The Second Life's
XCV - Last Plan

Lucas sat next to me as the three of us were in the waiting room. Ava's favorite room. Isaac didn't come home, so I made tea for the three of us.

There was no conversation between us for a few minutes. All were deep in their thoughts, including myself who was currently reminiscing about Isla.

The first Ava to touch my tea, she drank up to half a cup of tea.

“Regarding your mana increase, I have an impromptu plan about Sienna,” Ava said. “We can attack Silver Palace directly. Sienna won't get her power back in no time.”

“Isn't that an action that is too inviting for everyone's attention?” I kind of object to that.

“Indeed that's what we need. I have also thought of ways to increase your existence in Vanhoiren with this action. You will definitely receive a lot of sympathy from your stupid people,” said Ava, half insinuating Vanhoiren who he did not like.

“Help not to endanger your lives,” Lucas said.

Ava laughed out loud. “Whose am I, until the King says such a shameful thing? If not for Charlotte's position, I would have already destroyed that Silver Palace without leaving anything behind.”

“I'm just trying to remind you, Grandma,” Lucas said. He glanced at me for a moment. “I also don't want Charlotte in danger.”

“Yes, at the end of the day the King is still Charlotte's love slave. I understand, King,” Ava quipped. “And don't call me grandma!”

I can only smile and be calm. “I appreciate it, Lucas. I'll be fine with Ava.”

“Yes, he'll be fine with me. The King does not need to worry and just focus on the task of the King,” added Ava.

“You reminded me of that again. I want to rest all day as well. I'm not a workaholic like you,” Lucas said.

Ava stood up and shook her hands. “Have it, just enjoy the time you two. I want to prepare something for Charlotte. Before returning to Vanhoiren, stop by my workspace.”

“Good, Ava,” I told him.

Ava then walked out of the waiting room, leaving me alone with Lucas. We looked at each other for a few seconds, before Lucas finally came to me first and pulled me into his arms.

I returned Lucas' embrace of missing him for a long time. It's the warmth I've needed the last few weeks. It felt as if my entire burden had been lifted in a moment.

When Lucas started patting my head, I closed my eyes as I felt pampered by him. I unconsciously smiled happily.

“How are you doing in Vanhoiren?” asked Lucas, whispering.

“Pretty good. So far I can deal with all the mess Idris has done,” I replied.

“Si s*alan what else did you do?” Lucas' tone began to sound emotional.

“Calm down, Lucas. He's not doing anything to me, he's just going to be a dad any minute,”.

Lucas immediately let go of his embrace and glared at me. “His affair is pregnant with her child?!” lucas asked half in shock.

I'm happy because Lucas didn't think it was me. I thought he was going to ask about me, thank God it was just my negative thoughts.

“Ya, right. I went to the palace to check the truth. And I got that answer,” I said.

“Wah, how great he is. Even to produce offspring.” Lucas shook his head. I don't think about Idris's behavior.

“Ya.”

“If she is successfully deposed, what will you do to the affair and the baby in her womb?” ask Lucas.

Even though I already knew what I was going to do to Rose Hindley, I chose to act like I didn't know yet to make anything. Let this be a little secret for a moment.

“I'm still thinking of the right course of action for them. You take it easy, Lucas.”

I'm not as wise as people including you think, Lucas. I am still an ordinary man who does not escape from a lack. There are times when I will cross my line and behave outside of the usual things I do.

Don't expect too much from me, Lucas.

“I'll be fine,” I said confidently. To make Lucas sure, I have to convince him with this attitude.

Lucas smiled. “I just hope if our relationship can be well established and last forever.”

“I also.”

Lucas also kissed my lips briefly. It was like a sign that our conversation today, had ended.

Ava put 4 thick books on her desk, after I went in to see her. He patted the book on the top pile and smiled looking at me. I looked at him tensely, as if I knew what would happen next.

“Learn this as fast as you can. These are the books that Eva learned. Two more days, we will carry out our plan, remember this well. I hope you can,” said Ava.

“All this? Isn't this all too much for Charlotte?” Lucas seems to object.

Brak!

“This is all the lightest to learn,” said Ava, after breaking through her own desk. “Do you want to mind again?”

“Tak what, Ava. I can learn everything in two nights,” I said quickly.

Ava smiled with satisfaction. “Go home, you need as much time as possible to spend those four books.”

“Good, I'm sorry.”

I came out of Ava's study with four Ava books. I turned down Lucas' help to bring all the books in my hands. With a little mana, I made the books float and tailed me.

Magic is a sign of its name “practical”.

“Then I go first, Lucas,” I tell him.

“We haven't talked for a long time through communication magic. If you have time, don't forget to call me,” Lucas said.

I'm nodding. “Yes, Lucas. I'll work on it.”

Lucas waved at me, before I finally entered the portal and appeared inside the secret room.

I walked out of this secret room, put four Ava books on the table, and then changed my dress for the one.

Ava was really very intent on pranking me. He gave me four books that each had 600 pages. I'm not too sure I can spend it all in two days even though I love to read.

His books have suspicious and unconvincing titles. I know what wrote this is Ava herself, and she's less adept at picking good titles. For example:

Whereabouts? Do you know how? Check it out here!

These were trusted magic-magic in the old days!

You can become a witch with just this step!

Magic and where? Is real?

I didn't think about him. Did my mother think the same thing as me when reading the title of this book? I don't know either.
