The Second Life's
CIII - Idris Memory (II)

“Good idea,” said Idris with a big smile. “I also cannot tolerate treason. Moreover, Charlotte is having an affair with Vanhoiren's enemy. How disgusting.”

Rose Hindley smiled mischievously. “Because of that, do it as quickly as possible. Uhm, how about tomorrow? You can catch Charlotte tomorrow by storming her palace.”

“Tomorrow? Maybe it's too soon, Rose.”

“Idris ..., do you doubt my words and my mother's?” Rose Hindley put on a pouting face. “I want you to catch Charlotte tomorrow.”

At first Idris seemed to be hesitating, but then he nodded and smiled at Rose Hindley. He rubbed it on the venomous woman, then the two hugged each other.

It was only their affection that made me want to vomit in front of them. They acted as if this world belonged to them alone and the others were just hitchhiking.

The scene changes in Idris's private room. On her bed, was sitting Rose Hindley who only wore thin sleeping pajamas. The tip of the two Himalayan mountains until I could see because the thin sleeping pajamas were rather transparent.

Idris looked in the mirror. He tidied up the collar of his suit while occasionally flirting with Rose Hindley.

“You sure you want to watch Charlotte execution alone?” ask Rose Hindley. “But I want to watch it too. It will surely be exciting because my love rival will vanish before my eyes.”

“The execution won't take long. After all, our relationship is a secret. So, you can't show up in public first,” said Idris.

“Ya. Give me one kiss before you leave, Idrisku.” Rose Hindley stretched out her arms, coding for Idris to be able to hug her.

Idris approached her and embraced the woman's slender waist while kissing.

Then, Idris's memory moved again to the scene when I had been hanging lifelessly on the gallows. My heart felt very unsettled and fear filled me. I hate memories like this.

I still can't deal with the full extent of my past. But, I can't just give up on the situation. With a heavy heart, I keep seeing myself in that poor past. Even though he was dead, the people still threw me with various things.

Idris entered the palace and was about to meet Rose Hindley, but he had not yet entered, a conversation was heard in his room.

“Charlotte is dead.” From his voice, it was Consort Sienna.

“Really? Goody! That's what I wanted from the past,” said Rose Hindley, remaining excited when it comes to my tormented self. “What about Mom-made rumors about King Avnevous?”

“As for the Emperor to believe, we just have to make the proof.”

Rose Hindley laughed. “Charlotte poor stupid. He died on a charge he never did.”

Rose Hindley s*alan.

Idris clucked in annoyance and opened the door of his room violently, but upon looking inside, there was no one in his room. Even Rose Hindley.

Idris may not know, but I do know that Consorts Sienna and Rose Hindley are eliminating themselves with the Dark magic of Consort Sienna. And since they were nowhere to be found, Idris felt that he was just hallucinating.

When I had doubts about all my actions towards you, I began to look for ways to find clues alone.

“Hint?” I chuckle. “For what did you bother to do that? I was dead by then and you couldn't raise a dead man by your own actions.”

You may be right, Charlotte. But, I regret my actions for being too easy to instigate. And when I found out the answer, I realized that what I was doing was a mistake. You never did what Rose said.

In fact, you yourself are very loyal to me. Jack found the letters from you to me that Rose threw away. Everything is written by you with affection.

Disgusting.

This may be the last memory you can see before we're brought back to life.

I focused on Idris' memory again.

Rose Hindley was seen running after Idris which was very messy at the time. Idris's hair, short and tidy, is now a little long and unkempt. With the hood of his white robe, he covered his head.

Many times Rose Hindley yelled at him to tell him to stay in the palace, but Idris would not listen to Rose Hindley's words.

Idris rode a horse that Jack had prepared in front of the palace.

“Observe the palace while I go to the Holy Tower,” Idris orders Jack.

Jack just nodded. There's something strange about Jack, he doesn't seem to want to talk, but his tongue doesn't exist.

Yes, Jack's tongue was cut for hiding facts about your false accusations and being heroic at the time. While my mind was still controlled by common sense, I was trying to solve all the problems that I had started by myself secretly.

“And Consort Sienna managed to escape?” my guess.

Yep.

“But you keep Rose Hindley as the next Queen,” guess me again.

Is correct. Rose seemed to be equipped with the seditious magic of Consort Sienna. Every word Rose said, I always thought it was the truth.

I let out a breath. “Your words don't add your plus in my eyes. Don't interrupt my observation.”

Again, I try to focus.

“Stay here,” says Rose Hindley. “Now I don't want to be alone. Tomorrow to the Tower of Sucinya.”

Idris ignored Rose Hindley and then left the Imperial Palace. Idris's journey was taken without escort. He forbids anyone to follow him.

The Holy Tower was not far from the Imperial Palace. It only took him ten minutes, he had already reached that place. Idris is greeted by the new Head of Tower. I don't remember his face.

“Sorry, Emperor. I can only welcome you alone,” said the Head of the Tower.

“What's wrong, I just want to pray at the altar.” Idris stepped into the Holy Tower. It was seen that the disciples of the Holy Tower were praying and focusing on themselves. They cannot be disturbed by noise.

“I will leave you at the altar myself,” said the Head of the Tower when they reached the altar of prayer. Idris was silent, and he was left alone.

Idris walked to the front of the altar and sat down cross-legged while looking down. He closed his eyes and just stayed that way for a while.

“I've been here a few times,” said Idris. “There have been many prayers that I have said for you. But, why did the Goddess never want to repay my prayers?”

“Vanhoiren is over. I am not a good Emperor. There are too many sins I have committed. Too many people I hurt. That's why, I'm so sorry, Dewi.”

Unexpectedly, an extremely bright but dazzling golden light, filled the Holy Tower's prayer altar. Idris was shocked to see a woman emitting a bright light appear in front of him.

“You are ready to bear your sins?” ask the woman; the one who is none other than the Goddess of Virtue.
