...CHAPTRE 27...

...CHRISTMAS...

"You want to go to a Christmas party with me?"

Rosaline looked at him. "You want to go with me?"

Kaylie nodded.

"Why?"

"Because we're friends now. So how?"

"I'm coming. I want to see the party too. This was my first Christmas in London. So, I'm coming."

Kaylie cheers. "Good! I'll come to the little latte espresso to pick you up, so you better get ready before I come."

Yep. That's what he said. So this is where Rosaline is now, looking up at the sky where the snow is falling and slowly spreading across the street. Fill it with beautiful white stuff.

Now, Christmas had arrived and she was just leaning against the window. Waiting for Kaylie to pick her up for Christmas Eve together. Honestly, she did not expect that Kaylie would consider her a friend.

Rosaline cringing. Hugging herself tightly as she shivered in the cold as the cafe door opened, revealing two men running in. He turns around, finding his twin brother, Reagan, and also Daniel with their heads covered in snow and their clothes wet.

Rosaline immediately approached them with two towels in her hands.

"Oh my God, the traffic spikes are crazy" Daniel commented given how severe the traffic jams were in the city.

He grabbed the towel Rosaline gave him now and dried his head as well as his body. Do not want to get sick because of the snow and cold weather outside.

"Well, it's Christmas anyway. Of course there's traffic" Reagan scolded. He bent his body, letting the twin dry his hair.

Daniel pouting. "Who's the one who's out these nights. I know Christmas Eve but still come out. Can't you just stay home?" Pissed Daniel.

"I'd like to see the annual Christmas party in England. It's our first Christmas here anyway" Reagan replied, still not running out of arguments to argue.

Rosaline cringing. "You went there alone without me? You didn't take me?" Rosaline Wrath. His eyes fixed on the face of the twin, asking the man for an explanation so that he would not be angry now.

Reagan rolled his eyes lazily. "There's a lot of people there. It would be troublesome if you were lost in the middle of the crowd there."

"I'm not a child anymore" said Rosaline.

"It's just physical, but mentally you're still a child."

Rosaline groans. "What did you say? You wanna fight with me, huh?"

Rosaline took a swing at the quarrel, clenching her fists to easily dodge if Reagan hit her.

Instead of addressing the attitude of Rosaline's little boy, Reagan only let out a lazy sigh.

Before the quarrel between the twins continued, Daniel interrupted, "oh come on, you two. It's Christmas Eve, there's no point in fighting" he cut.

Daniel frowned in surprise as he stared at Rosaline's clothes. "Where are you going?" Ask Daniel to investigate.

"I'm going to go to that annual Christmas party with my FRIEND" Rosaline said, glancing sharply at Reagan who was still staring at her unconcernedly.

"Friends? The golden money? You guys making up?"

"No. The other."

"Oh, that black-haired girl?"

"Yes. Who likes you that, "Goda Rosaline.

Daniel only chuckles in response to Rosaline's seduction about the girl who admires him at their first meeting in the Foster book.

"He's the same age as you, literally not my type. I prefer older women."

"Ouch, don't let him hear it."

He sat down, looking around through the window where a black-haired girl was running in the shade of snow. He followed the girl and was surprised when he realized that the girl was running towards the cafe.

"Rousalina!" His shouting.

Daniel and Rosaline who were still talking to each other, turned around when the bell at the cafe door rang and a black haired girl ran in. Rosaline smiled broadly as she realized, that girl is Kaylie.

"Hello" said Daniel. He greeted the girl who admired him with a warm friendly smile like the morning sun.

"Oh, yes, hello," replied Kaylie timidly. A small smile instantly flashed as he looked at Daniel.

"Looks like your friend is here, Rosie. Soon after midnight, you better leave now or you'll go through the fireworks. So go, you can take my car."

"I can't drive" answered Rosaline.

"Yes, but Reggie can. He'll accompany you."

Reagan glared, the coffee cup still in his hand almost spilled upon hearing what Daniel said. "What's? Why me?"

Daniel clucking. "Because the only one who can drive besides me is you, so you take them there. It's an order, I'm gonna take you to Julian if you don't want to accompany your sister."

"Squeezer," Cecar Reagan.

With a triumphant smile, Daniel handed the keys of his car to Reagan who looked at him with a treacherous gaze. He just glared, not saying another word to fight back.

"Fines. Instead my shift tomorrow was taken over by her," Reagan said pointing to the black-haired girl he assumed to be Kaylie. The girl Rosaline told him about.

Rosaline groaned not accepting Reagan's words and Kaylie was just glued there. "What's? Why?" Rosaline blaring.

"Nothing is free in this world my beloved sister. You two have to repay me" he said, crossing his arms to his chest.

Kaylie, who doesn't know what to do, only notices her friend fighting with her twin sister. Oh, whoa. Kaylie just woke up. The man standing near the barista table was similar to Rosaline. But in the male version.

"Are you two twins?" He asked, staring at the pair of emerald irises that were on the man.

"How did you get to know us that fast?" Omel the male ketus.

"Don't blame me if you have the same face."

Reagan didn't fight back, just clicked his tongue and said, "ck, come on, I'll take the two of you there. This complainant man has kindly lent his car to us, look how kind his heart is," said Reagan deliberately pinned a mocking tone for Daniel who was still smiling threateningly towards him.

"Well, have fun!"

BRACKET!

As the door closed the sound of the car engine was heard. Rosaline, as a good friend sat in the passenger seat accompanying Kaylie, while Reagan sat in the driver's seat alone.

Reagan peered out of the rearview mirror, watching the two girls talking, laughing together, and ignoring his existence driving in front of them.

"I just found out you have a twin brother like him."

Reagan rolled his eyes in another direction as his eyes met Kaylie's. The girl knew that she was looking at him, so she just smiled slanted, as if addressing him in a mocking manner.

"And I just found out that my twin has a bar-bar friend like you. I think his bar-bar attitude is affected because of you."

Kaylie grunts. "Isn't that good? He doesn't have to be friends with the golden money anymore."

"Yes, that's one of the good effects. Thank you for making my cowardly sister fight back."

"Yes, equally. He's a coward."

"Yes. I understand that. So be patient."

Rosaline who felt like the third person there fell silent. There was nothing more to say with the concrete atmosphere between her twin and the Kaylie that was created back then.

Although, their topic of conversation only contained ridicule for him. It was very unorthodox for the two of them as quickly as it became familiar, even at their first meeting.
