LVI - Wedding Ceremony (II)

I ended up wearing the wedding dress I picked up last time. Chloe will be one of my bridesmaids with some servants from noble families. I can hang it if Idris secretly inserts Rose in it. I hope it doesn't.

My face has been covered by veil. I am ready to go to the altar.

Someone knocked on the door, and Tory immediately opened it. When the door opened, I saw Father standing alone. He was about to pick me up to go to the altar together. For a moment, Dad was stunned.

And I .. can only smile at him. I wanted to hug her, but this was not the right time.

“Alright, Miss. Hope the show goes well. I'll be soon,” said Tory.

“Thank you,” I said slowly.

I approached my father and put my arm in his arm. We walked together to the altar. Chloe and the other three people were in the back. Straddled my dress that swept the floor. Tory gave me a hand bouquet of white gerbera flowers to hold. Gerbera signifies a loyalty between partners to each other. It's perfect for Idris.

Actually, this moment is going to be very moving. But, obviously it won't make me overwhelmed at all. Unlike Dad, he looks happy and sad at the same time.

“You look a lot like your mother ..” Dad said. “Beautiful and graceful.”

“Do you want to say anything else?” ask directly. I'm sure Dad has something he's craving.

We arrived at the altar door. The Imperial Soldiers guarding beside the door also opened the altar door for us.

When the door opened, I could see the altar that had been decorated with white silk and lily. In accordance with what I want. The little boys were walking in front of me and Dad. They threw daisies onto the red carpet we passed.

At the far end, precisely at the altar, stood Idris and also the Priestess of the Holy Tower. Idris seems to fit in with his white oversized clothes. Handsome and sickening.

Dad let go of my arm when he got in front of Idris. Now, I—mau don't want—hugging Idris' arm. And we faced the priest. All of Rose's fans were closer to Idris.

“This is a happy day. The day when two different people are united into one with a marriage bond. Marriage is not an easy thing to do. Marriage is the time when both partners are willing to accept each other whole.” The pastor began to speak. “Your Highness Crown Prince, Idris Theodoric Vanhoiren, are you willing to lead your family into a happy family, then be patient, honest, responsible, and will never leave your partner until death fetch you?”

“Ya, I'm willing,” said Idris.

Ah, I want to laugh at Idris' joke.

“Your Royal Highness the Crown Princess, Charlotte Mikaela Winston, are you willing to accompany and support your partner lead your family into a happy family, then be patient, honest, responsible, responsible, and will never leave your partner until death picks up?”

I let out a breath.

I hurriedly kissed Idris' lips and wrapped both hands around his neck. Sounds of surprise from the guests. But I don't care. I stayed in my position for a few seconds while closing my eyes.

After my breath was almost gone, I broke away from Idris. I saw Idris was shocked by my actual act of being a bit of a bar-bar. I just want a kiss. If Idris had started, I'm sure he'd kiss me more than I did just now.

This is better.

Finally, we arrived at the procession of throwing flowers. All the single people gathered in the middle. Idris and I turned their backs on each other, then counted down from three.

We turned around after throwing the flower. Rose seemed to want to get the flower, but instead it landed on Hendery's sitting thigh. She was shocked when she got my flower bouquet. The female nobles became very excited because it meant, Hendery could get married in the near future.

Although I know that Hendery is a more positional person than a spouse.

Today's event doesn't just come to the wedding day. I immediately invited Tory to rest a little and change the other dress again. This time Idris and I will be sworn in as Emperor and Queen XX by Emperor XIX.

Chloe gave me as much emergency lunch as I could. I'm grateful for that. The Imperial Altar will temporarily be overhauled to become the inauguration venue for approximately an hour. That's enough time for us to take a break.

I don't mind the Emperor and the Queen not coming to our wedding.

“Has my make up faded?”

“Contact, Tory. You can call me anything while I have not ascended the throne,” my chant.

Tory smiled and went back to fixing the makeup on my face. His gaze was fixed on the polish of my lips that faded. I know what he's thinking, but I don't want to bother about it.

“Your Highness the Crown Prince is very lucky, yes. Because a woman as beautiful as Miss loves her so much,” Tory said with sparkling eyes.

“I'm lucky to get a man as good as him.” But, lies. “We are very suitable, right?”

Tory nodded quickly. “True once!”

“Even if there is another woman, I will not release her from my grasp,” muttered.

“Did Miss say something?” ask Tory.

“The weather is quite hot.”

“True, Miss. Dress with quality thin material can make Miss not easily sweat and keep cool,” said Tory. “I predicted this before making the dresses.”

“I know that you are a talented designer, Tory,”.

Tory's cheeks meet red because I'm praising her like that. Funny thing.
