Hadalon, Marc of Canadia
A small voice rang out from an old building that filled the silence of the night. It was like the sound of someone eating hard and dry bread. The building was originally a simple house but now the doors and windows have been destroyed. It was due to the commotion by the panicked community and began to commit robbery in mass. The cause is certainly caused by a disease that appears suddenly that causes the effects of food scarcity and legal obscurity.
"Sister, the bread is not good. Ella can't eat anymore."
A girl who was about 5 or 7 years old in shabby clothes and short hair was tangled cried sadly to a boy who was nearby. His clear eyes that were like the night sky let out sad tears. His thin little legs continued to tremble withstanding the coldness at night.
"Patience, Ella. I'll find better food. Eat your bread, otherwise you may get sick. Brother please."
The boy who was taller than the little girl named Bella admonished him gently. The boy was also not much different from Bella, maybe even worse. Her skin was adorned by dry, line-shaped wounds on her legs, arms, and a part of her cheeks could be clearly seen behind her pale skin. Her blond hair was now brown due to the dirt and dust that had accumulated.
"Hiks .. hiks ... Bella doesn't want to eat bread. Bella wants to eat porridge! Bella wants to porridge mother's cooking .. hiks .., hiks!"
Bella starts to cry as she recalls the memories of being with her mother. He misses the food that his mother makes every morning. But now he can no longer see his mother.
"Bella, don't cry. Hikss .. hiks ... Don't cry."
The boy hugged Bella. He hugged her tightly. Both of them were crying for their previous lives. They long for a warm home with the smiles of both their bright parents.
"Dad, mom, where are you? Bella misses dad. Bella misses mom. Bella promised to be a good boy. Bella won't wet the bed anymore. hiks .. hiks ...."
"Sister misses them too. "
The two continued to cry. Both are children who need adult attention. Now they have to try to live independently. It all started when the strange disease appeared. Both parents were affected by the disease and slowly their health dropped dramatically until finally both died.
It is not just their home. All of their neighbors' houses experienced the same thing. Many died from the disease and the children who were not affected by the disease eventually died hungry or sick because no one took care of them. While people who are still healthy immediately go from the settlement to another place either to another settlement or run from the city.
They lived in a dense settlement filled with old and semi-permanent buildings. The settlement was a dirty slum with many narrow alleys that could not be entered by sunlight because they were blocked by surrounding buildings.
The father of the two children was a manual laborer in the market. He worked every day to carry the merchandise of the merchants. While their mother was a laborer in a garment factory.
They had originally lived a hard life but now it was getting harder because of the deaths of their parents.
kresek .. kresek ....
Suddenly a strange voice sounded from outside. The boy noticed it and immediately stopped crying and quickly shut Bella's mouth.
"Be quiet, don't be noisy" the boy whispered.
Bella. Although still a child but because she lives in a harsh environment, Bella sometimes becomes very sensitive to the surrounding environment. Especially at this moment she could see her brother was very nervous.
From behind doors and windows that can no longer be closed, both can see the darkness of the night. But they knew something was approaching. They could hear him getting louder as if getting closer to them.
"!"
The boy saw a strange creature. Although it was dark at this time but thanks to the dim moonlight, the two children could see the form of the creature. With a thin body, it was like skin that only wrapped bones. But what was surprising was the foot he had. The creature walked on four legs with each foot being two meters long while its body was probably only 1 meter long. The creature had a large head that was oddly shaped. It has no eyes but all over its head has holes like the motif of a beehive. The creature's skin is pale white like the skin of a corpse and there are traces of stitches all over his body.
The boy slowly began to move away from the door. He with his sister in his arms moved slowly towards their room.
The distance is not too far it only takes a few small steps. The two held their breaths to not make a fuss. Although this is the first time they have seen the creature, it is a dangerous creature.
Unfortunately the moonlight could not penetrate the entire room in the house. As a result the boy did not that he had just stepped on the bread crumbs that were on the floor.
The sound was loud enough to be heard by the creature.
The creature soon realized the whereabouts of the two children.
Quickly the boy immediately ran into his room and locked it.
"RAAARRR!!"
The creature tried to enter the house. Although his body is small but he has long legs that make it difficult for him to enter.
He eventually tried to enlarge the door hole by destroying the wooden wall.
Although the creature's legs look thin, it turns out he has a lot of strength. It didn't take long for him to break the door.
The two children could hear the sound of crushed wood. They hugged and cried in fear.
Both could hear the creature had entered the house. The second heart rate is getting faster. Their bodies shiver with fear. Cold sweat washed their bodies. They're so scared. This is not a problem that two young children can face
Then ...
*booms
They could see the creepy creature with its well-arranged saw teeth in its mouth.
"Mother!"
They both cried while calling their mother. From the events of the two children's despair, both of them could hear someone from outside shouting.
"It's there! We found him."
A little less than a second after that shout, a burst of flames suddenly appeared and hit the monster's body.

As usual, Warfoy was in his tent. It was two days after Hadalon's exploration and evacuation operations were put in place. Even though it was late at night, Warfoy still seemed busy reading various documents. His forehead was always furrowed as he read the death statistics in Hadalon City.
"Haahh ... the number of infected has decreased, but the number of people killed continues to grow."
Warfoy leaned limp in his chair. He felt an inner pressure whenever reports regarding the number of deaths in this city.
"As I thought. In the end they died for being abandoned by their own government."
Warfoy knows. Today the number of strange diseases has decreased but the death rate continues to increase. The cause is none other than the problems arising from the isolation of the city, namely the problem of hunger and health. At present, Hadalon City is experiencing a food crisis and the absence of public health services causes other diseases to appear.
Every night, Warfoy makes letters. The letter he made was to be given to the captains of the magician guilds who were in the divisions that had been formed during the city's isolation mission put in place. Surely he sent it without the knowledge of any party, because this is a secret that must be kept for the benefit of the witch guild. If anyone finds out or leaks it, then the witches of the sorcerer guild are not reluctant to kill them and stamp the offender as a traitor.
Warfoy picked up a piece of paper and a pen. He began writing letters as usual. This time he wrote a letter to the Norchaster Capital of Arcentioch.
"Sir, let's report."
The voice of his men stopped his hand from writing. The guy was a little firmer and faster than usual. He felt that the person who spoke was in a hurry.
"Come in."
Once Warfoy allowed it, that person immediately went in. She was a beautiful witch and became one of Warfoy's assistants. Usually she would appear elegant and beautiful, but this time her face was full of fear and sweat that soaked her face and body.
"Master!"
The female witch was too panicked that she could not give her report. Warfoy told him to calm down first and take a breath. After the receptionist relaxed a little more, Warfoy asked.
"What's wrong? What do you want to report."
"Rpa ... Mr. Baron wants to meet you."
"Baron? Didn't we just meet yesterday? What does he want to talk about? ."
"I don't know sir but he also called the entire head of the faction and the division representatives to his tent."
"What?!"
Warfoy stood up. This has never happened. Usually to make a large meeting like this should be planned for days. So what is currently going on is the establishment of an emergency meeting.
Warfoy quickly got ready. He wore all his equipment and also cleaned his face. He is followed by his assistant immediately on horseback to Alex's tent.
Arriving there, Warfoy was shocked when he saw the atmosphere of this room. It seemed like everyone was present except him. It means only he is late.
But something strange is that they look moody, Warfoy can not think of a single answer.
Politely, Warfoy greeted everyone there and the floor apologized for the delay.
Warfoy put on a business smile. It should not, however, show hostility to the nobility. But what he got was not as expected.
"You! What have you been doing all this time?!"
Alex shouted with a look of anger. Warfoy did not know why Alex was still angry when he had apologized before.
"Sorry sir, what if what do I do to make you angry?" warfoy said he kept his business smile.
Alex's emotions didn't subside. But he knew, it seemed like Warfoy as the leader of the magician union faction had not received news. He decided to tell Warfoy everything.
"You don't know? Right now the city is being attacked by a group of undead."
"What?!"
