The Second Life's
CII - Idris Memory (I)

Evening day came.

I'm still in my workroom alone waiting for Lucas to call me. It's too late, Lucas still seems to be working. If not reprimanded, he would definitely sleep in his own study. I'm so worried about it.

While waiting for Lucas, I also waited for Hendery to face me. We're gonna talk about what I'm gonna do to Jack.

I don't know if I need Jack's memory or not. Idris's memory has not been explored further. Yeah, I still have doubts about this. After talking to Hendery and maybe Lucas later, I'll start checking Idris' memory.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

“Queen, it's me,” said Hendery from outside.

“Come.”

Cleks!

Hendery came in with his clothes. Still with one sword on his left waist, he stood firmly in front of me who was sitting across from the work desk.

I looked at him for a moment. “I want you to keep an eye on Jack's movements. He might just be our threat later.”

“Good. What should I do if he looks suspicious?” ask Hendery.

“Leave it and report it to me. I will take care of it myself,” I replied to him. “That's all I wanted to tell you. And since you've helped me, your salary this month I'll give you half.”

Hendery who was originally ordinary, now looks very happy. “Really?!” call Hendery natural.

“Yes. I'll pass this on to Maya tomorrow. You can take the money tomorrow afternoon,” I explained. “You can go out and rest.”

“Good, Queen. Thank you for the Queen's kindness. I'm sorry.” Hendery turned around and left me alone again.

My communication crystal has been flashing a few times in the drawer, it must be Lucas. I grabbed the crystal from the drawer. I suddenly felt happy.

Is this the effect of a woman falling in love? I don't know that either.

“Lucas?”

“Hello, Sweetheart. Have you slept?” asked Lucas from across the street. “I contacted you a few times earlier.”

“Sorry for making you wait a long time, I just finished talking to my knight about the next plan.”

“Do not over-exert yourself. You just did something big last week,” Lucas said. “Always remember to take care of your health. Because health is the main thing in life.”

I smile. “You too, Lucas. Do not sleep late at night because it is busy with your work.”

“Uhm, if it's a bit difficult,” Lucas said. “I have to take care of all the work as King and also the work belonging to the Empress.”

Oh, that's right too.

Lucas ascended the throne himself, and automatically no Empress helped him take care of the government. I feel bad for making Lucas have to work hard like this.

“I feel guilty about it,” I told Lucas.

“Hey, don't be. I'm fine and very patiently waiting for you,” Lucas said. “For now, you just have to focus on your part and I will do my part here as best I can. Don't feel guilty, okay?”

“Yes. You're right, Lucas.” I agree with Lucas's words. “But, don't get sick too.”

Lucas laughed crisply for a few seconds. “Of course not. My servants and right hand watch my food every day. You don't worry about that anymore.”

“Thank God then. I can calmly do my part here,” I said later.

“Oh yes, I have to work again before going to bed. It's getting late. Rest, Sweetheart,” Lucas said.

“Sure. See you later, good night.”

“See you, Lucas. Happy work,” I said as the end of our conversation tonight.

I put my communication crystal in the drawer for a while. I leaned back for a moment and closed my eyes. This is when I started sifting through Idris' memories for me to see.

Where to start, huh?

Ah, I found something interesting. It's Idris' memory in the past. Should I see it for the first time?

Yeah, look at that.

Idris appeared inside my head. He looks pale and weak. My breath was choked together by bringing myself to the memories of the past.

I was taken to Idris' office with Idris in it. He seems to be busy with some papers containing plans for the future of the Empire, the budget of Vanhoiren, and other important matters. Idris in my memory stood two meters away from me. He's not looking at me. But his eyes were empty.

The door opened, and Rose Hindley entered. Sure enough, their relationship was indeed close even in this past. He smiled at Idris, and immediately said warmly to the man. Idris' hand was swaying every curve of Rose Hindley's body, the woman seemed to be enjoying it.

Sorry to show you this disgusting memory. But wait a minute.

I just kept quiet, ignored Idris' words in my memory and focused on this memory.

“Wait a minute, Rose,” said Idris in the past. “Jack can hear us outside.”

Rose Hindley pouted. “Sister Jack can definitely understand. We are two people who love each other. Friendly little no problem,” says Rose Hindley.

“You are right, but I have to keep my attitude from the other workers,” said Idris. “If Charlotte until know—”

“That stupid woman won't know,” cut Rose Hindley. “He's too focused on the job you gave him. You don't worry.”

“Ya, alright.” Idris smiles. “You may be right.”

Rose Hindley was already sitting on Idris' lap. “Oh yes, I heard that Charlotte often brings other men into the Queen's palace.”

“What?” Idris looks shocked. “Are you sure of what you said?”

“My mom knows everything. He also knows who the man is,” Rose Hindley said.

Turns out I'm being accused of the words of a venomous woman. Look at how Idris believes so strongly in his words. Stupid jerk.

Yeah, I'm a fool. I was so stupid to believe his words. But, this was solely because I was influenced by magic!

“Opini dead man is not considered,” I said fiercely. “Be quiet.”

Idris in my memory is silent again.

“Who is that boy?” ask Idris in the past. “Who is the man who dared to enter the Queen's Palace?!”

“It was the King of Avnevous, Idris. The king was playing with fire with Charlotte,” Rose Hindley said. “Even my mother said, they took the Imperial treasury for a splash-foya.”

“Br*sec!” ogot Idris. “How dare Charlotte betray me and choose a King from enemy territory.”

Rose Hindley stroked Idris' cheek. “Idrisku, relax. Isn't this a good time to get Charlotte out of office?”

“What do you mean?” Idris scrunched his forehead.

“You can use your power to execute Charlotte for her bad deeds. So, you can make me the next Queen!” rose Hindley, full of spirit.

Oh, Goddess. Look at these two s*alan humans in alliance.
