Armed with information from the internet, Abrizar and Eiji headed to the city hall. Sanubari left his cell phone at home. There was no way to find out its location other than to suppose that the police would take him there.
Fifteen minutes into the walk, they reached the field. Both of them registered themselves as visitors before being allowed to meet Sanubari. Officers searched them.
"What's this?" ask the police when Eiji hands over a plastic bag containing a bottle that looks suspicious. In the plastic bag there is also boxed rice and mineral water.
Sanubari left before he could eat. So, Abrizar and Eiji took the initiative to buy in the middle of the trip, worried that Sanubari was starving because he had not been fed rations.
"It's just Sanu's medicine. He is still on medication and must consume it regularly" he replied.
"This thing we'll test first in the police lab. We will give it to you after it is proven that it does not contain any prohibited items. This is a procedure to avoid the improper circulation of goods in the container. I hope you understand."
The police seized the drugs. He put the label on the wrap. Abrizar's wand was asked. They were told to leave everything that looks like it can be used as a weapon.
"Can you please as soon as possible? This afternoon, he had not taken any medicine" Abrizar said.
"We'll give it to him as soon as it's proven safe" the police said.
After that, they were guided through the hallway, towards a room. Abrizar and Eiji are welcome to sit down. They waited for a moment before Sanubari was brought in.
"You have fifteen minutes. I'll be back when the time is up" said the police officer, who later exited, standing guard by the door.
"Thank God you know I'm here. I really don't know what to do."
Sanubari smiled at the arrival of his two best friends. He really doesn't feel like he's in bars. The room also made him feel uncomfortable.
"Sanu, you have to be honest with us! Have you ever done anything against the law?" search Abrizar.
"I don't think so, other than the grave. But, really I don't know. If I had known, I would have done it according to procedure. Will I still be punished for my ignorance?"
Sanubari bowed with regret. His heart is pounding. Both hands are squeezing the knees.
There was not much they could talk about because Sanubari himself knew nothing. Before returning home, Abrizar spoke to the warden.
The police explained, "Sanubari has violated Law number eleven on the protection of sustainable food land. It is likely to get a maximum prison sentence of five years and be fined five billion rupiah. It can also get relief. It depends on the outcome of the trial."
"But he only made the garden a grave. It benefits the society. What harm? Why go to jail?" sue Abrizar.
"Clearly wrong because he has eliminated land that has the potential to become a source of food and employment. In this increasingly developing era, green land is very much considered by the government to avoid a crisis."
"Then, what about the people who opened up private land, then set up a house on it? I think there's something like that and they're not in jail."
Abrizar wanted to dig deeper. He could only reveal what was happening around because he himself was lawless.
"Such a day could have existed in previous years, but the Acts in force this year were different. The law undergoes periodic changes to adjust the development. Year after year, green land in Indonesia is decreasing. Land protection laws are in place so that people do not experience food difficulties or natural disasters in the future. You can certainly imagine what would happen if the green land ran out, right?"
For a moment, silence was created between them. Abrizar was confused as to what to reply. However, the police said again, "If you want to suspend the detention, you will have to pay a suspension guarantee of twenty billion. That way, you can bring your brother home today as well. Certainly, there are other requirements that must be met."
That's a huge nominal. It was not that he did not have that much money, but Abrizar felt that this matter was too trivial and strange. He said the detention did not even need to be carried out.
After that, they say goodbye. Although Abrizar disagreed with Sanubari's detention, the police explanation sounded convincing and reasonable. He had no more arguments to oppose.
Eiji could not help either. Besides not understanding the law, he is not Indonesian.
"So, there's such a rule, huh?" eiji asked as soon as the car came out of the hospital yard.
"Eitherway. I have never memorized the contents of a law book that may contain hundreds of chapters."
Abrizar shrugged his shoulders. The law is too complicated for him. Sometimes, there are also many articles that are not really applied in life. So, he was lazy to learn it unless it was necessary.
The car drove to the city station. Before leaving, Fanon told them to pick up someone at the station. They arrived early. Both of them sat in the waiting room.
The train approaching. Announcement was also announced. The train came and went. Not long after, a male voice sounded.
"Kun Eiji!"
Eiji. Two men and two twin women came out of the platform, walking towards them.
"Uncle Fukai, you ...." Eiji standing.
"We happened to meet at the station. So, can all of you together. It seems, we are indeed fools," chuckled Fukai glanced at the veiled girl next to him.
"Unclearance of Incumbents?"
Eiji looked at the two in turn. He had already seen the photo of the Incumbent, but there was an additional one foreign man in front of him. In addition, there are two incumbents. Eiji was a little confused.
"We met in Zanzibar. These two guys kidnapped me, ABRI, and Sanu, but Hana saved us" Fukai said.
"abducted? You never told me about it" Eiji replied.
"Ah, that's just the past. We're really sorry. Therefore, we have come to take responsibility for Sanubari. I'm Petamana and my egg-head partner Juma."
The girl reached out her hand, smiling at Eiji. They shake hands with each other.
Eiji took them walking to the car. Eiji volunteered to bring the girls things. However, they refused.
"What did Uncle come for? No word yet."
"You forgot? I'm Sanu's personal doctor. Of course I came to control his health. Moreover, I heard that you guys will stay here for a long time. So, I was mutated here," Fukai replied.
"Sanu is fine. The supplies are still there, too" Eiji said.
"No matter what the circumstances are, he's still my responsibility. You said it's okay, are you sure he's not bleeding easily anymore?" ask Fukai.
Arriving at the car, Eiji opened the trunk. Some of those that do not fit are taken to the passenger seat. Abrizar and Eiji sat in front. The girls in the middle. Juma and Fukai in the back seat.
They use the internet to find nearby restaurants. The six ate before returning home. They also pack food for others.
