The goddess brought me to another memory. Now, I'm in the Silver Palace. Concubine Sienna was still with my mother, but on a different day. They practiced magic together. I don't remember this either. Everything goes into my brain in a row.
Although Consort Sienna trained hard every day, there was no appearance of mana in her body. My mom seems worried about it. He was afraid that Concubine Sienna would become disappointed and also angry at him.
“There's nothing I can do, huh?” Sienna's concubine sat in a small chair on the edge of the garden. Yes, they are training in the back garden of the Silver Palace.
“Sorry, Concubine Sienna. I've tried everything I can,” said my mother.
Concubine Sienna chuckled. “The ends, the chosen one who will receive the blessing of the Goddess. Yes, right?”
“Selir—”
Brak!
“Out! I want to be alone!” shouted the Concubine of Sienna, after throwing the chair she was sitting on to the gazebo pole.
Mother relented. With a quick movement, my mother left Concubine Sienna alone. As soon as she was completely alone, Consort Sienna shouted with all her might. Roaring like an infidel. I know, he's at the lowest point of human despair.
And if that is so, any way whether true or not, he will do to get what he wants. Perhaps, this was the beginning of the fall of Consort Sienna into the shackles of dark magic.
I don't know where the Goddess will show this memory. It may not be my memory, but my mother's.
Everything was wiped out before my eyes and changed into a different scene. Mom's looking around for something in her study in Winston House. What are you looking for?
“Eva! What happened to Charlotte?” ask Dad who just walked into Mom's office.
My mom just kept quiet, kept unpacking the contents of the drawers and shelves until the room became a mess. Dad came straight to Mom, and pulled her arm. I don't know what they're talking about. She looks confused and unfocused.
“Lost ..., it's not everywhere!” my mother exclaimed to herself.
“What do you mean?! What's missing?!” ask Dad.
“That book! Forbidden book I borrowed from Ava,” My mother said. I was a little surprised that Mom said Ava's name so blatantly in front of Dad. Then you know Ava too?
“You're still in touch with that witch from the West?! I told you to stop doing it!” snapped Dad to Mom. “Charlotte is now sick! Think of our son!”
My mother was screaming hysterically. “It's my fault. I neglected to look after him. What if the book falls into the wrong hands?”
“By, Goddess! You still talking about that?” My father's pissed. “I'm disappointed in you.”
Blam it!
I closed the door hard. Leaving the mother who finally shed tears without me knowing why. Everything is getting more and more incomprehensible now.
Is it still not finished? To where will the Goddess show me all this?
Even though I gave her a hundred questions, the Goddess would definitely not answer them a single one in the form of words.
I saw another memory. Now, I am in the Imperial Palace. There was only Consort Sienna, Father, and Mother. They spoke in the living room in an atmosphere filled with pressure.
Now, Consort Sienna looked more confident than the memories I had seen before. Something is different from him. I know what it is.
“I want to resign,” said Mother in a loud voice.
“What?! Did I not hear wrong? What are you really thinking?” I look angry at my mother's words.
“Nona Eva must be thinking a lot. Since last month, Charlotte has been ill and has not recovered to this day. Unfortunately the fate of the child,” said Consort Sienna. His tone sounded mocking. “Emperor must excuse her, just give leave to Miss Eva so that her mind is clear again.”
Ayahanda also sighed. “I've also heard that Charlotte fell ill. Go home, Eva. Take care of your son and come back if he recovers.”
Not yet had my mother wanted to talk, Ayahanda had already left herself with Consort Sienna.
“What Concubine Sienna picked up my book?” ask Mom.
Concubine Sienna laughed. “What are you talking about, anyway? What book do you mean, Miss Eva? I don't understand.” at all
“It was a forbidden book. I took it from the Imperial Library to return it back to its owner. I can feel something different in the body of Concubine Sienna.” My mom seems to insist. “There is still time to return before it is too late. Concubine Sienna doesn't have to do this.”
Bugh!
I was shocked to see my mother being thrown back by something unclear. Luckily, she protected herself with a magic shield. Mother was wide-eyed as she looked at the body of Consort Sienna which was covered by an unusual black aura.
“Reacted right. You took the book ...,” My mother said.
“True. I took your book when you were off guard,” said Consort Sienna. “Basic liar. You're hiding something that could make me a witch so you're the only one special, aren't you?”
Naively.
“It's not like that!” exclaiming Mother. “How you get magic isn't right, Consort Sienna. You can harm yourself as well as others.”
“Fuck that shit of yours!” shouted Concubine Sienna. “You'll just get in my way, you better die there!”
The fight happened. Mother desperately repelled all the attacks of Consort Sienna, not wanting to make Consort Sienna hurt. In contrast to Mother, Consort Sienna even blindly attacked Mother with the intention to kill.
Being cornered, Mother launched an attack that made Consort Sienna flung back and vomited blood.
“Please stop, Concubine Sienna. You will be injured if desperate to continue this fight,” said my mother.
The concubine Sienna spat on her own blood and stared intently at my mother. “One-time arrogance to you.”
My mother's speech was only considered wind then by Consort Sienna. He tried to attack Mother again with all the power he had. When she felt that she had cornered my mother again, she immediately thrust her magic knife into the heart of Consort Sienna.
Concubine Sienna's body turned into charcoal ash, and it left Mother in shock. He probably thought that he had killed Consort Sienna. In fact, Consort Sienna is still alive and still disturbing the lives of others until now.
It was expected from the beginning, dark magic is not an easy magic to defeat.
“No eyewitness ...,” murmured My mother. “Did he really die? No, now that doesn't matter.., I have to go right now and focus on treating Charlotte.”.
Mother also stepped her feet out of the Imperial Palace with a deathly pale face. The scene changed again in the Winston House.
