Arcentioch, Capital of the Kingdom of Artchania

Southernpater Palace, often known as the southern palace. One of the three main buildings besides St. Castelius' Pontheum and the Parteric palace where the king of Artchania reigned. The palace has the widest courtyard and auditorium in the entire country. This is not without reason. Southernpater Palace which means 'father's palace of the south' functioned as a meeting place of institutions of spiritual and temporal power in Artchania Kingdom. This is where lawmakers from the House of Lords and House of Spiritual meet.

In the constitution of Artchania or better known as the Charter of Arcentioch mentions three separate powers expressly namely the power of the Monarchy, Aristocracy, and Theocracy.

Monarchic power is called the highest temporal power in the kingdom. This is symbolically indicated by the king's main palace, the Parteric Palace, as the largest palace in the entire country and is in the center of the capital.

Theocratic power is the power held by the religious institutions namely the Temple Authority of Hexatheism. De jure, this authority has authority in the realm of executive magistrates. But interestingly some of the periods that passed showed the willingness of theocratic authorities to try to withdraw in the executive sphere but simultaneously increase their influence in the judicial and legislative powers.

The last was the Aristocratic rule represented by the patriarchs of the noble families. This power upholds the value of the state constitution as a federal state constitutional monarchy that guarantees the rights of local nobles to remain in power in their respective territories.

In its history when this charter was formed, these three powers converged consisting of the king of Artchania as the monarchical power, Pontifex of St. Castelius Pontheum as Legatus Sri Maximus Pontifex embodied theocracy, and the nobles united by the two dukes, the Duke of Sandwealth and the Duke of Norchaster, as the voice of the aristocracy. Everyone gathered at the Southernpaten Palace to create a constitution.

For the umpteenth time the three elements regroup. Council of the nobles (House of Lords), Council of Religious (House of Spiritual), and the king of Artchania formed the supreme assembly known as The Right Honourable the Lords of Spiritual and Temporal of Artchania Kingdom in Parliament Assembled (House of Parliament).

In its structure, the House of Parliament was led by the king of Artchania. That is why the king of Artchania has the title of princeps senatus in parliament. For the position of representative is proportionally distributed to the House of Lords and the House of Spiritual. Each has two seats.

From the side of the House of Lord, of course it is common knowledge that the position of vice-chairman of the trial must be filled by the nobility with the highest title. That was why the two vice chairs of the House of Lords ration were filled by the Duke of Sandwealth and the Duke of Norchaster.

While from the side of the House of Spiritual, one seat is held by the Pontifex while the other seat is filled by a high priest with the permission of the pontifex of course.

In the courtyard of the Southernpaten palace has been filled by various luxurious horse carriages of all shades and sizes. This shows that although the current monarch has significantly weakened political power, the decree he issued still has the power to summon the entire patriarch of the noble family. Or maybe these nobles were present because they were just tired of fighting each other?

While the subordinates were busy tying up the horses so as not to run around, inside the board room the entire head of the family or representatives had been present. In addition to the nobles who wore their luxurious and eccentric clothes, there were also a group of people who wore quite stuffy robes. They were the priests present. If the nobles present were the heads of the baron-level families upwards, then, so the priests present here are priests or high priests who are temple heads with presbhenon and presbheum status.

Different from the priests who tend to gather in one group, the nobles who gather consist of several small groups. These groups are proof that there is a political coalition between nobles. It shows how polarized they are.

Among those noble groups, the group currently led by the trio-marquesses had the most number of followers. There were at least six great nobles in the coalition of marquesses. The marquesses included the Marquess of Canadia, Marquess of Hornwall, Marquess of Whitesburg, Count of Westwealth, Count of Shiftervoice, and Count of Godnessvoice.

The second largest group is the Duke of Norchaster. This political coalition was de facto led by the Duke of Norchaster. Among them are the Count of Bluemon, the Count of Artheven, the Count of Great Manest, and the Count of Hildalion.

It is not without reason. The accumulation of problems faced by this coalition such as the fier war in the County of Otilia and the point of war between the Kingdom of Artchania and the Kingdom of Ibeltia centered on the Duchy of Sandwealth had greatly disrupted the focus of the nobles locale.

Philip Enrique Marchleon, the count of Otilia, was one of the men in the group.

"My Lord, what about the others? Why have the other great nobles not come yet?"

Next to him, the Count of Yorksall asked worriedly.

These two nobles came from two regions that had been the victims of the fief war. With the meeting held by the House of Parliament they can at least win the war politically even though on the ground they have lost.

"I don't know, My lord. The other lords should have gotten here."

Other than those two great nobles the low-level nobles of the viscount level down were also there. They were the lower nobles who were politically subordinate to Yorksall. Unfortunately other than Yorksall, the patriarchs of the lower nobility of Otilia were not present. This was probably the effect of Otilia still fighting with Canadia so that the subordinate nobles were still in their territory to fight.

"Lord Otilia, this is so bad, what if other nobles think that the coalition is very fragile?"

Before Philip answered, a group of people came to them. This is a group of young people who have just grown up.

"Good morning Lord Otilia and Lord Yorksall. I am the eldest son of Lord Sinteny and became the representative of my family with the patriarch's permission."

Due to the war raging between the Kingdom of Artchania and the Kingdom of Ibeltia in the Duchy of Sandwealth, several great noble family heads are now in the duchy. As a result, when the call of the king's decree to convene was announced, the heads of the family who were currently in the war zone in the name of feudal aid also sent their children as representatives of the dynasty.

Philip and the noble son of Sinteny were just greeting with a glance. Due to the age gap that was too far and it seemed that the son of the lord of Sinteny did not really understand the discussion discussed by Philip and the Lord of Yorksall caused him to just sit quietly. While the lowly nobles just huddled around for no apparent reason.

Not long after, then another group entered the meeting place. This time, however, there was more. At least some of the viscountes and baronesses that entered the swarm should be from two to three counties.

The allegation is not wrong because the group that just entered was led by two young people namely Alex and Regis.
