Santri Famiglia's
Lycaon Offensive

The wooden board becomes the connecting path between the tree house to the other tree house. Glass walls protect the footing from the tempiyas of rainwater. On the roof of one of the houses, a red columbus monkey sat down while eating.

"I–it?"

Sanubari pointed upwards. The atmosphere in this inn was not only natural, but closer to the wild.

The inn staff looked up, then said casually, "Oh, that. Here it is often seen animals roam, but no need to worry. All of the tree houses here are built with sturdy materials, as well as soundproofing layers. So, you can rest in peace. So, you want to take the stairs or the elevator?"

"I want to try the elevator" Renji said.

"Then, follow me!"

Only Sanubari, Fukai, and Renji followed the staff. Certainly, Fukai did not want to bother climbing the stairs while carrying a suitcase. He explained how the elevator worked. While others climb the stairs.

"If you want to listen to the sound of nature, you can shift this."

The inn staff explained while sliding one of the walls. Instantly, the whirring of the wind, the pounding of the waves, the loudness of the rain sounded. He walked to the porch. The place can also be opened. Including the outer protective glass if you want to interact with animals that stop by.

After explaining everything, the staff left. Sanubari kept quiet in the bathroom. Then, he exited the tree house, ran down the stairs, went in again, came out again.

"What's wrong with that kid?"

Renji who saw him felt dizzy. They were all gathered on the first floor, dividing up anyone who would occupy the ground and top floors.

"Ask her son directly!"

Eiji shrugged his shoulders. Sanubari's behavior was considered normal. A year with Sanubari is enough to memorize his habits. The child can not be silent, although sometimes like to complain this/it.

Not long after, Sanubari appears again. Just one step inside, his body was dazed. The loud thud made everyone aghast. Sai and Fukai immediately got up, approaching Sanubari.

"My body cannot be moved" Sanubari said.

Not only that, the pain that tormented her relapsed. Cold sweat. As powerful as he could, he held it.

Fukai and Sai pushed Sanubari into bed. The young man was completely limp. His dragged legs even made the room sandals he was wearing come off. They laid Sanubari to bed.

"Why did you go up/down like that? Less work! It's like this, right?"

Fukai glanced at the clock. Fewer, but he decided to take Sanubari's medicine.

"Finally, I was curious about the toilet, as well as the power source of this tree house. How many times have I observed, I still could not find the sewer pipe and the cable. So where are all the dirt and water going?"

Sanubari's explanation made everyone look at him with an expression that was difficult to describe. Just stay occupied, but Sanubari want to think about things that are not important.

"This must be the man's design. He is famous for mixing mechanisms with nature" replied Abrizar who seemed to understand Sanubari's intentions.

"This house is really like a part of the tree itself that is given a cavity" said Sanubari.

Fukai returned to the Sanubari side with a sandwich, medicine, and a bottle of mineral water. He helped her sit up and leaned to the edge of the cot.

"Don't think of anything unimportant! Eat this and take your medicine!"

Fukai feeds Sanubari and helps her take medicine. He also examined Sanubari's entire body, making sure there were no new injuries from the fall. Sanubari screamed every time Fukai moved his body. The feeling was getting stronger to beyond the limits of his ability to withstand.

"Just rest!"

Fukai laid Sanubari back down. Eiji, Sai, and Renji were stunned. At least, they understood why Sanubari was shouting at the house at that time. Apparently, it was not because of torture.

"Sanu, you've really tricked me. You said it was okay. But, in fact, your condition is far from good."

The next morning, Sanubari, Abrizar, and Fukai board a ferry. They crossed over to the island of Zanzibar. Compared to the Mafia islands, Zanzibar is more crowded. He headed straight for Jozani.

The white wood tree line filled the land. His trunk straight up to the sky. Colorful glistening in the sunlight.

Black, white, blue, pink—the colors are partially swirling around the tree. A pair of blue wings flew low, perched on Sanubari's nose.

"I've never seen so many butterflies."

It was so many that the entire forest seemed to be filled with insects. There are no trees that butterflies do not inhabit. Sanubari let the blue wing with its stripes and black tip perch in place. She smiles.

"This is a real butterfly farm."

Wherever Fukai looked, there were always butterflies back and forth or alight on the blooming flowers. It was like visiting a butterfly house.

"We have to go deeper into this forest" Abrizar asked after checking his phone.

"Is that allowed? It's like a protected forest area" asked Fukai observing around, worried in case anyone heard them.

"Just ignore the others! Importantly, keep it running normally like a tourist in general and do not damage the ecosystem!"

Abrizar smile. He stepped first. The butterfly in Sanubari's nose flew when she sneezed. The young man followed Abrizar, followed by Fukai behind him.

Sanubari looked to the right and left. The more inward, the flora and fauna are increasingly diverse. Black and white woolly columbus apes hanging. They were watching over Sanubari and the others.

Sanubari was worried that they would suddenly attack. However, Abrizar remained calmly walking the lead, following the navigation on the phone.

Ten minutes walking, they arrived at a somewhat open area. Dozens of African wild dogs or painted wolves come in the way. The legs are four-fingered, caramelized in some species and completely black in other herds, his voice more like giggling laughter or chirping—clearly it was a pictus lycaon despite its appearance similar to a hyena.

Abrizar, Sanubari, and Fukai stopped. The lycaons stared at them intensely. Their distinctive sounds filled the eardrums of the explorers.

"Why do I feel ridiculed by these strange creatures."

Sanubari was a bit confused to call it. In his eyes, it was like a dog, but it was slightly less suitable when juxtaposed with the dog he knew. Then, one by one of the lycaons sneezed with their unique sounds.

"Walk slowly to another empty area!" abrizar's instructions while slowly retreating and walking like a crab.

He did not know as wild as to what the quite terrible tickling animals were. So, it is better to avoid than unwanted things.

However, they had not been able to get away, the herd of lycaons jumped towards them. Sanubari spontaneously shouted and nodded.

Abrizar swiftly raised the staff, repelling the lycaon that was about to pounce on Sanubari. He continued kicking, swinging the baton to throw down those who were trying to get close.

"Sanu!"

Fukai approaching Sanubari. The young man sat on a pile of moist, dry leaves. Sanubari's heart beats more wildly. Almost, the claws of a lycaon hit his face.

Abrizar changed his mind. He immediately shouted, "I'll open the way. Hurry up and run as fast as you can!"

The lycaons are tough. They were quick to stand even though they had been hit hard by Abrizar. Obviously, the conditions were unfavorable for Abrizar and his friends. They had to escape from the siege of this African wild dog.

Fukai helped Sanubari stand up. Both of them ran away from Abrizar. Unfortunately for the blind man, a lycaon managed to bite his right calf.

Abrizar. He electrocuted the lycaon with a moderate voltage. Lycaon's making weird noises. Some of the lycaons are after Sanubari and Fukai.

Abrizar hurried after Lycaon released him. He hits every lycaon that gets in the way. Blood seeped from his trousers. Although painful, he tried to catch up with the others while beating up the lycaons.
