...CHAPTRE 19...

...THE SYNCHRONIZATION AS TWIN...

"When someone suddenly disappears what was the first time you thought?"

"abducted."

"Dead."

"I hate both of you."

Rosaline let out a frustrated sigh in front of Daniel and Reagan who were busy chewing on their roasted beef bacon. The two men looked at each other confusedly before shrugging their shoulders indifferently towards Rosaline.

"What is Rosie?" Ask Daniel

smile gently.

He put the roasted beef bacon in his mouth back on his plate. His hand grabbed a bottle of salt to his right and spilled it slightly onto the food.

Rosaline looked at him flatly for a moment before looking back at the twin who looked completely unconcerned by his question. The girl let out a long sigh, subconsciously strengthening her grip on the fork.

Couldn't it be if he told Kaylie and Clark about the two of them? Daniel has absolutely no idea who he's friends with, if Reagan— well he doesn't know if the twin actually cares or not for him.

If he told Reagan about this, the man would definitely laugh at him immediately and blame him. Given that he had once warned Rosaline to stay away from Clark and cut off their friendship. And Rosaline didn't obey him.

Rosaline again sighed, making Daniel put a worried expression towards her. This day the girl often took a deep breath.

"What's up, Rosie? You look so excited. You can tell it to me or you can tell Reggie if you don't feel comfortable telling me. I'm fine with that."

Rosaline turned towards Reagan with a manyun lips. For some reason when he saw Reagan's cheek that had puffed up because the food was upsetting him. Without further ado, Rosaline ejected Reagan's head and made the man shocked and choked.

Daniel gawked at the sight before him just now. He quickly gave the boy a drink as he coughed loudly, while Reagan was ready to take a swing to avenge Rosaline's blow.

That night. Dinner at a rowdy dining table by the twins' silly quarrel. Daniel. He could only sit steadily in his chair, completely motionless here and there. He watched as he watched the two twin brothers so as not to kill each other. Even distanced the entire sharp object around the two of them.

A few hours after dinner, Rosaline opened the balcony sliding door and walked out. He rested his hands on the guardrail and his eyes looked down where the streets were filled with a handful of pedestrians and yellow lights as street lights.

He raised his head towards the night sky, staring at the small, shining stars above. It's twelve o'clock in the evening but the girl never goes to dreamland. Every time he closed his eyes, there was always a figure of Kaylie appearing in his mind.

And now he's worried. Wanting to report this to the police as a missing person case, it somehow sounded very unusual and exaggerated. But if he just shut up and it turns out the negative thoughts in his head it really happened how?

Rosaline shuffled her hair in frustration. He flicked his lips forward and occasionally grumbled softly between the strong night wind. Not at all worried that the wind that night could have made him sick.

Without turning around, Rosaline rolled her eyes as the sound of the sliding door she had left open earlier closed. When his ears caught the sound of the roar of breath and the footsteps that walked towards him, he turned his head.

There Reagan with a cigarette perched on his lips and a cup of hot chocolate in his hand walked towards Rosaline. The man smoked his cigarette for a moment and then exhaled his smoke into the air.

"I just found out you smoke" Rosaline said.

"Well, it's been a while, actually, probably about a month after we went to college. I smoke just to relieve stress." He took another sip of his cigarette and immediately white smoke spread in the air.

Rosaline looked flat at the white smoke as it slowly disappeared carried by the wind. "Wait until Julian finds out you smoke, he'll definitely scold you all out."

"No promise."

Instantly the atmosphere of silence between the two twin brothers circulated. There was only a subtle sound as Reagan took a sip of his cigarette and exhaled his smoke into the air.

Even so, the silence that exists does not disturb both. Rosaline and Reagan had gotten used to the silence since childhood, as if it gave them a moment to calm down.

"So, what's bothering you this time?"

Rosaline chuckles amusedly. He always gets a sense of deja-vu whenever the twin asks him that. Even as a child, without Rosaline telling him what was wrong, the man could immediately understand that there was something Rosaline was hiding from him.

So this is what is called telepathy between twins? Attractively.

Without saying anything or asking permission from the owner of the hot chocolate first, Rosaline immediately grabbed the cup in Reagan's hand and drank it. Make the owner just grunt rudely do not like, but still let the twin drink it.

"This news has spread like gossip all over Westminster and I'm willing to bet that it has reached your ears."

Reagan took one puff on his cigarette and replied, "the quarrel of the golden money and a lowly man? Let me ask, why was the rumor given such a name?"

Reagan turned his head to look at the little brother who was silent as he again smoked the cigarette in his hand and exhaled his smoke into the air. He looked up, seeing the full moon shining brightly above them.

Reagan fused his eyebrows together before glancing at Rosaline, noticing the girl's firm grip on the cup, as if she was letting go of all the feelings and stress she was hiding right now.

Honestly speaking. Reagan knows. There was something strange in the girl's heart, but Reagan had no idea where to ask. Right now, only one speculation appeared in his mind and his heart did not let him admit it.

"So what happened?"

After a long argument with his own mind, Reagan asked. He switched off his cigarette and left it lying on the ashtray. He turned around, fully facing Rosaline and crossed his arms to the front of his chest, staring fixedly at the twin as if waiting for him to speak.

"There's Clark, Kaylie, and Asher. At first, only Clark and Asher are in trouble, but out of nowhere Kaylie shows up and she immediately throws Clark away with her book. The book was about right in Clark's head and that's what got them into a fight before they finally got into a fight."

Reagan nodded as if he understood, although he did not know who the three twin names were. "Why did Kaylie do that?"

"He's defending Asher."

Reagan raised his eyebrows, "why? Is it because he's a scholarship student? I remember your question back then, about the golden money that was in my faculty. You asked me if he ever bullied a scholarship student. So my guess is this Asher is a scholarship student?"

Rosaline nodded. "Yes. Your guess is just right."

"Who is the winner in the fight?"

Rosaline rolled her eyes lazily but still answered Reagan's question.

"Kark's face at that time, yeahhh, you could say battered if you wanted me to describe it. Nosebleed blood came out from his nose, his lips were torn, and the tip of his eyes were blue. Kaylie, she's just a nosebleed. Not as bad at all as Clark. So you can deduce for yourself who won the fight."

"So what are you thinking now?"

"Yeah it's been a few days since their fight and it's been a real distraction to my mind. Clark. He was with his usual activities, and Kaylie—" His words were cut off. Rosaline took a deep breath before throwing it away heavily.

"—dia hasn't been seen since."
