ARCHDEUS

ARCHDEUS
HIGHWAY AND TOWER(3)

Ryana and her group were currently halfway through. If the time is right, they will reach the port city of Marenapol which is expected in the future. When the sky started to darken, the caravan finally stopped.

They decided to build a camp here. The bonfire began to turn on and the people who had finished hunting had returned.

They come while carrying deer to river fish their prey.

In addition, the bread and potatoes they had bought from the city they had previously passed through had also been prepared.

As an adventurer, both Fritz and Dennis had good cooking skills. It was not because of a hobby but because of a need that forced both of them to be able to cook.

The two men made grilled venison accompanied by a simple potato soup.

"It's a shame we're running out of cheese" Dennis said.

"We should have bought more when we were in town" exclaimed Fritz.

The two of them looked a little disappointed. But that feeling quickly disappeared after smelling the delicious aroma of their cooking.

Meanwhile, the paladins and Falcon teams who took part in this adventure were busy building tents that they would use as a resting place.

At least they had to build more than two big tents separating them by gender.

In this caravan six women were here including Ryana; Lacey; the head of the paladin team, Eliza Noves Honeywood; Lauriel Slovarch; vice-chairman of the falcon team, Camellia Anaira Hoverd, and Iona Margaret Swandom. While the others are men.

They set a night watch time where some would guard their camp while the rest would sleep. With the exception of Ryana and Lacey, there is rotation in this group regarding the time-sharing schedule.

Currently on guard are Eliza, Fritz, and Camellia.

Even though these two people had already spent time together in one caravan, in reality they were still not too familiar so tonight would only be silent without the chatter of the people on guard.

But of course, the silence of the night made everyone become bored so naturally the three people started chatting with each other.

Their conversations start from the most trivial topics to topics that are quite private.

"So Miss Hoverd, you and your team lost a very valuable colleague to a demon?" ask Eliza.

These three people were currently chatting regarding the evil forces especially the existence of undead and demonoids that became the universal enemies of all living beings.

"That's not entirely true but it's probably the most reasonable. Although the identity of the creature that killed Joseph is still unknown whether it belongs to the devil or not, but I still believe that he is a demon. Even if not, the creature was in the group responsible for attacking the undead. That's more than enough to prove that people who use the power of darkness are not good people" Camellia explained.

These three people were telling stories about their past when they fought against people who used the power of darkness. For Camellia, the night of the siege of the undead in Canadia was her first encounter with the forces of darkness and the endemic creatures of darkness called the undead.

While Fritz, an adventurer who was also at the siege of Canadia by the undead also told from his point of view. But unlike Camellia, Fritz's experience in dealing with undead is much more. At least as an adventurer, he must have visited areas filled with undead like ancient graves filled with skeletons but storing so many treasures, he said, up to dungeons that contain low levels of undead and demonoids.

For Eliza who was a paladin who gave up her soul and body to the teachings of the Hexatheism gods had no hatred towards the dark energy like mana. That is because in the teachings of hexatheism itself, dark mana is one of the proofs of the power of one of their gods named the God Cearael the Dark God. That was why it would not be surprising if there was a small group of priests capable of using curse magic and dark magic like a necromancer. But indeed for endemic creatures of darkness such as undead and demonoids, paladins and priests do have a sense of hatred for the creature.

In the teachings of hexatheism, the demons and undead were two existences that were cursed by the god Cearael himself for some reason that made the two beings only able to live through the dark mana and they would be hated by the entire living being.  But of course, it is nothing more than a mere fairy tale because in reality the creatures of darkness and undead are two examples of the creation of one archdeus named Sheol who is now incarnated into a human named Alex. Unfortunately, no mortal knows that.

In the end they continue to chat from their tragic life stories to all the most memorable events for everyone. The conversation continued until the guard time changed. I don't know who could have guessed that these three people became familiar with one another.

Marenapoli is one of the port cities of the Holy Commonwealth of Iberal. The city can be said to be very busy looking from their offshore trading volume especially when the Kingdom of Artchania closed the Canadia region which became the access to the ocean which made all the merchant ships that were originally going to be docked in Artchania decided to turn the steering wheel to several cities in neighboring countries, one of which was this city.

Ryana and Lacey decided to drive around just after they finished renting an inn.

Although not as crowded and luxurious as Arcentioch, the capital of Artchania but along the way they can see the activity of the traders who passed there. It seems like this city is indeed enough to show how advanced the economy of this country when compared to the Kingdom of Artchania.

Five-foot traders from different countries who have access to the Kaltic Gulf are seen lining up while selling unique items that are native to their area. Various accessories, jewelry, potions, and magic weapons can be seen neatly lined up on their sales mats.

Ryana and Lacey are quite interested in the beautiful jewelry there. In addition, as a priest, it is natural for them to also really like the various ingredients available. According to one of the existing herb sellers, the potions he sold were mostly artificial herbs of alchemy and priests. In addition, there are also potions made by magic casters from other classes such as shamans and necromancers that tend to be much rarer and more expensive of course.

"Hohoho .. welcome beautiful women, what are you looking for?"

The seller of the potion in front of him greeted the two people kindly. She was a friendly looking woman and was filled with gold jewelry on her body. It seemed like this fellow was quite wealthy even though he was only a street vendor.

Before Ryana and Lacey answered no, the salesman quickly offered them a strange potion. It was a small bottle containing a black potion and looked a small and thin bark inside.

"Are you guys looking for this? This is Yggrael Gin, a potion capable of keeping you young. This potion was made by the elves in the central region."

Yggrael Gin is a type of gin derived from small fragments or fragments of the rest of the Yggdrasil tree. According to the beliefs of the elves, the Yggdrasil tree is not only a world tree but one that brings so many benefits one of which makes a living creature that absorbs its power will be ageless. That was why the elves had faces that remained firm and beautiful despite their age of hundreds of years.

"Hahaha .. no thanks, we just looked around" Ryana and Lacey said shyly.

"really? If you drink this, you do not have to worry about dull faces, blackheads, and so on. Even your skin will be as bright and supple as baby skin,. Or what if it's like this, if you buy two, I'll give you one Yggrael Gin for free" the merchant said excitedly.

"How much?" ask the two men with enthusiasm.
