His opinions become less diversified.

The manufacturing time itself may be 10 to 20 years depending on the technology used. Alex is currently working on using the most advanced magic technology to get the project to work as quickly as possible.

For that he must use the relationship he has. Fortunately, he knew who he had to ask for help.

Yup, for matters of magic technology, of course who else is much better than the Witch Union.

That's why Alex decided to make an appointment with the people from the witch guild. Fortunately, his relationship with the prime minister, who was a top official of the magician union, helped him in complicated administrative affairs. While Alex was busy preparing his departure plans in the capital, at the same time with a different place, Rain was currently busy in the barracks.

He was demonstrating the use of sword techniques to the new soldiers.

Three young soldiers Yeux, Egon, and Pierce, and two senior soldiers Edgod and Odward approach Rain.

"Why don't you guys practice?" ask Rain.

"Sir, we already know the basics of the sword being taught," replied Egon.

Rain looked at those people. He realized that they seemed to want to tell him something.

Rain crossed both his hands on his chest. Then asked in an indifferent tone to them.

"Sir, why don't you train us?"

Egon who represented these people asked seriously. These five people were the soldiers that Rain had previously brought when hunting orcs.

Their judgment suddenly changed when they saw Rain's ability to deal with orcs.

Perhaps Egon, Edgod, and Odward are unaware of Rain's true abilities. They only thought that Rain was capable of using the aura but to a former adventurer like Yeux, he realized that Rain was a duofons precisely a magic warrior. A very rare role.

But what Yeux didn't know was that it didn't seem like he was the only one who thought so. At least Pierce, the person who defeated him also thought that way.

"Don't I tell you, if you want to learn from me then watch what I do" Rain said.

"But ...."

It had been two weeks after they sincerely wanted to become Rain's disciple and it was during that time that they got what Rain did. But Rain these days has not done much at all.

In reality what the soldiers were going through was nothing compared to what Rain or Alven had experienced.

Before the Orion adventurers became teachers for Rain and Alven, their training was handled directly by Alex. Unfortunately Alex had only taught them the most basic techniques whether it was sword techniques and magic concepts, all of them were just a very trivial introduction.

As for the higher levels, the two people had to figure it out for themselves either by paying attention to Alex's actions or looking for him from other sources like books.

That's why their training became so slow and seemed to be a waste of time. But there was a time when Rain realized the benefits of the training provided by Alex that he was not burdened by the conventional limitations of a technique or in other words he was not fanatical on one type of technique mere. He is also able to improvise his own sword technique which adapts to his way of fighting such as flowing the aura in the sword and at the same time releasing mana energy that hovers around his body. It can make him have a defense ability and a secondary attack ability through mana if needed. Even Barnard of the Orion Adventurer praised Rain's actions.

"I understand if the new soldiers still do not understand the culture of training in this barracks but you, why are you also following along?"

Rain asked Edgod and Odward, the two senior soldiers who had come to see him.

"Sorry, sir, we also want to be trained by you" Edgod said shyly.

It had to be admitted that these two people were just warriors who relied on his seniority but in reality the possibility of their sword ability was not much different from Egon or might be below Pierce.
