The people shouted at them with swearing. Marquess Franklin was silent. In contrast to the Marchioness Franklin who is currently returning the cries of the people is no less fierce.
“Due to the Queen's kindness, the punishment for Franklin's former spouse was hanging, was changed to the revocation of the title of nobleman.” Jack began reading the contents of the High Court letter. “Starting this second, the Franklin family's noble title was revoked completely without any objection. The Franklin family was no longer counted in the upper class nobility, upper society, nor any interest regarding the Empire.”
The former Marquess and Marchioness Franklin were shocked to death.
Instead of coming to her senses, Gracie looked at me and shouted hysterically. Idris had wanted to get the soldiers in the execution yard to beat Gracie to silence, but I held him back.
Gracie was clearly still unconverted despite the punishment. As for Benjamin, he looked devastated. All the things he had since his descent, were destroyed in a day just because of the presumptuous behavior of his own wife.
Benjamin is not wrong. Of course he was wrong. He allows Gracie to exchange letters with Belka while Gracie is in custody and cut off contact with the outside world. Benjamin was involved.
However, in order to make Gracie more deterred by her own deeds, I had already prepared a present for her. One soldier came with a cattle whip. That's the prize.
“Title revocation only, spelled out not enough for a big sin. To that end, Mrs Franklin will be whipped a thousand times to keep her remembering today,” Jack said, accompanied by the startled cries of the upper class nobles watching.
Idris was surprised at me. “Charlotte, is this your plan?”
“Just watch this exciting scene, Idris. You like it, don't you?” Especially if I was the one being tortured, you would definitely like it even more.
“What? Of course not!”
Benjamin was dragged away to the corner. Now, only Gracie was standing alone in the crowd. The soldier who was carrying the whip earlier, approached Gracie and immediately raised the first lash. Gracie's screams of pain silenced the entire audience including Idris.
I started counting the lashes for Gracie in my heart.
One.
Two.
Three.
Four.
Five.
Again. The whip did not stop even though Gracie begged for mercy on me. I don't want to stop him. This is a warning to others who want to harm me in the future. I'm not shy and compassionate towards criminals.
“Do you not intend to soften a little on Mrs Franklin?” ask Idris.
“No. You have bestowed all your authority in today's execution upon me. All you have to do now is watch,” I said annoyed.
“Uhm, alright.” Idris was silent.
The soldier who was assigned to whip Gracie had already been replaced five times due to exhaustion. Gracie was already prostrating on the ground. His voice is not coming out anymore. His back was bleeding and his clothes had been torn from a too-hard lash.
His condition was so bad that a hundredth whip was cast for him. Soldiers immediately took Gracie away to be treated at my own request. So, the execution ends today quite satisfactorily.

I sat in the living room of the Imperial Palace to rest for a moment accompanied by Idris and my three ladies. I purposely left the three of them inside so that Idris wouldn't do strange things to me.
Justright. Idris just sipped his tea while glancing at me. I ignored that. It doesn't matter at all.
“Do you not want to sleep here today?” ask Idris.
“True also.” Idris' voice sounded shocked. “I'll tell him to go home to Hindley right now. Now, do you want to?”
Bizarrely. Just because I wanted to stay, she wanted to send Rose Hindley home? Does he have something he wants to do to me? Hm, I couldn't see the positive side of Idris at all until this second.
“No. My work piles up,” reject me.
“Can you take your time for me a little?”
Oh, Goddess. Why is Idris acting like I'm the only selfish person here? Has he not reflected on his movements all this time? Besides, where would I want to be in the same place as Idris for a day?
“No.”
“Do you really love me?” ask Idris. “Is ..., am I valuable in your eyes?”
I stood up and breathed. “I'll go now. Rest up. After the Franklin family falls, there will be many problems that come later.”
“Charlotte.”
I did not look at him and walked to the door. From the left, Idris pulled me violently and cornered me against the wall. He has completely lost his mind.
“I've made fatal mistakes in the past. Now, I seem to be doing it again,” said Idris. I can't take my hand out of his. Ugh, fuck.
“Stop. My ladies look at us,” I said half-screaming.
“I feel like the more days you get further away from me. When we get married, instead of getting closer, you're getting farther away. Is that a natural thing?” Idris asked with a sad face.
Reasonable? Sure oes.
“I have to go now. Stop talking about things that don't make sense. I don't like it,” I said annoyed.
In the next instant, I was shocked that Idris immediately kissed me blindly in front of Jasmine, Matilda, and Chloe. He even tried to feel my body to make me shiver in horror.
Plaque!
Since Idris was already being brash, I unhesitatingly slapped his cheek with all my might until he retreated backwards. I glared at him out of anger and disgust at his treatment.
“Stop touching me carelessly! I don't care if you're the Emperor or my own husband. I don't want to be forced!” emotional mine.
“Sorry. I'm just frustrated because you're being cold to me,” said Idris.
I shook off the hand Idris was about to point at me while looking at him sharply. “Just brush your savings,” I said spontaneously while out of the living room. Followed by my three ladies who were silent.
“I'll take you to the front of the palace,” said Idris from behind.
I stopped walking and looked back. I put on a hostile face to my stupid husband. “Don't follow me if you still want to see my face again,” threatens me seriously.
He just kept quiet. I took advantage of the opportunity by escaping out of the palace, and got into the carriage as fast as lightning. As soon as my carriage walked away from the Imperial Palace, I breathed a sigh of relief.
“Queen, did the Queen feel burdened because of the attitude of the Emperor earlier?” ask Jasmine.
“Uhm, in my opinion, the Queen's attitude is like that because the Emperor was kind to the Queen when the Emperor had another woman,” Matilda added.
I smiled and let them speculate. “I'm a little annoyed to see my own face today,” I said without a second thought.
