Contamination

Kelana felt something wrapped around her neck. Still closing his eyes, he fumbled. Something that felt slippery was causing her to panic.

"U-snake?" inner choked. Like there were many snakes circling his neck.

The large snake seen before made Kelana think so. Around there, there could be the snake children. For example, the big snake was gone when the crab started to smash its body into the glass. If not, they would have been killed.

Hearing that, Kelana was surprised. "How can you talk in water?"

His hands were raised from the neck by Gafrillo. His body still felt submerged in water. Opening her eyes ensures that her feelings are not wrong.

The dim view in the eyes of Kelana before was immediately bright. In fact, the lights have been extinguished, leaving the animals as a source of illumination. He turned his head while looking up, peering at Gafrillo who was hugging him.

"It's an oxygen jellyfish. By wearing it, we can breathe in water like using an oxygen tube. This animal will also not strangle humans because carbon dioxide is one of his favorite foods," explained Gafrillo.

He mimicked what his father did. Aeneas grabbed a jellyfish that passed close by. Before wearing it, Aeneas cleanses the face of the remnants of blood, meat, and mucus.

Giant crabs become the snatch of two crocodiles. Shells broken. Meat torn. The screeching is very disturbing. They want to close their ears. However, a jellyfish helmet prevents it.

Suddenly, the darkness swallowed them all. Kelana and Gafrillo. They could not see each other, except in pitch black.

"Uncle, what's going on? Why is it suddenly dark? Is this animal out of battery?" Through confusion. His heart was racing faster.

His brain imagined a spooky one. Two crocodiles are still near them. In the blinding darkness, the two predators could have swum closer without their knowledge.

"This animal is not an electronic object that can lose light because it runs out of power. They'll keep shining to death." Gafrillo was astonished too.

Everything around them was completely gone from sight. They can't even see their own bodies. Even so, the sounds of water and roars could still be heard.

Only Aeneas could see clearly. A pitch-black liquid gushed out from behind the ruins. Quickly, the liquid spreads like mist or dye, contaminating the clarity of water.

The animals hit each other occasionally, then let out a groan. The place became noisy. Ruins move. His rumbling sounds added to the gripping feel.

The two tentacles streaked lightning, grabbing Kelana and Gafrillo. The ends are wrapped around them until they are invisible.

"Snake! The snake! Uncle, help!" Kelana yells raucously. Kenyil-kenyil who wrapped all over the body made him shocked.

Gafrillo himself could do nothing. He tried to stretch something that was squeezing. However, futile.

Aeneas watched it all. The tentacles were pulled back, disappearing behind the ruins along with Kelana and Gafrillo. Aeneas tightened the grip on the fish bones that was already like a sword to him. His gaze was straight, looking at what was really behind the ruins.
