THE INTERMISSION VOLUME 3

In one of the countries that has the top rank as public enemy is being held a historic moment. The country was none other than the United Kingdom of Evilten or the United Kingdom of Evilten, it is a monarchy currently ruled by a ruler who holds the title of Archlord or The King of Twelve Constellations of Abyss from United Kingdom of Evilten or often referred to as the Dark Lord. Unfortunately, the long-titled demon almost never showed its existence after the last holy war, so since then Evilten Kingdom has become a parliamentary kingdom led by twelve lords. The lords were each actually the leaders of the 12 states in the Evilten Kingdom.

The twelve rulers are now gathering in the meeting room of the main palace, the Entombment. The lords came from different types of demonoids and undead, such as vampires, succubus, high demons, lich, and draugr. The lords were seated at a round table conference.

In making a decision, generally the lords must produce a unanimous vote or by following the majority vote. But the conditions were different if the Dark Lord intervened. When the Dark Lord had set something, then the decision was absolute and binding.

Right now the lords are discussing something.

They take a high enough topic, which is about international political and military conditions. The topic was first discussed by a white-haired vampire.

"The Great Jezantine Holy Kingdom and the Artemice Empire have again waged a holy war against us."

A Succubus who was seen wearing sexy clothes asked him.

"What about the other two empires?"

"The Gredonian Empire, the Iscarian Empire and the Eastern Empires have not taken action. But it's likely that the two human empires will soon be proclaiming the same thing" said the vampire.

"Mmm ..it was probably due to the conflict of those who wanted to become a superpower empire. Oh .. yes, I also heard that the Elvish Kingdom and the dwarf kingdom, Dwanorth, refused to participate" said the succubus.

One of the other 12 lords who was a horned high demon informed the other lords of his mind.

"It must be because they already knew that the war was just a secular war. But I'm sure that the Mancuria Empire and the Muramachi Empire will not declare war for now, because they are in conflict with the Avargian Union."

"The largest demihuman state, yes. We are currently at peace with them but that does not mean we do not take them into account" said the succubus.

"Yes, but it seems that we don't need to worry too much about the Iscarian Empire either. Because the leper must prefer to make peace," said the high demon.

"That does make sense, but it never hurts to be wary of them as well, because I'm sure the leper's age will definitely not be long. Even so, I still don't trust that person. The lords nodded in agreement. The vampire then opened a new conversation, namely about the condition of the government of the Great Jezantine Kingdom, their main enemy.

"From the information I have, the pontifex maximus has been at the council for several years. But until now no statement has been heard."

"Is it related to the establishment of new saints? It seems that in the central region of the continent a strange energy appeared like several tens of years ago that appeared suddenly," said a high demon.

"I don't think so. It was a council long before the appearance of the second energy occurred. The meeting of the pontifex was probably a response to the emergence of the first energy. Huh ... religious country is very difficult to understand," said the vampire.

After they discussed the matters of war, diplomacy, politics, economics, and social, suddenly one of the lords of the demonoid race said something.

"Second energy? What do you mean the same kind of energy from the energy sixteen years ago re-emerged?"

"I have reports from necromancers and astrologers that a few decades ago the undead and demon-summoned were experiencing energy instability, as well as astrological conditions and that is still the case."

But the demonoids were not afraid at all. He responded casually.

The other lords who also did not know the information were shocked. They begin to think about the possibilities.

"Is that a sign of the hero's return?" ask the succubus.

"Impossible?! Didn't sixteen years ago there was a similar hypothesis stating that a hero had descended?" ask the other lord.

"Damn it, if there are two hero parties being summoned, doesn't it mean that the humanoid nation and demihumans will get stronger?"

For the demonoid race, any nation not born from the power of darkness is an enemy. That was why either humanoids or demihumans were considered to be existences that had to be annihilated.

Generally every nation has a chosen people who have power beyond reason thanks to the grace of the gods.

Every nation has its own name for it.

Humanoid nations such as humans, elves, and dwarves call those people heroes or heroes.

Demihumans such as orcs, goblins, and beastmen called him the champion.

While demonoids such as vampires, demons, and undead call these existences as dark lords.

Despite all these different calls, the chosen people share one common characteristic: fighting for the safety of their respective nations.

Generally although demihumans and humanoids are hostile to each other, they will form a common alliance when fighting the demonoids. This means that it can be said that the demonoids are the most hated existence by all entities in the Laurentia Continent.

Two existences that supposedly had hero-equivalent powers had been born in the region of human countries.

This means that this is a real threat to the demonoids.

Inside the room, the lords who controlled the twelve states of the Evilten Kingdom that were often considered to be the embodiment of the Demon Realm in the World still shared information with each other. But no one was aware, in a room with a dark complexion, a figure was seen sitting on the throne. The figure was covered by a silhouette of darkness. However, among the darkness, a blood-red radiance was clearly emanating from his eyes.
