The His Holiness ....
That was the cave udh made clear about the Nobles Society, right? Well, now the cave will be clear about the largest religious alliance on the Continent of Laurentia, namely The Holy Templar of Pontificia.
The Holy Templar of Pontificia is a religious organization that leads the congregation of adherents of the Hexatheism Belief brought by the Apostle Pallas Avigneus. It is the largest multinational organization in the world, having a congregation of 55% of the human population. Pantificia was a Guild of 400 Great Temples and 9 Skismatic Shrine Memberships spread throughout the territory of the Laurentian continent, except for the demon countries, elves, dark elves, dwarves, beastmen, and several human countries.
The Schismatic Temples are a temple community consisting of 6 Saintika Temples, 1 Hexar Temple, 1 Iberal Guild Temple, and 1 Yang Esa Temple (Central Temple) in the Sacrorum. Schismatic temples are considered as a single entity (not under the other temples) so that the practice can provide pendalilan, initiation, even to pengafiran. In the Congress of the Sacrorum, the votes of the Schismatic Temples had a higher weight than the votes of the Great Temple. So that in the congress, eight of the nine Schismatic Temples will sit in the chair of the vice chairman and the head of the Temple of the One will sit as the chairman of the congress.
The heads of the Schismatic Temples had a higher title than the Pontifex of the Great Temple. The heads of the Temple of Saintica and Hexar except the head of the Temple of the One are referred to as the Rex Pontifex. The Head of the Temple of the One is called the Pontifex Maximus.
The Pontifex Maximus was elected by deliberation at the Sacrorum Congress and has no term limit, unless he dies or resigns.
Structurally, the Pantificia consists of:
1. The Pontifex Maximus
Pontifex Maximus with honorary calls the His Holiness, the Holy Godfather, the Voice of Apostolic and Prophetic, and the Right Eminence the Spiritual Overlord.
Pontifex Maximus is the head of the Temple of the One, Saint Pallas Avigneus' Parthenon. The designation for the Temple of the One/Main Temple is the Parthenon, while below it is the Great Temple/Saintika Temple/Hexar Templar Temple called Pontheum. In addition to being the head of the Yang Esa Temple, the Pontifex Maximus will also automatically become the leader of The Holy Templar of Pontificia, the Supreme General of the Hexar Templar Order, the Chairman of the Sacrorum Congress, and the ruler of the Great Yizantin Theocracy States.
The election, appointment, or impeachment of a Pontifex Maximus is determined through the Sacrarum Congress. This Congress contains all the Chiefs of the Great Temple and the Schismatic Temple who are members of Pontificia. Usually when the election, the congress will be temporarily led by the oldest pontifex in attendance. Then when the new pontifex maximus has been elected, the pontifex maximus will automatically become the leader of the congress.
The Pontifex Maximus has no term. So unless he commits an extraordinary crime (apostacy/genocide/heresy) then he will remain a pontifex maximus for life or until resigning. That is why, Pontifex Maximus is the number 1 man in the world, even his appeal is far more influential than the emperors though.
2. Rex Pontifex
Rex Pontifex is the head of the Schismatic temples (Pontheum) except for the Temple of the One (Parthenon). The Pontifex Rex is structurally higher than the pontifex but has a lower level than the Pontifex Maximus.
Everything in the election, succession (Institution), up to the impeachment of a Rex Pontifex was within the full authority of their own Pontheum. Even a Pontifex Maximus cannot interfere with the internal decisions of the Schismatic Temple. So that each Rex Pontifex from various Temple of Saintika and Temple of Hexar certainly has its own way of selection.
In the Sacrarum Congress, Rex Pontifex's position was as vice chairman. They also had a stronger voice than the great temple leader.
Pontifex is the leader of the Great Temple (Pontheum). They were elected on the authority of the Pontifex Maximus. In the Sacrarum Congress, their position was that of a congressman. They have the right of voice and protection guaranteed by the temple organization. In taking care of the affairs of the temple, Pontifex is always assisted by the High Priest.
3. High Priest (High Priest)
It is the position of the local religious head in the Hexatheism faith. The High Priest led a temple called the Presbhenon.
Presbhenon had administrative status under Pontheum. If aligned with the feudal hierarchy, the High Priest can be equated with a count or marquess, so that Pontheum is an administrative region equivalent to a county or march.
Despite not having a say in the Sacrorum Congress, a High Priest was still highly respected, as he only needed one more step to become a Pontifex.
Selection, appointment, until the decline of a high priest is done by a pontifex. The High Priest does not have to be a Presbhenon chief, usually the young High Priest will help Pontifex in his work.
4. Priest
It is the position of the head of religion in a temple. They usually preside over religious ceremonies on a rural level. Priests are often considered teachers because they will usually provide free education to children.
Priest Hexatheism presided over a temple called Presbheum. The presbheum-level temple was the lowest-level temple in the Pontificia Organization. Most Presbheum is located in the countryside.
The selection, appointment, and dismissal of a priest is done by a high priest. As with the High Priest, the priest position also does not have to be the head of the Presbheum but can also be the one who helps the High Priest.
5. Concave
Serkon are monks/nuns who help every process of religious activities. They are not a degree administrative position, but rather a group. Serkon is arguably the young priests (hierarchically, not age).
6. Discimation
Discimpion is a group of agawamawan/ti that can be interpreted as students. They are still in the educational stage of becoming a true religious/ti. Neither the discimpion nor the serkon were under the guidance of the priests.
