The Second Life's

The Second Life's
C - After Coup (I)

Ava throws the head of Consort Sienna into the palace grass. His eyes healed as before. Only traces of blood left from the wounds in his eyes. Consort Sienna's head rolled dramatically beside Hendery, the man had gotten out of the way because he did not want to be exposed to the splash of blood.

Idris was already laid in the grass, and Ava was already preparing to destroy the Imperial Palace. He took out a super-large-sized magic ball from the right hand he raised upwards. His eyes glittered with emotion. There was not the slightest doubt implied from the look in those eyes. Ava was serious about what she was going to do.

“Inside there are still soldiers and other palace dwellers!” I'm on Ava.

“What do I care,” hiss Ava. His tone was not at all friendly. “I don't care anymore.”

“Please, Ava. If you destroy a palace like this, the loss I have to bear is not small,” persuade me to him. It is not easy to rebuild a palace in a short time.

Ava clucked in annoyance. “S*alan.” His magic ball shrank, but he still fired towards the palace until the front was destroyed. Bongkahan building also made the front door of the palace covered, while attracting the attention of outsiders due to the sound of a large explosion. “I held Sienna's body. Just tell me if his body mysteriously disappeared because of magic. The important thing is that you get Sienna's head as proof.”

“Thank you, Ava.”

“I'll be back to Avnevous. The rest you take care of yourself,” said Ava who then disappeared without waiting for my response for her.

“Queen, now what will we do?” ask Hendery.

“Waiting,” my word. I glanced at Rose Hindley who was still on her stomach. I kicked him a little until he grimaced in pain. “I know you've come to your senses from your fainting. Don't pretend.”

Rose Hindley raised her head, then gave me a sharp look. I felt that his self-defense was only a high level of self-conceit.

“Basic relationship destroyer people!” rose Hindley told me.

“Now is not a good time to upset me, Rose Hindley. You should have knelt at my feet and begged forgiveness for your life.” I put my right foot in front of his face.

Instead of begging for forgiveness so I could soften up to him, Rose Hindley spat on my shoes instead. Not just once, but twice. I clucked in annoyance and kicked her face with all my might.

Lady j*lang.

“Idris will get you in trouble!” scream Rose Hindley. “Idris! Wake up! Charlotte intends to harm our baby!”

“Stop.”

“Idris!” rose Hindley shouted, constantly. The screams sounded desperate. He cried while calling Idris name many times. “Idris!”

Rose Hindley had lost her mind.

I ended up squatting in front of him and holding his chin. Forcing him to look me in the eye. “Idris is dead in my hands. He's dead! No more father figure for your baby. You're alone now.”

“Devil woman! You made an innocent child lose Father!” scream Rose Hindley. “I'll make sure your life won't calm down, you br*hsek! Just die you!”

“You won't remember any incident today. You can't fall for a man anywhere. The only thing you remember is that the child you bear is the child of your forbidden relationship with the husband of another woman. You can't hurt your son. You hate him, but you can't leave him either. You will feel your life is very miserable. It feels like dying alone, but you can't afford to end your life.”

“Every meal you put in your mouth will have no taste. You lack appetite for that. Every word someone says to you, sometimes you'll hear it as a scorn. Your life won't be quiet and your sleep won't be good. This is the price you have to accept,” I said at length.

I managed to use my command magic excessively. As a result, I could feel my mana being drained all out. And the side effect is loss of consciousness.

A few minutes after making Rose Hindley shut up with her own thoughts, my gaze darkened and I could no longer remember what happened after that from fainting.

***

The sunlight coming from my window woke me up. I was already in my room at the Queen's Palace. My wounds have been treated and bandaged.

I don't know how long I've been unconscious. It could be a day, two days, or more. My head still hurts when I try to get up because my throat hurts. I want to drink a glass of water to refresh my throat.

Cleks!

Lucky for me, Chloe came—may be about to see my condition—while carrying a medicine box. He dropped the medicine box when our gazes met. Instead of coming at me, he ran out and shouted to Jasmine, Matilda, and Hendery.

“Queen has been aware!” chloe shouted. “Kak Jasmine! Brother Matilda! Knight Franklin! The queen has regained consciousness!”

That was the story until the four of them were already in my room at this moment. Jasmine and Matilda watched my injuries and my condition with great care. Chloe just looked at me from afar with Hendery.

“Can the Queen feel the Queen's feet and hands well?” ask Jasmine.

“Ya.”

“Can the Queen hear and see well?” ask Matilda.

“Of course.”

“And does the Queen remember about the Queen's last memory?” Jasmine's voice trembled slightly as she asked that.

I put on a sad look to draw their sympathy, except for Hendery. “Yes .... I remember that. A-is the Emperor okay?”

“Queen, I'm not sure if you can hear the news about the Emperor. But, sooner or later you have to keep this in mind,” says Jasmine. “It's good for the Queen to eat first to restore the Queen's power. You need extra power later.”

“What's with the Emperor? Just tell me he's okay!” I shout dramatizing. “I don't want to procrastinate again.”

Damn, while convincing my three ladies, Hendery did not even notice his own expression. How could he laugh when I, his own Queen, was drawing sympathy by acting pathetic?!

“Emperor found in front of palace ..., already in lifeless state,” said Jasmine.

I glared in shock. Well, I can take drama classes if I act like this. “A-what? You're not kidding, are you?! I want to meet the Emperor!”

Jasmine and Matilda instantly restrained my body from doing that. “Emperor is being placed in the Holy Tower for a while. The Imperial Palace was also unable to live because it suffered quite serious damage. Several soldiers, servants, as well as the right hand of the Emperor himself suffered serious injuries,” Matilda said.

Hoo, Jack's still alive apparently.

“Where is the Emperor's right hand now?” I asked Matilda.

“There is a health tent inside the garden of the Imperial Palace, Queen,” Matilda replied.

“Good.” I'll get rid of Jack soon too. It's not over yet.
