"I want to help him."
That was the last thing Rosaline said to everyone before she and Reagan entered the courtroom. Inside there, all the golden money were already sitting on their seats. By the time the two of them entered, the eyes of the aristocrats were sharp as knives. He looked at Rosaline and Reagan as if he wanted to kill them.
When the trial began, both relatives and several important people from the prosecutor's office witnessed the ceiling. One by one the golden money was asked the same question, until it was James' father's turn. Floyd Henry Adler's.
"From the witness' statement, you as the defendant concerned on the day of the Vreaa family's murder were among those who hid Rosaline sisters Mary Vreaa and Reagan Lucius Vreaa in the closet during the murder. Is that true?"
Floyd nodded. "true."
Rosaline occasionally glanced at James who was seen to have no expression other than a flat face. The man leaned against the bench of the courtroom while crossing his arms. Despite having a strained family relationship, especially him and his father, Rosaline knows James still cares about his father.
When their eyes accidentally meet, Rosaline quickly turns her eyes away and hides behind Julian's massive body. He lowered his head even though he knew James still had not taken a look from him.
"She's watching you" whispered Reagan as he lightly nudged Rosaline's body.
"I know but I don't want to focus on him."
When Floyd Henry Adler finished being questioned, he changed with the Jenkins family. Rosaline immediately glanced at Clark who was also in the seat titled 'defendant'.
Yes, thanks to Julian and James forcing the prosecution to put the Rosaline kidnapping on the trial list, Clark's name now goes hand in hand with the title of defendant, just like the other golden money.
"Based on the evidence in the form of recording provided by Adler's brother, Brother Jenkins, from the sound recorded proves that you are the brains behind the Vreaa family murder.
"Both the case that ensnared Thomas Ben Vreaa twenty-five years ago and the incident ten years ago in which the Vreaa family was found dead in their home. Are you really the main brain that thinks this way?"
As usual, Jenkins held up his chin arrogantly. His eyes shone low on the jurist who had been questioning him since, before the old man nodded and crossed his arms to the front of his chest.
"Yes," he answered. "I encouraged the golden money to do that. All my plans are what make it up."
Rosaline could feel Reagan's and Julian's hands clenching firmly by her side upon hearing the honest confession from the head of the Jenkins family just now. He knew, emotions must have been stirring in their chests.
Then with a soothing touch, Rosaline touched the man's two hands and held them tightly. Rosaline's head jolted between Julian and Reagan, watching them like a sports match and then smiling sweetly.
"It's okay. Father and mother will surely get justice" he whispered.
As time goes on, alternately the golden money are also questioned.
Until Clark's turn to speak, the prosecutor immediately mentioned the kidnapping carried out by the maroon-haired girl against Rosaline a few days ago.
"The Abduction of Rosaline's sister Mary Vreaa. Does this also have anything to do with your father?"
Clark shakes.
"What basis do you do it on?"
Just like the father, the look in Clark's eyes looked down on the jurist. "Blackmailed," he answered.
"Who are you squeezing?"
"The Adler family's son?" He asked and Clark nodded. "What are you threatening?"
As if there was no more time to lie, Clark immediately said honestly.
"I'm going to hurt him and expose all the dark secrets of the Adler family" he said, pointing to Rosaline.
Julian and Reagan glared. The two men spread their hands together to make a cross in front of Rosaline, as if it was a shield that signified that they were going to protect Rosaline.
The trial was later adjourned after Julian made a statement about how his friendship in prison with Thomas could be established. In the meantime, the golden money will be re-examined and held in their own cells.
This time it is not only Rosaline, Reagan, or Julian who fight for justice. After the strong evidence was revealed to the media, the British population who initially supported the golden money turned to attack. Thanks to those who demoed in front of the prosecutor's building, the legal process was finally done quickly.

"I'll help him" he said, again.
Julian and Reagan, even Daniel could only sigh with Rosaline's words. It's a week after the first hearing was held and now Rosaline is again saying the same thing as that time.
Standing in front of the courtroom door, Rosaline opened the door without any hesitation. He walked past everyone who was a living witness of his family's trial and sat in Reagan's back seat.
Today is his turn and Reagan is stating his statement. Prosecutors asked various questions and Reagan answered all those questions calmly.
The man occasionally glanced at Jenkins who was watching him arrogantly. Though already entangled in the case and confirmed to go to prison, the golden money fuckers still act as if they can escape punishment.
"Sister Rosaline Mary Vreaa," Call the prosecutor.
Reagan patted her shoulder gently while whispering 'good luck' to the girl. Sitting in the witness seat, Rosaline could not hide her nervousness. His hands were cold, but fortunately it did not shake.
"On the day of the Vreaa family's murder, where was Rosaline's sister and Reagan's brother located? According to one of the defendants. On that day you two were also targets."
Rosaline looked at Julian and Reagan for a moment, before directing her emerald netra to collide with a pair of bluish-gray irises that Rosaline now realized she was stuck in the idea of tranquility there.
"Floyd Adler saved us" replied Rosaline.
The whole room is silent. Waiting for the girl to continue.
"He hid us in the closet when the murder happened and he was the one who took us to safety after the incident. Because of him we can still be here as witnesses."
Once again Rosaline brought her gaze to Julian and Reagan, figuring out what kind of expression they were putting on. Rather than dislike, the two men put on a wide smile that seemed to tell Rosaline to continue what she wanted to do.
"Sir judge," Call Rosaline.
All attention was immediately on the girl, even the prosecutor who was still talking to her fell silent. Rosaline straightened her own saliva as silence touched the room, with a deep breath she said.
"I forgive Floyd Adler and Riley."
