ARCHDEUS

ARCHDEUS
AMYGDALA(3)

An emergency meeting was held three days later.

The meeting discussed the existence of other creatures besides spirits that spread the plague. After his appearance through the image, no one else saw him after that.

In the meeting room in the command tent, the entire leader of each faction had been present.

There was a high priest who was the representative of the priest and paladin faction of the temple, an old witch named Warfoy who became the leader of the sorcerer union faction, a mythrill-level adventurer who became the head of the adventurer faction, some non-peerage nobles[1] were representatives of the noble houses participating in the mission, and some military higher-ups were representing the royal army.

In addition to the faction leaders, the division leaders were also summoned. At least the commander of the northern, southern, eastern, and western divisions had been here on Alex's orders.

They were all in one room under Alex's leadership.

Despite being on a line of command, it can be seen clearly in the eyes of everyone there is quite obvious competition. The reason was simple, this entire army was an army created all of a sudden. Normally to form a commando unit that leads more than 50,000 soldiers it takes a lot of time but because most of the soldiers from the kingdom and the people who are currently participating are soldiers who have previously participated in the war Ibeltia-Artchania, make the mobilization faster but that does not mean there is no problem. Due to its rapid formation, there is no sense of compactness in the corps due to short interaction and the absence of joint exercises. As a result all the soldiers were divided according to their respective institutions. Especially the warriors from the temples and sorcerer guilds who looked the least able to get along.

But in spite of all that, they are currently harboring dislike for each other and choose to listen to the words of Alex as the supreme commander in this corps.

"So what among you can give you advice on this?"

Alex asked calmly to everyone about the matter.

He also focused on the image that the magician guild had given him. Unfortunately, he did not know what kind of creature this was. Although Alex was an omniscient archdeus, he is now a human being. Moreover, what he saw was only the arms of the monster.

His arms are quite long and look thin .., thought Alex

While Alex was focusing on the picture, a top military officer from the royal faction gave his advice.

"My Lord, what if we leave this matter to the witches. They have the tools to detect everything around this region."

"I object. We also have limits on surveillance. As you can see, we are reporting this issue because we feel that our capabilities alone are not enough. Hadalon is a big city so we are very difficult to handle it ourselves" Warfoy said.

The military officer was immediately silent. But because his words made Alex also ask.

"Regarding the effort, if you can't find the creature through Eagle Sensing, have you already used the abilities of spiritual witches to use their spirits in exploring Hadalon?"

"Sorry My Lord, unfortunately the spiritual witches who are here are not as much as arcane witches. They also mostly have classes as summoners so they have a limited range in controlling their familiar. As for witches who have a shaman-like spirit, we have ordered them to use their partner spirit but the number is too small to comb the entire corner of the city" Warfoy said.

"It looks like the witches are still doing their deeds without notifying their commander. Do they not have a sense of responsibility that we are in the same corps unit?"

A Hight Priest who was the leader of the priest faction gave an offensive remark towards the witch guild. That was certainly answered by Warfoy.

"At least we handle things that we can handle ourselves and provide all the information needed for larger issues. Shouldn't the temple be ashamed of the actions of those who didn't even provide any information regarding the plague when they themselves were mandated as the institutions that dealt with the matter."

A feud between the temple and the witch guild happened but it was eventually stopped by Alex.

"Enough! You are now gathered to seek a common solution. If you want to argue and cause new problems, I suggest that you both go to court or parliament."

Although he was 16 years old, but Alex's body is much higher than children his age. Even his voice was so low that it made him have the image of a domineering man.

Not to mention if he takes into account his career. The higher-ups here realize that Alex is the one who came from the prime minister's recommendation. That is, he did have a very broad relationship with the aristocrats.

In essence they can not underestimate Alex even though he is very young.

"Let's continue. Mr Eraleon, do you have any suggestions for this matter?" alex asked with a sharp look.

"Yes, My Lord. I suggest we get into town immediately."

"Doubt! That's very risky! What if the soldiers contracted the disease?"

A military official expressed objections.

"Shut up! I still haven't asked for your opinion. Continue Mr. Eraleon," said Alex.

"Both Master. So we realize that this plague is spread by spirit. Call the name of the spirit as Plague then is there no guarantee if at any time the Plague out of Hadalon and began to spread the disease in the military camps?"

"...."

Everyone is silent. What Warfoy said was not wrong. There is no guarantee that the newly named Plague will remain in the city. What if it was true, the creature could also spread plague to the tents of the soldiers? It's really dangerous.

"That's why I suggest that at least we make battalions where each battalion is filled by priests to give their divine magic so that all soldiers can be protected from the plague."

"Hmm ... does anyone want to add to that?" ask Alex.

"Yes My Lord. As we make observations, this is also the right time to evacuate. As the witches said, they found that there were some survivors still trapped in the city. We have to save them. Even if they do contract the disease, we now know that it will not be transmitted except through a spirit called Plague."

The leader of the northern division gave his advice. He agreed with Warfoy.

"Hmm ... does anyone want to refute?" ask Alex.

No one raised their hand or wanted to give an opinion. Even the High Priest who was a rival of Warfoy was silent as well. Everyone nodded and assumed it was the perfect plan.

Alex who saw that there was no more debate at the meeting immediately gave the conclusion of the meeting results.

"So if you agree, we'll start drawing up an observation and evacuation plan. I hope each division also reports on their area and does the same if they are in a similar situation."

"Good My Lord!"  yell at everyone.
