The Second Life's
LXX - Spill Only

I went to the Imperial Palace together with Hendery. I originally wanted to take Chloe, but Hendery forced me to take her away with me because of the arrow incident last time. He said he wouldn't leave me alone unattended.

We arrived at the palace greeted by the soldiers and Jack. Seeing her face made me remember what Ava said about her. He could also have had a relationship with Consort Sienna. And he could also be a spy for Consort Sienna to monitor the state of the palace and also suspicious movements that can be reported by him.

Rather than me being suspected of a no-no, I better move more carefully than I normally would.

“Welcome, Her Majesty the Queen,” greet Jack.

I just nodded and entered the palace. He tailed from behind with Hendery and the two Imperial soldiers.

“Does the Queen want to see the Emperor today?” ask Jack.

“No. Today I need my palace cash book for monthly check-ups. You don't need to accompany me or tell my presence to the Emperor, I will leave immediately after taking the book,” I explained at length.

“Do I need to open his palace safe for the Queen?” haggard Jack.

“Just write it in small paper and give it to me.” I acted as if I didn't know about the safe code.

Jack swiftly wrote the safe code onto a piece of paper he took from his small note. I received it and went towards the storage room that was in one of the dungeons of the Imperial Palace.

Only members of the Empire could enter the storage room. So, Hendery waited outside with the soldiers escorting us. While I was inside the storage room, I checked out some other items that caught my attention. There are many important books on Imperial genealogy, records of the war against the Avnevous Kingdom, and many more.

But that's not my main focus. Well, even though I really wanted to take her away.

“How? Has the Queen found what the Queen is looking for?” asked Hendery when he saw me coming out of the storage room.

I just nodded. The storage room door, which incidentally is the safe door, was again closed. As I said before, I intend to return to my palace as soon as possible.

If only there were no distractions aka Idris coming at me on my way out of the Imperial Palace. Beside him was Rose Hindley who was engrossed in tightly holding her arm. Gotta hold it up anytime, I don't care.

“My wife? Why are you suddenly here?” Idris surprised.

“I just picked up my palace ledger. Now that I'm going back to my palace, I won't bother you guys,” I said politely.

“At least we should have tea before you go,” Idris said. “How can I not entertain my own wife when she comes to visit my palace?”

I smiled seductively, trying to make Rose Hindley think negatively of me. “Ah, I'm not feeling well with Miss Hindley. In any case, she will soon be your concubine, right? I'm afraid Miss Hindley will be jealous of your invitation just now.”

“Why are you the one who feels bad? You are my rightful wife. Relax, Rose has changed. He would no longer be jealous and act like a child. Isn't that right, sweetheart?” Idris looked at Rose expecting a satisfactory answer.

Not going to be jealous anymore? Haha.

“True, Idrisku. I know you love me more than the Queen. Therefore, I will never want to be jealous again,” Rose said. The insinuation is not at all effective.

“So, yes?” I smile back. “Then, I gladly accept your invitation, My Husband.” I have to do something to provoke Rose Hindley's emotions. I won't let him laugh at my suffering anymore.

We sat in the gazebo of the palace which was in the side garden. Idris, Rose Hindley and I sat around the round garden table. Hendery was behind me, standing with a flat face like a wall.

In addition, the palace servants were busy pouring tea over the cups, and putting various cakes on the table. I'm interested in the chocolate cake on one of the plates. I need something sweet.

“Sunny weather like this is great for a picnic,” Idris said while staying the four of us in the gazebo. “What do you think, My wife?”

Notinterested.

“Was with the picnic, the sorrow in the heart of the Emperor will be slightly reduced?” I asked with a concerned face. “If it is true as such, I agree on the Emperor's decision.”

Rose Hindley clucked in annoyance, but Idris ignored it as if he was used to his disrespect.

“Yes, you're right my wife. After clearing a little schedule from my work, the three of us can have a picnic together near the border of Naorikan.” Idris smiled happily. “It must be fun.”

“Why should we go three?” rose Hindley asked, not liking.

“Ah, does Miss Hindley not want to come?” I closed my mouth and put on a surprised face. “Miss Hindley must be bored if it's just a picnic.”

Idris glanced at Rose Hindley. “Create that? So, you just want me and my wife to go on a picnic?”

Rose Hindley is getting upset. He glanced sharply at me who was currently engrossed in tea. As he stood up, his body nudged the table. I used the opportunity by removing my teacup and dumping the contents into the dress that Rose Hindley was wearing.

Again I was acting like unintentionally. I stood up and stayed away so as not to get a counterattack. Just as Rose Hindley was about to throw an empty glass at me, Idris had already calmed the wild fox down first.

I smiled briefly and then re-attached a guilty look. “Ah, sorry. I didn't accidentally, Miss Hindley.”

“You! You spilled that tea on me on purpose, right?!” snapped Rose Hindley. “Basic sucks! I'll fucking kick you!”

“Stop!” exciting Idris. “My wife ..., go home. Rose must be tired from accompanying me here while in mourning.”

Tired of anything, he even looked extremely powerful at the moment.

“Alright, Husband. I'm going home now. Don't forget to send me a letter if there's anything important,” I said. I left without saying anything else. Hendery kept tailing behind me without saying a word.

It was only when he and I were in the car that he opened his mouth. Not the words he uttered, but a loud laughter. I just kept quiet and looked at him.

“Oh, my goodness! Miss Hindley's face is so cute!” shout Hendery. “How can the Queen have such a ignorant idea? I took a lot of trouble holding back the laugh when I saw her.”

“You're too much, it's just a normal thing,” I said low. But, it is true that it is common and classified as childish. “What I will do after coming home from here will be more thrilling.”

“I'm really looking forward to it,” said Hendery while laughing again.
