The Continent of Europe
Chapter 28's

...CHAPTRE 28...

...LEICESTER SQUARE'S...

When they reach central London, Rosaline and Kaylie rush into a crowd enjoying a Christmas party while Reagan calmly follows them from behind.

"Look, Rosaline," cried Kaylie while pointing at the lamp above them, "last year they did not make the shape of the lamp like this. I prefer this one over yesterday. It's a better version than last year."

Rosaline pouting. "Well, if you're kind enough to tell me what it looked like last year, maybe I can picture it in my head and just compare it to this one."

"Oh yeah, I forgot that you're not a Londoner. So, this year's your first Christmas in London?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

Rosaline nodded. "Yep, first time."

Reagan, from behind, watched. Staring at the two girls who seemed to have not considered his presence at all. So, not wanting to interrupt, he decided to leave, leaving the two of them alone.

He walked to an empty seat near the red box phone that was on every street in London and sat there. His eyes were still fixed on the figure of his twin, Rosaline and her friend, still not taking his eyes off them.

Reagan pulled his cell phone out of his jacket pocket as Rosaline and her friend slowly disappeared amidst the crowd. In his heart, he hoped. Hopefully the two of them don't separate and he won't have to look for them like a lost child.

Reagan took a breath. Look at the screen that shows her wallpaper with Rosaline and Julian. Every time he saw the wallpaper, only one of them immediately filled his mind, the main purpose of which was to come to London.

Figuring out what Julian was hiding was crucial and Reagan did not know whether Rosaline remembered their goal or not.

Because of what, the girl seemed to have started to get distracted by the external events that were happening around them. And Reagan was afraid, he forgot about it.

"Oh god why this is so frustrating?!" He groaned, ruffling his hair.

Reagan stared at the snowy sky above him where the snow was falling and created a chill all around before he finally turned his head in a different direction right after he caught a glimpse of a familiar figure in his eyes.

"Ugh, that the golden money," the sneer Reagan raised the corner of his lips in disgust,

"maybe they don't meet. If they meet, don't know what's going to happen there anymore."

While Reagan was frustrated alone, Rosaline and Kaylie, who were enjoying their trip at the party, did not even realize that Reagan was not following them at all anymore.

The two girls were busy walking on, until they entered the Leicester square market where many store stands selling food and drinks. Kaylie whines to Rosaline to stop at a chocolate fountain stand and orders some food from there.

"Kaylie," call Rosaline.

With a hum Kaylie replied, "yes? What's up?" he said, not looking at Rosaline at all. He was only fixated on noticing the flowing brown fountain.

"I'm going to buy a cake or bread from that stand, mind if you wait here for a while? The cake from the stand really caught my attention."

"Yes, just go there, I'll wait here" he replied.

"Maybe you want something? Bread or cake?"

This time Kaylie turned around, looking at the stand that Rosaline had pointed at. "The strawberry looks good. I want that one" said Kaylie.

"Nice" said Rosaline and headed straight for the stand.

The weather was very cold at the time. Even after wearing a thick sweater and coated again by a jacket that was no less thick, Rosaline could still feel the cold wind pounding and penetrating into it. No wonder she shivers sometimes.

Rosaline smiled widely as her turn arrived. Her eyes were fixed on the cake that caught her attention earlier and then she ordered, taking the strawberry cake Kaylie wanted and then to herself.

In the midst of his pleasure, he frowned, suddenly thinking of his twin brother. Oh right, Reagan. Where's she? Think Rosaline. He was aware when the man disappeared from behind them earlier. So where is he? Even though Rosaline knew that her twin would not get lost, she was still worried.

"Maybe I can call her to make sure she's okay" Rosaline said in a huffed tone.

When the seller called her and gave her the order, Rosaline could not hide the sweet smile that was widening on the face. He hummed, walking straight towards Kaylie who was still focused on the brown fountain before Rosaline came to a halt.

His body immediately snapped tensely right after catching the two extremely familiar figures in his eyes. There, Clark Sadie Jenkins and her boyfriend James Orion Adler, stood a short distance away from her.

Butbut wait. Rosaline immediately frowned when recognizing the figure of the woman trailing behind them with a frowning face. Wasn't that the woman James was with at Westgate at the time? And the woman who was sitting next to him in the car when he came to the little latte espresso?

Rosaline flinched as her emerald eyes accidentally met a glance with those pair of gray eyes. Of course James's eyes. The blonde man looked at him. Rosaline quickly looked away, hoping inwardly that the man would not recognize her.

"God what happened to my luck today?" he whispered.

Rosaline immediately rushed towards Kaylie, to pull the girl away from there. Right now, Rosaline was unwilling to deal with those golden money.

Not today, of course. It's his first Christmas in London, he won't let anyone ruin it. Especially them. The golden money he hated.

"You got your cake?" Kaylie asked as Rosaline stood beside him with a breath of breath.

"Yes and you?" answer Rosaline.

"Yep, done."

"Good then, now come on, we have to find a place so we can enjoy our food."

"Why rush?" Kaylie asked confusedly, "I'd like to buy a sausage first maybe a burger too."

Rosaline groans. "All right then," he snorted, "where's the stand?"

"Let's go, I'm still looking," Kaylie shrugged, "oh over there. How could I not have noticed it before," Kaylie cried and pointed.

Rosaline turned to look at what Kaylie had pointed at. Instantly his eyes widened. How not, the food stand was exactly close to the two golden money. Rosaline was terrified when Kaylie suddenly ran towards the food stand.

"Yourlie!" Call him but Kaylie doesn't stop.

At first everything was fine. Rosaline managed to keep Kaylie from meeting Clark. But, baby, destiny says something else. Right after Kaylie got her sausage and burger, a hand grabbed her hair.

"Ow," Stirring.

"Oh, two lowly people are here."

With a heartless greeting, Rosaline immediately smiled resignedly. Oh my god, inner Rosaline. It was his first Christmas in London.
