Along the way, dozens of houses were burned. The fire squirms and flares like it is feasting on joy over human suffering. Hundreds of people ran away from their homes. Everyone went to the streets, trying to find a safe place. They did it not out of panic because their house was on fire, but more than that. They panic over an attack from an undead known as the amygdala.
The citizens who initially came out of their hiding because they knew there was an evacuation carried out by the state no longer care about property and other people. Even the children had to save themselves. The amygdala attacked humans, both on the street and in their homes. As a result, panic ensued. The house was on fire and dozens of bodies were scattered.
"Mother!!"
A child cries for the passing of his mother. Previously, in order to protect the child, the mother willingly offered herself as dinner for the amygdala. He did it just to give his son time to escape.
"Let'soo!!"
The people are panicking. They saw a 3-meter-long amygdala emerge from the roof of one of the houses. The amygdala jumped into the crowd. He slams, shreds, bites, stabs, cuts, stomps, everyone around him.
"Run! Run!"
Everyone is screaming. They try to run with all their might. Black death disease disaster is not over, isolation to the city adds to the burden of life, now the undead attack threatens their lives. What sins have they committed until they got all this.
"[Magic Arrow]!"
Three arrows of light appeared and attacked the amygdala. The attack was unable to kill him but was at least able to make him lose interest in the person running around.
Amygdala searched where the source of the attack came from. It turned out that the attack came from a group of 6 soldiers. They are units that are broken down to facilitate evacuation. Because at this time chemistry has not been formed between cross-fraction soldiers, the formation of units and other military units is formed based on the background of the soldier faction. Coincidentally this is a team unit this majority comes from the adventurer faction and 1 person from the temple faction which consists of various classes namely 1 thief, 1 cleric, 2 swordman, 1 mage (spellhowler), and others, and 1 archer.
Thief throws a bottle filled with powder at the amygdala. The green powder spread into the air. Then the thief once again threw something, but now he threw a kind of magic item that when destroyed would explode.
*boom!
Thanks to that green powder the explosion from the magic item that resembled a cylinder-shaped lighter was getting stronger. Amygdala who was within the blast radius was clearly hit by damage, but he was not injured.
Amygdala also replied. He dashed quickly towards the adventurers but he was immediately confronted by a swordman. The battle also happened. The swordman wholeheartedly accepted all the attacks of the amygdala. While the other swordmen attacked with their martial arts strength. Don't forget the archer and the mage gave a relief attack. Finally, the amygdala was defeated but he was not fully paralyzed.
Wanting to execute an execution attack, a dark object fell from the sky. The dark object landed in front of the amygdala thus canceling the adventurers' intention to give the undead a final attack. Now they focus on the dark object that fell from the sky earlier.
The object is moving, he is alive or rather he is a living being. The object turned out to be someone wearing a black veil and robe. His body was small like a child. When he opened his veil, his face that looked like a short-haired blonde girl surprised the adventurers. But the girl did not care about the surprise of the adventurers. He smiled wickedly and then he took out a pair of meat-cutting knives held by his hands.
He without further ado moved as fast as lightning.
*Slasshh ....
Less than a second the head of one of the swordmen butts.
"What?!"
All the adventurers were surprised. They're speechless. They were looking for where the girl was.
*Slashh ....
The victim is Archer. His body split into two. Then ....
Three people, a thief, swordman, and priest (cleric), died with their heads severed.
"Welloooooooooohhh!"
The mage shouted in fear. He is actually a novice adventurer who has just graduated from the state magic college called King Julius University located in the Capital of Arcentioch. The university was built by King Julius I and the only ones who could study there were nobles. But when King Prisoric V came to power, the father of the current king, King Theodore II, he allowed the commoners to study there until now. One of those who benefited from the openness and equality in the world of education was the mage who had just become this silver-plated adventurer. He actually majored in spelliology, resulting in a lack of experience and insight in combat. For information only, spelliology majors only discuss the problem of mantras that are mostly through theory or sitting in the classroom. The practice is mostly about lifestyle spells (everyday spells) used for living purposes. That's because graduates of this department are not focused on fighting but rather lead to education or the world of civil society work such as employees or magic researchers. The Spelliology Department is located in the Faculty of Arithmetic and Wizarding Sciences, while the faculty with the most suitable majors as witches living on the battlefield is the Faculty of Arkanomantic Sciences.
The strength between the girl and the gold-plated adventurers was too far away. All those adventurers died with a single strike. It is sad at once very unfortunate.

A few days ago, exactly the day after the decision to evacuate all the people in the city, Alex called all the Falcon team members to his tent. This is the first time Alex has called up a Falcon team since they were at the military post.
The soldier who was ordered to carry the message had returned and notified the arrival of the Falcon team.
After being welcomed in, the Falcon team led by Richard walked into Alex's tent. All of them were not wearing their combat equipment. Looks like they've trusted Alex or maybe it's more courtesy.
But regardless, Richard paid his respects to Alex who was followed by all of his members.
Although Richard could be said to be a senior noble and also a baronet with the title of sir, but he was hierarchically inferior to Alex who was a peerage noble. This was true for its members who were also just non-head nobles of the family, too,
"It's nice to meet you guys. How, do you guys enjoy staying here?"
"Yes my Lord. I thank you for accepting us to stay."
Currently all the Falcon team members were living in the camp of the Witch Union. So you could say the place does tend to be quieter than the camp owned by soldiers from the kingdom or nobles or even from the adventurer guild. At least they wouldn't hear the sound of the clashing of swords or the shouting sounds of the people who were training in the morning.
"I'm glad to hear it."
Alex finishes his bases and leads straight to the main conversation.
"I'm here to give you a task. Do you want to listen?"
Everyone's faces became tense. Honestly, Richard did not particularly like the mission the nobles had given them. That was because they were units of the Royal Majestic Guard unit which was a military unit that was directly under the command of the king. However, they also understood their current condition. They just hitchhiked and stayed thanks to the kindness of Alex the supreme commander in this mission. So Richard had to accept what Alex wanted to say.
"Don't tense up like that. I'm just asking you to help evacuate the people who are currently trapped in the city. You must be familiar enough with this city that it will provide tremendous help for this mission. Of course you will still be able to work as a team and I also know you are not just anyone. Yet I only want to offer you this mission but you have the right to refuse."
"The rest of you also know what is currently happening right? There are unidentified creatures there. I can only be relieved if strong people like you want to help my soldiers in there" Alex continued.
Richard did not answer. He slightly peeked at his men who were standing behind him. Some just nodded lightly while others winked at the agreed omen.
Richard answered with confidence.
"Of course, My Lord. We won't let you down."
