...CHAPTRE 23...
...FEARED ...
"Rosilene..."
Asher gasped, hands covering his mouth and eyes wide open. He looked very surprised as he leaned his body against the wall as a restraint as he tried to stand up.
Rosaline knew how scared the girl was right now, just look at how she stood up. His feet were like jelly, trembling, and his hands covering his mouth were trembling as well. His entire body was trembling within the confines of fear.
Rosaline turned to look at Clark who had remained silent in his place. Just like Asher, he was shocked as well. Her hand rubbed her cheek that had just been slapped and Rosaline knew how painful the slap was just by looking at the red patches on her cheeks.
Rosaline pursed her lips before a wide smile spread across her face and her eyes sparkled with excitement. Finally, Rosaline's inner being was happy. Finally the day he fights Clark has come and soon he will be free.
Rosaline could feel someone pulling up her sleeve, as she turned to see who it was. Rosaline could only put on a resigned expression as she stared at Asher.
The girl's eyes looked frightened.
"That's okay," He whispered, "I've got this, whatever happens now let it happen."
Her grip tightened before Rosaline moved her foot forward toward Clark. He could not help but smile, grinning at Clark who was still shocked, with a red face full of anger and his eyes widened.
For the first time, Rosaline was relieved. She feels so free after slapping Clark in the face, though she knows the consequences she'll face.
Maybe get kicked out of Westminster? Or maybe suspended like Kaylie and insulted by all the students at Westminster afterwards? I don't know. He is ready to face it now.
"You—how dare you, shit!"
Clark pointed his index finger right at Rosaline's face. His eyes were filled with anger, his hands were clenched beside his hips, and he was grinding his teeth.
Rosaline could hear the angry tone in the girl's voice, but she ignored it. He tried to refrain from slapping Clark in the face again.
Because to be honest, Rosaline felt that something was possessing her now and pushed her fear to the other side and filled it with courage that she had never had before.
"I hate it. I hated your behavior all along. But I held him and kept him. And now, it's time for me to take it out and fight you."
"Against me?" Clark laughed, "i'm a the—"
"The stupid golden money rich because of his parents' treasure. You don't have to say it anymore, I'm sick of hearing it."
Rosaline could hear the terrified voice
Asher as the girl tried to stop him by gripping his sleeve and pulling him backwards. But Rosaline just turned around and gave him the warmest smile, as if telling him that everything would be fine.
"It looks like those lowlife are already affecting you, Rosaline. You think I wasn't aware of your little friendship with those lowlife guys behind me all this time? Just so you know, I'm a little hurt."
Rosaline rolled her eyes lazily as if she did not care. "What lowly are you talking about, Clark? I don't get it. Because all I know is, they're Asher and Kaylie."
Clark grunting. He put his hand on his forehead, massaging it slowly as a mocking laughter came out of his mouth. "Oh god, the lowly are united against me. Very stupid," he sneered.
Rosaline grinned. "Now you call me that? Look how wishy-washy you are, Clark."
Clark rolled his eyeballs, but Rosaline could still find an angry glint in her iris. Without looking Rosaline glanced at Asher. From his eyes he told the girl to go from there now, leaving her alone with Clark.
At first, Asher refused, unwilling to obey Rosaline's words. But with one eye-splot coming out of it, Asher finally decided to comply. With his legs still trembling and limp, Asher tried as hard as he could to run.
Rosaline glares. "What is the end? I'm the one who's gonna end you."
"Ending me? A golden money?Don't make me laugh." Clark laughed loudly, mocking Rosaline's words. But the one who was mocked just snorted no matter.
Rosaline was instantly on high alert as Clark walked over to her. He could feel the tension between them in this bathroom, but Rosaline ignored him, not wanting the tension to distract him.
"I'm the one who's gonna end you, you idiot."
Rosaline could see the grin on Clark's face, but she was silent, not wanting to give any response. Because he knows. With that grin Clark tried to provoke his anger to explode again.
"I don't care. I'm not afraid of your golden money status."
Clark groaning. "I don't care about you either. I'm not afraid of that low status of yours. If you die here, no one will be able to sue me."
"Yes, I know. This is how the world is, money is everything."
"Yes. Money is everything."
Rosaline surprised. He felt out of breath as a pair of middle hands choked his neck right now. Oh lord. He's off guard. Since when were Clark's two hands around him and strangled him? With a blurred look, Rosaline saw Clark grinning towards her.
"Dialan—lease!"
Rosaline. His mind turned to think of a way to break away from Clark. His hands and feet trembled as his gaze began to blur. Until one way thought about it and Rosaline's expression instantly turned horrified.
With a tense tremor still running through her body, Rosaline placed her hand on Clark's hand and raised her hand. He pointed his trembling hand before Clark's face. Till.
A SRCKK!
Like lightning. Rosaline's index and middle fingers pierced Clark's eyes until his grip on Rosaline's neck came off. Rosaline slumped to the floor, coughing while neutralizing her breath, while Clark cried out in pain.
"DAMNIT!"
It turned out that Clark's screams had just invited the audience. Rosaline only realized that there were some people standing in front of the bathroom door, peering inside out of curiosity.
Those who peeked would not be surprised, not even having the intention to hide their expressions of shock on each other's faces.
Rosaline turned towards Clark who was holding her eyes. Roll on the floor with red, watery eyes. Instantly, Rosaline felt a little guilty as she looked at Clark's watery eyes.
But his guilt was instantly gone when Clark stood back in motion to attack him. Rosaline's reflex raised her clenched hand towards Clark firmly.
MAAM!
And for the second time. In his life Rosaline watched Clark's nose return. Rosaline wondered how powerful her punch was to the point of making Clark's nose bleed and making him not wrinkle anymore.
"SIAL—"
BRAKK!
Whether Rosaline or Clark, both were shocked when the bathroom door opened and professor Watson appeared in the doorway. Behind him was Asher trembling in fear. He held both his hands tightly.
"What in the world is happening here?!"
"Miss Smith! Miss Jenkins! In my room now! I hope you have a good reason for this."
