Santri Famiglia's
Psychogenic Fever

Aeneas stared intently at Anki and Eiji. The blond man had met Anki before this, but he did not recognize her now. Moreover, with Eiji who was the first time he saw. The focus last night was only on the son.

He did not pay much attention to anyone who came with Sanubari. When she gets word that Sanubari is about to arrive with eight people who may need prompt treatment, Kelana immediately contacts the largest hospital in Verona. He told some doctors to stand by. He also requested separate treatment for Sanubari, who he said was critical.

By the time he and Aeneas arrived at the hospital, Eiji and Hanan had already been taken by doctors to be treated. While the ambulance carrying Sanubari arrived later, almost simultaneously with Kelana finished parking the car.

He and Aeneas ran. They follow the nurse who drives the Sanubari cage. Trying to remember the events of that time.

"Ah, you're the girl who wanted to come here last night?"

Anki smiling. He nodded for sure, glad Kelana could recognize him.

"We're friends of Sanubari. We want to see him."

After that, they fell silent. Aeneas was only silent, while Kelana was troubled. Since Sanubari's whereabouts were kept secret, he couldn't tell. Although they claim to be acquaintances of Sanubari, Kelana is not sure that many who know his existence are good.

However, the fact that these youngsters got to this floor made him feel pointless hiding it. Without even being told, they might come back here to search for Sanubari themselves later.

"Young Master! The cry was heard after the sound of a break.

So rowdy. Debuman followed later, followed by a raucous shout, "Go!"

"That seems to be Sanu's voice," Anki's inner voice.

Aeneas was surprised to hear that voice. He turned around without a word. Just now Aeneas started running, but Sanubari emerged from the corner.

The teenager hit the wall in front of him hard as he just ran straight, to the point of bouncing backwards and falling flat on his back. Two men in black clothes appeared a moment later.

Kelana, Anki, and Eiji came running over. Two men in black helped Sanubari wake up. However, Sanubari rebelled. He thrashed.

"No want! Help me!" Sanubari continued to repeat the concoction not clear.

"Sanu, what's wrong?" Anki sits next to Sanubari.

His gaze shone with concern. A friend who had saved him, who seemed fine before, had now become like this.

"No way!" That's all that came out of Sanubari's mouth. Empty look. He also does not talk.

"Reply bring it back to his room!" Kelana's orders were directly obeyed by two men who flanked Sanubari.

Then, he blocked Anki and Eiji who were about to follow. "You see for yourself, don't you? Sanubari is in a state of incontrovertibility. You guys better get back down now!"

Aeneas left them. Anki can only see the departure of the blond man along with two other men who brought Sanubari. Kelana really didn't let him through. He stretches out his arms as Anki tries to advance.

"Come on!" Eiji pulls Anki's hand.

"But, Sister ...." Anki was still looking towards Sanubari's departure.

"Later on!" persuade Eiji while pulling Anki into the elevator.

Kelana called the doctor while watching two young men who were away. Not long after, the doctor and two male nurses arrived.

They ran to Sanubari's room. After seeing the condition of Sanubari, the doctor told one of the nurses to take medical supplies.

The doctor's forehead is wrinkled. Supposedly, the infusion needle will not cause such a wound if accidentally unplugged or forcefully removed normally.

The doctor wiped the wound with a cotton swab that had been moistened with antiseptic. He also rubbed the flowing blood, then covered the wound with a medical plaster.

A nurse and two of Aeneas' men help the struggling Sanubari. The doctor tried to get Sanubari to speak. However, the teenager simply growled, shouted, raved, or said unrelated things in response. Sanubari absolutely cannot be invited to communication.

Even the name itself does not answer. He just stared Ling lung around with blank eyes.

A few minutes later, the nurse came by pushing the trolley with something needed. The doctor took an injection and a bottle of liquid. He injected it into Sanubari's body after moving its contents into an injection tube.

Sanubari gradually calmed down. He blinked a few times before finally falling asleep.

The nurse placed a fastener on Sanubari's body. It was to anticipate that Sanubari would not hurt himself if at any time awake and become wild.

"Let's come to my room! I'll explain how your son is!"

The doctor moved from his seat. He walked out. Aeneas and Kelana followed. The three headed downstairs.

In the doctor's room, Aeneas and Kelana were sitting at the table. The doctor looks for a map in a pile of documents before speaking.

"The "high fever suffered by the young master is not caused by the virus at all. The lab results did not detect any indication of that. You can check it yourself." The doctor handed Aeneas a copy of his documents.

"Until now there is no significant decline, either" he continued.

"Then, why is he like that? The doctor won't tell you if the young master is being patronized or used to it, will he?" kelana asked while looking at the writings on the paper. There is a line of numbers describing Sanubari's previous body temperature of forty-two point five degree Celsius, now it is forty-two degree Celsius.

"It's not like that. Ordinary medicines hardly work. It's likely that the young master has a psychogenic fever."

"Psychogenic fever?" Kelana raised her head.

Aeneas is still down. He read line by line.

"Yes. Fever triggered by high stress levels. Usually, people who have this fever will have a low-grade fever, but the case of this young master is the opposite. I have also heard from Damiyan. Before being brought here the young master was already treated by a doctor. If our medical efforts remain unsuccessful, it looks like we'll have to change methods."

"Do whatever it takes to heal my son."

"I'll try, but I'm not sure."

"You are a doctor. You should have, right?" Aeneas is forcing. He doesn't want to know. Either way, Sanubari must be healed.

"I am a doctor, but not a god. The fever of the young master triggers a decrease in consciousness. He is currently in the delirium phase. You could say, his body was indeed awakened, but his soul was locked under his own subconscious."

"What does that mean?" Just this time, Aeneas heard that the body could awaken, even though the soul was asleep. The soul could lock onto its own consciousness—that description sounded unreasonable in his ears.

"You saw it yourself, didn't you? He was not able to communicate at all. His eyes were open, but it could be that what he saw was not the same as what we saw."

"Sort of hallucinations?" Kelana was about to call crazy. However, his mind quickly changed the word so as not to escape his mouth. He felt that one word seemed very demeaning. Aeneas would probably have chopped it off if he got stuck.

"really. If his consciousness continues to decline, medical drugs will not be useful. But, young master it seems there is still hope. The brain and other organs are good. No damage is usually found in patients who have decreased consciousness. Let's see until tomorrow how it goes."
