"Aeneas, you can't do that!" Gafrillo raised the voice.
Kelana was a little surprised. Gafrillo, who had calmed down earlier, looked angry. His eyes glared sharply at Aeneas. The gaze replied to a gaze with a similar aura, making Kelana increasingly wonder what is the relationship with this father and son.
"See the expiration date!"
"He can talk?" batin Kelana was surprised. For the first time, Kelana heard the voice of Aeneas.
"What's with the expiration date? If it's not worth it, where can it be kept, right? Well, even though this place is weird." Gafrillo's expression returned to normal.
"Look at it!" reset Aeneas.
Gafrillo took the milk box. He read the writing on the wrap carefully. His eyes faded for a moment.
"2222? What kind of person keeps stuff this old?" Gafrillo shook his head, "this ..the factory must have been misprinted!"
"No." said Aeneas with a flat face.
Gafrillo lays milk one and a half liters. He hurried to get up, checking all the packaged food and drinks he could find. Kelana grabbed the milk box out of curiosity.
"Well, what year is it?" ask Gafrillo.
"2444, Uncle."
"Impossible! All of these products expire no more than in 2224. How could we have just eaten two centuries old meat, right? If that's true... oh, my God, we just ate a fossil!"
"Fossils? What are fossils?"
"Such a remnant of a living being from ancient times is preserved naturally, but this is meat. Ah, nevermind! Don't think!"
Kelana also did not think meat could be preserved for that long. In terms of taste, the meat he had just eaten was similar to the fresh meat his mother cooked or the restaurant, there was absolutely no sign of decay.
"Thank you, Aeneas!" He looked embarrassed. He had misunderstood Aeneas. After seeing the Expiration date, Kelana became understanding. Aeneas only wanted to warn him, but still the way was strange.
They continue their journey. There is no point in wondering about dates. None of them could answer. Whether the object is indeed a relic since ancient times, deliberately printed so, or deliberately stored.
The first elevator they found didn't work. The three walked back to look for the stairs until they could no longer find the stairs. Gafrillo tried to break down a locked door. When the door opened, Gafrillo fell down because of a large burst of water. Kelana and Aeneas hit the wall because they were driven by water.
Behind the door, there were only endless loose waters. The door cannot be closed again. The water continued to flow, spreading evenly to the lower floors. Gafrillo quickly took the two boys back down, looking for another way before all the floors were completely submerged.
"Uncle, I didn't go through a place like this before." Kelana stopped Gafrillo.
They arrived at a place that was like a hall. The illumination resembles a flower and the animal decorates the center of the room. The floor also shimmered as if a hologram was embedded there. The room is surrounded by glass walls. Across the glass, looks lined shops in dimness. The sea horses glowed bluish down and back. Knee-high seaweed adults submerge part of the wall.
"So, how? Forward or back down?" Gafrillo looked back and forth in turn. Some floors have been flooded.
Kelana shrugged her shoulders. He himself was confused as to which one to choose. They get lost deeper. Kelana did not expect the place she visited could be so wide. Somehow it would have been if Gafrillo and Aeneas were not with him. Honestly, Kelana was getting scared.
While the two were in a dilemma, Aeneas ran straight. Hearing Aeneas' bare feet, Gafrillo turned his head, then quickly followed.
"Aeneas! Oh, that kid!" Gafrillo.
Running behind him. They seemed to be chasing each other, crossing the vast hall. Kelana's eyes move restlessly. On the right side, a giant snake the size of a nyiur swam slowly. His body splashed a flash of electricity. While on the left side, there were two crocodiles three times the length of the adults were fighting. They have a sting tail like a scorpion.
Jellyfish kept their distance, scattered here and there, illuminating the darkness, like lanterns floating in the depths of the night. Each fauna they encounter always has its own light source. The seaweed outside even shines like phosphorus that glows in the dark.
Kelana Hearts pounding. He was worried that the large animals would see them, then break the wall.
Aeneas kept running. He heard. Something bigger was chasing them, swimming between the sunken floors, destroying some of the walls that were too narrow for his overgrown body.
Unfortunately, the creature was faster than their running speed. It was right under the floor where they were running. Floor shaking. All three fell. Surface cracks. Water seeped from the cracks, while the tiles in front of Aeneas ambrol, as if they had just punched an omnipresent hand.
The sound is deafening, making Kelana's heart beat faster. Something streaked lightning from the crack, dragging Aeneas to disappear from Kelana and Gafrillo's sight.
"Aeneas!" Gafrillo shouted, failing to reach the son's body.
