LXII - Morning Activities (III)

I sat on my couch in my room while being hosted by Chloe. He gave me my favorite chocolate and jasmine tea. I let Chloe rest while embroidering a handkerchief for me. For a moment I thought about Isla. I can't wait to meet him. All I expected was Isla's safety.

As long as I enjoy my tea and cookies, I can hear Rose Hindley's screams that disturb anyone's hearing. Come to think of it, Rose's behavior is now very very different from Rose's in the past. Maybe because he was caught cheating, he became more free to do as he pleased. Moreover .., Idris is very difficult to let go of the woman.

“I want to be appointed as a Concubine right now!” scream Rose.

“Go home, Rose. Let's just talk about this together. Aren't you ashamed of being heard by the servants?!” snapped Idris.

“I won't be home before you promise to make me your concubine ...”

“Bye-good! If that's what you want, I'll obey!”

After that, things became quiet. Most likely they were already speaking in a normal tone. Good though. I hate noise. Chloe even scrunched her forehead a few times because her focus became disturbed by the two parasites.

They should have fought in the Imperial palace in order to stir up. Not in my palace.

“Queen, does the Queen want another snack?” ask Chloe.

I glanced at the empty snack plate and slipped. My weight seems to be starting to go up. I have to exercise to keep my body fit.

“No need. I'm full enough, Chloe,” I refuse smooth.

Idris entered my room in a hurry. He came up to me and sat down beside me with a long sigh about twice. I said nothing and finished my teat. Let him first speak. I'm tired of dealing with people like Idris.

“Sorry ..., My Wife.”

“Sorry for what?” ask me without looking at him.

“On the commotion in the dining room earlier. Rose has been rude to you and disturbed our breakfast .... I will definitely reprimand Rose not to do that again ..” Idris took my hand. “Therefore ..., you do not get angry, okay?”

I took my hand off Idris. “Begging him not to set foot again in the Queen's Palace. I don't want the servants of this palace to gossip about me because of your reckless act of infidelity.”

“My wife ...”

“And about appointing Rose as a Concubine .., you better not do that fast. If you understand my point, I hope you can grant it,” I told Idris. Idris would be the mad Emperor if he dared to raise Rose as a Concubine when I had just become Queen.

“Alright .., I will listen to your words, My wife. Don't worry about anything. You're the only one I love the most.” Idris pulled me into his arms and hugged me long enough.

Am I the most loved by Idris? It's nonsense. If Ava had heard Idris' words just now, Ava was the first to laugh so loudly.

Idris let go of his embrace because he heard the knock on my door. I coded Chloe to open the door. Outside, I could see Anna and Hendery. Anna smiled, and Hendery was surprised to see me. I don't know what's on that guy's mind.

“Sorry, interrupt the time. I brought a special guest for the Queen,” Anna said as she lowered her head.

Special guest, huh?

Hendery does make Idris hot. Now Idris's face has been bent in annoyance. I could see his hands were clenched tightly. If Hendery fished him again, surely a fight would be inevitable. I can be made dizzy by both of them.

“Please wait in the living room, Mr. Franklin,” I told Hendery.

For the sake of the Goddess of Virtue, Hendery blinked one eye at me and left. I don't stop thinking about Hendery's actions that are already unacceptable to common sense. I'd better tell him before he acts any more than that.

How do I know he's coming.

“I don't know about that, Idris. He who came without informing me,” I said calmly. “Today you must immediately go to the Imperial palace, right? You better hurry.”

“I want to accompany you to meet him,” said Idris.

I turned to Anna who was still standing in the doorway. “Did the Imperial train have arrived?” ask her.

“True, Queen. The Imperial Train had just arrived earlier. They were already waiting for the Emperor to return to the palace,” Anna replied.

“You heard, didn't you?” I smiled at Idris. “Go back to the palace, I'll send you a report about my conversation with Mr. Franklin later. We will discuss his inauguration as my personal knight.”

“Uhm, no need to get like that. I believe in you, but that doesn't mean I believe in Marquess Franklin's son,”. “Don't let him touch you carelessly, okay?”

Who would want to be touched carelessly, unless forced to?

I could only nod and surrender when being frowned upon by Idris. He then left the Queen's Palace with the Imperial carriage. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief even if it is just for a moment.

“Anna, get the waiter to entertain Mr. Franklin and call two servants to my room,”.

Anna just nodded. “Good, Queen.” Anna then left me and Chloe.

“Please prepare paper and quill pen,” my door on Chloe.

Chloe swiftly arranged the paper and quill pen on the tall table in my room. I sat down in a small chair and started writing letters to my father. At least I want to send her my good news so she doesn't worry. I'll let Hendery wait for me in return for being flirty earlier.

I read again the letter I wrote to my father and smiled.

For, Dad.

I wrote this letter as fast as I could to send it to Dad. I'm kind. You don't have to worry too much about my condition. I'm also very happy if Dad wants to stop by here. Take care of your health and do not push yourself too much.

I pray for the health of Dad, Jayden, Layla, and all of our residents. Please reply to my letter if you have time to spare.

I folded my letter and gave it a special stamp of the Queen's Palace. I stood up and gave my letter to Chloe.

“Command a courier to deliver it to Winston House,” I told Chloe.

“Good, Queen. I excuse.”

I just nodded and before long, two servants entered my room. I ordered the two of them to help me take a shower, pick a dress, and also do my hair.

I'm sure one hundred percent if Hendery gets tired of waiting like that time. Let it. Hopefully this way, Hendery becomes deterred and does not mess with me anymore.
