I wrote dozens of letters to the nobles about granting the title of nobleman to Hendery as a form of the highest appreciation for all his actions for me in the incident that occurred in the Imperial Palace.
Not to forget I also gave the official letter of granting the title of Hendery nobility to the Franklin family. Whether they are present or not, I don't care. At least, I already meant well by inviting them in person.
Hendery will still work as my knight even though he will become a Duke. No one can replace Hendery— because he is a suitable person to be a co-worker in good things and even covert.
By the way, before Hendery is granted the title of nobleman, I will meet with the Grand Duke to talk a little about my plan. At the very least, the Grand Duke is already a bridge between me as well as other nobles because he is the only noble who is wise and respectful to the members of the Imperial family.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
I glanced slightly at the door of my study, then later learned that it was Jasmine. He officially became my right hand in the Imperial Palace. I can't depend on Jayden because he's my father's right-hand man.
“Come in,” my word.
Jasmine finally walked in and bowed respectfully to me. After he closed the door behind him, he approached my desk and handed me a letter.
“This is a letter from the Expedition Team, Your Majesty. Please Your Majesty read,” said Jasmine.
“Good. Anything else you want to tell me?”
Jasmine smiled. “Does Your Majesty want another cup of tea to accompany His Majesty to work?” bargain Jasmine.
I nodded slowly. “Thank you for the offer, Jasmine. Bring me a snack too. I want to rest for a while. Ask Chloe or Matilda to bring my tea and snacks. I know you're very busy at the moment.”
Jasmine looked down again. “Good, Your Majesty. Then, excuse me.”
I did not reply again and let Jasmine go before I opened the letter from the Expedition Team.
This letter was from the Expeditionary Team's supervisor, it meant from the senior knights who were in the knight's special camp.
His Majesty the great Emperorina Vanhoiren I.
It would be a great honor if this letter I wrote could be read by His Majesty without any intermediary.
Please forgive me for this sassy, Your Majesty. Actually I would like to introduce myself more formally before His Majesty, but I also know that His Majesty is in a difficult and very busy time.
I am a Vanhoiren knight who has served the Empire since 40 years ago. My name is Finlay Cameron Turner, the head of the Turner family.
Perhaps His Majesty is planning a grand hunting plan to assign the Expeditionary Team as part of the hunt. That is a task we will be willing to undertake.
However, before we do so, we would like to report something first to His Majesty. We had reported this to Emperor XX, but Emperor XX was a bit trivial about this.
When the Expeditionary Team patrolled the border as usual two months ago led by the eldest son of the Franklin family. We found some footprints that went in and out of the border between Vanhoiren and Naorikan. Not far from there, in the Vanhoiren area, we found a small hut with several barrels full of materials for bomb-making. That's very strange, Your Majesty.
There was no one we found in the hut. Some of the vats we have also secured. If Your Majesty agrees to the further investigation process, we will start combing the area more thoroughly while conducting the hunt.
May Her Majesty Kaisarina be blessed Goddess of Virtue.
Signed, Knight Turner.
I folded back the letter written by the knight Turner and put it in the drawer.
Actually, large areas are in a peaceful condition, except Vanhoiren and Avnevous of course. But we have a rule. Anyone who wants to enter a territory that is not his territory, must go through a guard post at the border first.
All of his intentions and purposes should be explained to the guards present at the post.
And in the letter described by the knight Turner, it was obvious there were intruders who dared to pass freely in the border area. Are those people planning something? Could it be a bombing plan?
To my surprise, why didn't Hendery tell me about this? Was it because he had become my knight until the Expeditionary Team did not reveal the information to him? I don't know for sure either.
This report I'll take seriously.

A few days passed, I officially moved to the Imperial Palace. All I'm going with is Hendery, Jasmine, Matilda, and Chloe. Maya remains at the Queen's Palace to oversee all workers there. I expect a lot from him.
I chose to remodel Idris' room and change all of his furniture into new ones. It's a bit extravagant, but I don't want to sleep in a place where people always love.
Let it be, just for this time.
After making sure that Jasmine had understood what I wanted about my room change, I left her and went towards the living room together with Matilda. There was already a Grand Duke waiting for me.
The soldier standing at the door opened the door to his living room. I went in by myself and let Matilda wait outside. Our conversation will be a little personal because I don't want our discussion to stir up people who don't really need to feel that way. Like my dad.
The Grand Duke stood up and lowered his head in front of me who had just entered. “May Her Majesty Kaisarina be blessed Goddess of Virtue.”
“Thank you, Grand Duke. Sit down,” I said as I sat down. Followed by the Grand Duke who also sat.
“I am very happy because His Majesty invited me to meet face to face and talk,” said Grand Duke.
I smiled and looked at the banquet on the table that Chloe had provided. “Grand Duke is too much. I have been very respectful towards the Grand Duke ever since. If there is such a big thing about nobles, I must definitely say this first to the Grand Duke. That's been an unwritten rule for me.”
“I'm very happy, Your Grace. So, His Majesty wants to give the noble title to the knight Franklin, right?”
“Yes. That's right, Grand Duke.”
“It is possible that the Franklin family will disagree about it and antagonize the knights of Franklin,”. “Your Majesty knows for himself how the nature of Knight Mother Franklin, let alone Her Majesty once intersected with her.”
Grand Duke is right.
“If that is the case, the Grand Duke need not worry because the Franklin family has nothing left to do against my will,” I said calmly. “Knight Franklin should have gotten the reward for saving me. If I don't survive, who will lead Vanhoiren? The baby in Baron Hindley's daughter's cage? Not likely. He is still not even born into the world.”
The Grand Duke smiled. “True, Your Highness.”
As said before, if no one occupied the throne of the Empire, it must be another territory that would try to occupy it.
