ALEXANDREIA(2)

One morning in the Barony of Alexandreia, located in a place known as the army barracks.

This barracks is a relic of the Ducoumont Dynasty. Because this building is still worth using, then its function as a barracks is still used.

Here it is gathering at least twenty to a hundred people. They were the village youths who were currently waiting for the recruitment of soldiers.

After the Ducoumont dynasty was destroyed, their entire military unit was automatically disbanded. As a result, many former Ducoumontese soldiers moved to other lords, and others decided to return to the village and become farmers.

So now when the new lord has come, as expected, no long time ago the recruits of the barony military unit are opened.

It is clearly welcomed with great enthusiasm by young people who are tired of the world of agriculture and animal husbandry.

There, two soldiers were examining the portfolios of the participants.

These two soldiers looked young as if they were newly graduated soldiers.

What was thought was not wrong because these two soldiers had recently graduated from the barracks. These two men were old friends of Alex's during his time in the barracks of Grain and Riven.

These two men voluntarily submitted their transfer submission forms from Fertiphile soldiers to Alexandreian soldiers. Most likely Alex who personally select the people he deserves accidentally found these two forms so they are now soldiers Barony of Alexandreia.

"Wow, do you believe we're in this position now?" grain suddenly said.

"Well, right. It's like a dream. Indeed our decision to follow him is not wrong" replied Riven.

"Well, right. All right, back to work!"

Even if it is seen by the naked eye that the actions of Grain and Riven are stupid because they have just changed the status of the county soldiers into barony soldiers who are lower status.

Justin was appointed as the Chief Servant of Alexandreia which kept him busy. This concerns not only his growing responsibilities but also how he organizes the schedule of tasks or shifts of other servants.

Justin also sometimes has to take care of much more complicated things that he never worked on such as arranging schedules for barons and even replacing barons in meetings.

Barony of Alexandreia is a new territory so it is not too famous that is why to make this area can be developed and developed, Justin must invite various groups, especially traders.

Moreover, almost all tasks except files requiring baron signatures were assigned to him.

While the barracks are full of recruits for the new military and the mansion is full of meeting activities, Alex is currently sitting on a large rock in a vast grassy field.

It is not too far from the center of the barony at least two kilometers away.

Right now he was sitting leisurely enjoying the cool breeze while watching Rain and Alven train.

These two people were currently trained by two adventurers from the Orion party

Rain was swinging his sword under Barnard's direction

While Alven is concentrating on mastering witchcraft under the guidance of Atlya.

When he arrives in Alexandreia, Alex personally asks Barnard and Alya to train Rain and Alven.

However Barnard hesitated especially when he heard Alex wanted him to train Rain with the ability to master mana and aura or in other words become a duofons[1].

Barnard has told Alex that very few people can become duofons like role magic warriors. However Alex does not hear and challenges Barnard to see for himself what his two subordinates, Rain in particular, can do.

Barnard who initially did not believe and only took the words of the young nobleman lightly. But what he now sees changes his view of Alex's judgment.

"Did you see it?" ask Barnard to Vyn.

"Yes! Didn't he just flow mana and aura in his sword" said Vyn, a spirit partner of Barnard.

Although very few but both Vyn and Barnard could see two different supernatural energies were revolving along the blade of the sword that Rain was currently wielding.

It was the mana and aura that had been successfully controlled.

Perhaps someone even the user of supernatural powers could not realize it but for Barnard who was the adventurer equivalent of the adamantite plate adventurer, the, he was able to tell the amount of mana flowing in the Rain sword was equivalent to the amount of aura he was channeling anyway.

"I think we just found a genius" Barnard murmured.

The bomb!

An explosive sound suddenly emerged from the direction Alven was practicing.

Everyone included seeing what happened.

There, Atlya and Alven went silent but the obvious area around Alven stood full of explosive marks and still had thin smoke.

While Alven himself looks a little dusty as if he had just been hit by an explosion.

Atlya who was originally still silent was now embarrassed after knowing everyone was staring at them.

"Anu ... It looks like Young Master Alexandreia has just used a level 1 spell, [Spark]," Alya said awkwardly.

"...."

[Spark] is a fire element level one magic. These attacks give off small blasts of fire and tend not to be too deadly.

Alex who saw all those developments from a distance only nodded in satisfaction.

Ought to. The people he chose were amazing.

Then Alex's focus was sidetracked when he saw a woman coming towards him.

That woman was Lilac, one of the members of the Orion adventurer party.

"Mr Alex, do you mind me sitting near you?" ask Lilac.

"No, sit down" Alex/replies/

Lilac jumped onto the large rock where Alex was sitting. He then sat down next to her and either intentionally or unintentionally but he sat very close to Alex.

"Mr Alex it seems like you're very considerate of your subordinates and your child."

Lilac's words referred to Rain and Alven who were currently being watched patiently by Alex.

That statement is not wrong. He did care about them but other than that, he went here to avoid the bustle in the mansion.

Alex just nodded his omen he agreed to Lilac's words.

Despite the bad feedback, Lilac still tried to open another conversation with Alex.

"Mr Alex if you don't mind, I'd like to ask. Among the many magic casters and warriors that exist, why did you choose us, the adventurers as teachers for your subordinates and your child?"

As far as Lilac knows, generally the nobles will use the services of the far side has privileges such as witches from the witch guild who give private lessons on witchcraft to the noble children or honorable knights who train techniques sword and aura mastery for the young nobles.

So when he heard Alex wanted to submit a quest to them to train Rain and Alven, he was a little wondering in his mind.

"Well .. maybe it was because of your performance during the fief war in Otilia so I thought it might not hurt to ask for your help, professional and experienced people to train Rain and Alven. At least I know you better than any other witch or knight out there" Alex said.

Although Alex's words are true, there are other reasons. Adventurers like Barnard were generally apathetic to politics and power. It even chose to stay away from him because to prevent him from getting dragged into unnecessary conflict. This is very different from knights or magicians who often interact with important people. In itself the knights and magicians had their own interests in elite groups such as nobles. That's why Alex thinks it's much safer to let Rain and Alven's secret be known to the Orion adventurers than it is to be known to the knights and witches of the witch guild.

Lilac suddenly took both of Alex's hands like a child playing.

"really?! Then thank you! Don't worry, I'll make sure they'll be able to master a tier 3 spell in less than a year!" lilac shouted cheerfully.

Although Alex does not really like sudden physical contact like this but because he currently still needs the help of adventurers, Alex becomes a little more patient.

He just answered politely.

"As guardian of Alven and lord of Rain, I thank you" Alex said.

Even though the two men stopped chatting but one of Alex's arms was unknowingly still held by Lilac. It lasted even until Alven and Rain's training was completed, until it returned to the mansion.
