The Second Life's
LXXIX - Interrogation Belka (I)

My window has been fixed. I can still walk even though my legs are bandaged and still feel sore. I ignored that. On a cold, silent night, I waited for Ava to appear in my room, accompanied by a cup of jasmine tea and a piece of chocolate cake made by Chloe.

Tastes delicious.

Suddenly, my window opened. The night wind burst in, causing my body to momentarily shiver from the cold piercing my skin. Ava came in in the same clothes, but with bloodied hands. I'm a little surprised by that. But then I remembered that this woman in front of me was Ava. Yes, Ava. Women who really like the name of violence and also things smell like banging.

I can understand that because I already know Ava's attitude. But the question is, whose blood is it? Was it someone unfortunate who happened to pass by and met Ava? A lucky criminal met Ava? I was a bit hesitant to ask.

“I borrow your bathroom,” says Ava.

“Ya,” I said without saying anything else.

I waited for Ava while trying to finish my jasmine tea and mine. Ava was in there long enough. Five minutes later, he came out with clean hands and a bright face.

“Come, I'm already impatient,” said Ava. I know that Ava can't wait to hit Belka. It was written very clearly on her cute little face. I know, Ava's cute, cute, adorable face is out of sync with her behavior and her title.

“Good. Please do not make yourself seen by others when we go to the dungeon,” I said as I put my empty tea cup on the table.

“That's easy,” says Ava.

I got off the couch and walked out of the room in slow steps. Ava walked behind me before disappearing. But, I know if he's still tailing behind me. I went down the stairs and met Jasmine who was carrying a lantern.

It seemed like he was checking the state of the palace before going to sleep. That's what the Chief Servant used to do.

“Good night, Queen. Where do you want to go these nights?” ask Jasmine, be friendly.

“I want to check the waiter,” I replied calmly. “Sleep, Jasmine.”

“I'd better accompany you, Queen. I don't want anything to happen to you,” Jasmine said.

I'm shaking. “Not necessary. Don't follow me and go to sleep. It's an order,” reject me firmly.

Jasmine looked down. “Alright, if the Queen forces. But, let me accompany Miss to the front of the dungeon.”

“Alright,” I said agree on Jasmine's request.

The three of us came out of the palace through the side door. The location of the dungeon is in the basement outside the palace. There is a small cottage inside which has stairs to the prison. When I got there, there were two palace soldiers standing guard there.

They both bowed and greeted me.

“I want to see the waiter,” I told them both.

“Good, Queen. We will deliver it into,” said one of the soldiers.

“No need. Let me go inside myself. I'll interrogate him,” I said.

“We have tried to ask him, but he kept his mouth shut,” said the other soldier.

I smile. “Tak what. I can handle that. You guys wait here, don't let anyone in.” I looked at Jasmine. “Come back and rest. I can go back by myself.”

“This order. Go break!” I said half screaming.

Jasmine finally gave up and resigned herself. The basement door was opened by the two soldiers, and I went inside. Down the stairs whose walls are illuminated by torches.

This familiar feeling made my hair stand up. I know what it's like to be Belka. Caged in cold cells and dirty floors. Sometimes my own mind seems to talk to me. And sometimes mocking my poor fate.

I kept walking down the narrow passageway next to which was filled with empty cells. Ava had already shown her form, but she remained silent.

Belka is locked in the very end of the cell. On the left. When I saw him, he was sleeping with his hands and feet chained to the wall. His mouth was gagged and his eyes were covered with a black cloth.

I deliberately didn't ask the two soldiers for a cell key because Ava could easily open the cell. Now Ava was in Belka's cell and standing beside the servant. I chose to be outside because now my legs are shaking even if only outside the cell.

Ava casts soundproof magic. And the extreme action, it began.

“Build!” yell Ava dipped Belka. Ava had already opened the black cloth that covered Belka's eyes.

Belka opened and looked shocked when she saw me and Ava. He glared at me and his body trembled. I could see there were bruises on his hands and feet. It's possible that the palace soldiers used a crude way to get Belka to talk.

Well, even though their ways still fail and they violate my orders not to do anything to Belka.

Ava whispered something to Belka, and the lump in her mouth was released by her.

“You may ask, Queen,” Ava told me.

Silent moment.

“Who told you?” ask directly.

Belka just looked at me, then spit. Then, shortly after, he laughed mockingly. I'm not at all bothered by that. But not with Ava. Because Belka was like that, Ava directly punched Belka in the face without any hesitation at all.

“I don't want to hurt you more than this. I asked once again, who told you to?” manya patient.

“Kill me. Till death, I won't tell you anything.” Again Belka spit. And Ava's fist floated again in her face. “Somehow can Queen Vanhoiren? Forcing people to speak out with violence? You're nothing more than a lowly person with a high degree.”

Ava laughed even though I didn't catch where the funny thing is. After that, Ava sent four nonstop punches to Belka.

“Cuih!” Belka spits blood in her mouth. “Come, hit me more than this. Let me die here keeping all the secrets I have. You won't get anything, Queen.”

Ava who felt challenged, now began to behave more rudely. From what I saw, Ava really enjoyed it. Belka laughed when she was beaten by Ava. I think a polite way of asking is not something Belka deserves.

“You really don't want to answer?” I made sure for the last time.

Belka just stood still and pointed her middle finger.

I just smiled and nodded. “Alright, if that's what you want. Now ..., answer my question.”
