Santri Famiglia's
Warm Greetings

Entering the house, it turns out the inside can be very bright. The building has curved walls, making it look like half a cupped tube.

The kiwano-shaped lights are split in rows on the right and left sides. Light shot out from the cleavage, spreading throughout the room.

The carpet stretches on the left side with an elongated wooden table legged like a rooted tree trunk. On the right side, line up four oval doors with dark wood brown color. While the walls, floor, and roof are lighter colored like the middle of the trunk.

The room is elongated without a bulkhead. The kitchen area until it is visible from where they stand. In front of the entrance, there is a sink and a place to wash your feet and hands. They take off their shoes, go up to that level, then clean themselves. The place was only limited to a half-body wooden wall from the carpet. On it, line up fresh and fragrant scented plants, becoming a natural room freshener.

Exit to the right, there is a rack resembling a wooden rod where put the slippers of the room. Unfortunately, there are only two. No one among them was wearing it.

Up one more rung of stairs, the floor is different from before. The place was covered in wood covered in glass fibers.

"The house is unique. It was like going into a tree trunk," Sanubari commented.

The furniture also looks classic. The touch of nature is everywhere.

"I like to blend in with nature" Fanon said.

"This is awesome! I can't believe there's a mansion in the middle of the woods."

Sanubari's eyes moved here and there, not missing a single detail. Elegance emanated from any side, even though nothing seemed luxurious. However, it was enough to be said to be luxurious in the eyes of Sanubari.

"It's just a simple house." Fanon laughing.

"Gluxiness in simplicity. It's more than just fancy."

Sanubari unceasingly gave praise. Fanon took them deeper. He put three kiwano on the kitchen table, then opened the door nearby.

"It's the toilet." Then, he opened the door next to her. "This is the bathroom. Take a shower first! There were towels and clothes inside. Dirty clothes, just put them in the basket! I'll wash them tomorrow."

As agreed, Fukai took the first bath, then Abrizar, then Sanubari. While Abrizar and Sanubari waited in the front seat of the kitchen, Fanon cut the kiwano and presented it to the table.

"Eat this while you wait! It's delicious," he smiled broadly.

Sanubari took it for Abrizar with a small bowl made of coconut shell before taking it for himself. The forks they wore were made of wood, with the end of a leaf-shaped handle.

"Hum, this is sweet, a little sour. Um, it tastes like a banana, but like there's a lemon flavor, too. Ah, I confusedly called it."

Sanubari feeds another piece, deepening the taste. The fruit is rich in water like watermelon. Sometimes it feels like melon or cucumber.

Meanwhile, Fanon cooks dinner. The dish was finished when the four finished their bath. Fanon serves the dish to the table. The stomach platters on the table, looked like a pile of leaves.

At that time, Fukai was treating Sanubari's wounds. The sleeves of the shirt and trousers were raised so Fukai could attach the new plaster. Among the three, Sanubari who appeared to have more injuries.

"You were attacked by a beast like that?" ask Fanon after putting down the last glass.

"Only animals like deer with zebra-like skin" Fukai replied while clinging to the plaster.

"Oh, it's probably a bongo. Were you attacked by a bunch of bongos? Thats odd. It's not usually bongo herds attack humans."

"Only one. While the others stay away. But, Sanu's skin becomes more sensitive because the pain has not healed completely. So, even a light touch of gravel can scratch the skin until it bleeds like this, and will not close in just one or two days," Fukai explained.

"What pain? Does Sanu have a blood disorder that makes it hard for his blood to clot?" search Fanon.

"No. Someone poisoned him with a highly virulent artificial virus. He was in a coma. Now, he's on medication," Fukai said pasting the last plaster.

"If you're done, let's eat first! We continue the conversation after the stomach is full!"

Fanon is very interested in the virus being touted. He wanted to hear more, but warm food was waiting. It would be a pity if they were allowed to cool down just because of a chat.

"Is this fried noodles? It tastes different from spaghetti in Italy and instant noodles in Indonesia. Japanese is not like this. There's corn in it. Sweet and savory."

Sanubari twirled the fork, stuffing a roll of noodles into the mouth. When chewing was intentionally prolonged for the sake of sipping the taste.

"It was indeed pasta from corn. Name ugalini. Your tongue is sharp too, Sanu!"" answer Fanon.

"I'm sorry for my friend's preemptive gaiety" Fukai said after seeing Sanubari quickly fill his plate. He himself had not touched the plate because Fanon had not yet taken the dish.

"Luck it! Don't be so formal! Call me FAnon and consider me your own friend! Let's take it all! If you need to, spend it all!" fanon raised his right hand, hinting at his guests to turn the plate immediately.

Sanubari punctured a fry that felt soft on the inside, but crisp on the outside. Again, he found the taste of corn in it, but there was no texture of corn there.

"Then, what is this? Corn pedal?"

Sanubari lifting fork. At the end, stick a half-bitten fried food.

"That's Zambuza, made of cornstarch."

"Well, Mr. Kora loves corn, huh? All the corn."

"Specialty food here is mostly made of corn flour. It's a staple here."

Sanubari mangosteen heard Fanon's reply. Next, they eat quietly. Sanubari adds twice with each full plate.

Finished eating, he also tainted some zambuza. Meanwhile, Fanon moves the remaining ugalini onto the stove and Fukai helps her wash the dishes.

Fanon asked a lot about the virus. Fukai and Abrizar told them everything they knew.

"Some of the richest countries in Africa also began to contract strange diseases. Initially, some diagnosed it as a sleep disease, but it was not that simple. Then came the announcement. But, the cure here is much more expensive than you call it. Is the outbreak on this continent related to the case in Indonesia?" ask Fanon after hearing all.

"It can be" answered Abrizar briefly.

"Oh, yes. You said that Sanu treated himself because the dose was too high. So, you guys got the antidote? Is it really that expensive to produce?"

Fanon looked at Fukai and Abrizar expectantly. He felt lucky, his unexpected guests carrying information that seemed valuable.

"I'm not part of the research team. So, less know."

Fukai shrugged his shoulders. He dried his hands before joining the others at the dining table.

Sanubari is just a listener. He enjoys his time tearing it up.

"If it's cheaper, I'll buy it. Some of my friends need that. I hope you can tell me about that information."

"If there's an internet or a cross-country communication tool here, I can try asking you right now."

Fukai felt pity. If they had indeed been exposed to that artificial virus, they would definitely not have had a long time. Delay will make everything too late.

"certainly exists. Borrow your cell phone for a second!"

Fanon is pleased to be getting that valuable information soon. Once Fukai's phone was in hand, he immediately connected to a network that could only be detected with special techniques. Then, he returned the phone to Fukai.

As Fukai contacted someone, Fanon asked, "By the way, you said that this afternoon you were looking for somewhere around here. What kind of place are you looking for? Just tell me, I'll take you to be safer!"

"We're looking for you, Fanon Sangkora."

Abrizar's unexpected confession instantly stunned Fanon. The curvature of the smile on Fanon's lips in an instant turned into a flat line. His friendly gaze turned into a sharp gaze full of suspicion.
