The Continent of Europe
Chapter 71's

Rosaline hissed in pain as her ears heard a loud voice calling out her name. Slowly the girl opened her eyes, her faint emerald netra catching a figure of a man illuminated by a dim light on it. The figure unceasingly called out his name and told Rosaline to get up.

In a split second after the duct tape in his mouth was released, Rosaline's gaze sharpened again. Now he could see who the figure under the light was. His eyes glare, watching the gray net which he has just realized that he is in love with his owner.

"James?" Calling lirih.

The man nodded and removed the rope that had been tying Rosaline's hands and feet. James was convinced that the rope was very strong. Because after all when the rope was released perfectly, red spots immediately adorned the wrists and feet of Rosaline.

"You're sober?" James asked. He noticed Rosaline's eyes moving around like a daze. "There's Julian, Daniel, and Reavan here" he added, and this time managed to draw Rosaline's attention to him again.

"Julian? Daniel's? Reggie's? What are they doing here?" Ask wonder. His eyebrows are confused.

"They're looking for you" replied James.

Without further ado, James stood up and pulled Rosaline to his feet as well. But Rosaline who seemed to be still half conscious suddenly collapsed to the floor again while complaining of pain. Feeling guilty about it, James bent his body to align with Rosaline and said.

"Let's carry it" he said. His hands were wide open, ready to carry Rosaline.

"No. It'sit's okay. I can stand on my own."

It was true that Rosaline could stand on her own, but when her legs were forced to walk she fell back. James took a long breath. Tired and frustrated mixed one in his breath.

Come on, Rosaline, her inner self. This is not the time to joke. What if Clark suddenly comes back? Because so far there is no sign of Clark's appearance, so it becomes an opportunity for Rosaline and she escapes safely.

"Let's go up," he said.

Rosaline watched James who again bent his body, but this time turned her back. Both of his hands cupped back and his head moved pointing at his back. As if telling Rosaline to go up there.

"We don't have time, Rosaline. While Clark's not here, let's run. There's a press waiting for us."

"Pers?" Rosaline was confused.

James grieves. "There's no time to explain it here. Let's get on!"

Rosaline pouted but still obeyed the man's will. He carefully crawled behind James' body and wrapped his hands around the man's neck. Rosaline gasped as James' big hand touched her thigh, holding her back.

"What if you knew there was a different room behind this mirror?" Rosaline asked as they passed through the broken glass on the floor.

"With my detective sense," She used.

Rosaline chuckles. "Before I fainted, Clark saw something on his phone and suddenly he screamed in anger. He came out of the room where I was and right after that a gas was smelled by me and I fainted."

"He must have known about the news" James replied.

"It's your father's story that says he was involved in my father's murder?"

With that, James' quick footsteps stopped. Rosaline could feel James's fingers sticking out of her thighs as the man raised his head and sighed.

"Once this done. I'll tell you everything I know. I promise."

"Do they commit corruption?"

"Are they planning the murder of one of their own members?"

The camera flash continues to hit Floyd's face as he and family head Riley rise to the top of the press. Thousands of questions began raining down on the two members of the golden money as the microphone was aimed near their faces.

"All evidence has been provided to the police and prosecutors and is now being processed legally. We're just waiting for the trial call."

The sound of the camera increasingly intensively taking photos of the two golden money. It was as if they were famous artists who were exposed to a scandal. Floyd and Riley's family kept their sights set, straight, and firm. Tightening the jaw as a form of firmness.

To be honest, Floyd had no idea that Riley's family would be coming to the press with him. Ten years later, Riley's family has disappeared from view, never to be seen again on this earth.

But when Floyd started talking to the media first, Riley's family suddenly appeared in front of her house carrying a pile of documents that they now make strong evidence to destroy the golden money.

From the false evidence that made Thomas Ben Vreaa imprisoned twenty-five years ago, then the murder that killed the Vreaa family ten years ago. It is also strong evidence to add to the mistakes of the golden money while clearing the good name of the Vreaa family.

As Floyd once said, it may be time for the golden money to be destroyed.

The sudden arrival of Rosaline and James in the press at that time made the condition grow worse. Rosaline who as a living witness was immediately attacked by various questions, luckily Julian and his other gangster members immediately dispelled the reporters. Protect Rosaline.

Shortly after the press was over, sirens from the police car were heard. They immediately dragged Floyd with Asher's father to the police. And one week later the trial began. With all the golden money being the perpetrator and Rosaline and Reagan as the victim as well as the witness.

"What's wrong with you, Rosaline?" ask Reagan astonished. The man's brows furrowed, noticing his twin brother holding his hand so tightly.

Rosaline leaned her head against the shoulder of the twin and let out a long sigh. "I'm scared" he answered.

"From what?"

"Reality."

"What truth? The fact that you love the son of our family's killer?"

Rosaline smiled desperately and nodded. "When did you know I loved her?" She asked.

Reagan leaned his body against the wall behind him and sighed. "Long time ago. I think I realized it when you two worked together on the same project."

Rosaline squeezed Reagan's hand tightly until the man grimaced in pain. "I'm scared" he whispered,

"I'm afraid mom and dad will hate me from up there because their daughter is in love with the son who killed them."

Reagan chuckles. He placed his hand on Rosaline's head and gently brushed it. He gave his twin the brightest and warmest smile as he cupped Rosaline's cheeks together and raised the girl's gaze to look at her.

"If they know you're in love with someone. They'll support you."

Rosaline pouting. "Even with James?"

Reagan nodded. "Even with him. Somehow I can imagine mom and dad saying 'whatever his parents did, it wasn't his fault. The child is innocent, they do not deserve the sins of their parents'."
