Santri Famiglia's
The Collision of Two Iron Snakes

The manometer shows the number eight. That means, the air pressure in the train is normal. Mitsuki did not check his combat equipment before leaving. He only reflexively pulled the door closing lever once it made it into the cabin.

This is an emergency departure. He did not have time to check the qualifications as good machinists should. Without doing so he believes Japanese trains are always in top condition.

The man sat in the driver's cabin, controlling a metal snake that was ringing smoothly down the dark alley. Fiddled with whatever was there, deliberately turning off the signal to central control.

He focused on driving while paying attention to the route plastered on the onboard screen. The red light is on. The train has passed two stops, but currently the train is not close to any station. A red dot was moving towards him in one lane.

"Wire, this train is about to collide," he murmured, ending in a vexation.

With the signal down, the train from the front will not know the position of this train. Except, the train was already at a distance that was difficult to avoid. Emergency system activated. Train stops. Mitsuki opened one side of the rear carriage. In a hurry, he ran.

The impromptu stop left Sanubari sitting in the passenger car with Anki and Abrizar confused. He looked back, then forward again.

"Dark. This isn't a station, but why stop?"

The question was answered when Mitsuki moved closer to them and exclaimed, "We must get out of here! This train is gonna collide."

Everyone gasped at the passing Mitsuki. The curious Sanubari hurried to his feet and caught up. He asked, "How can it be? This train just stopped."

"This train does stop, but not with the train at the end there," Mitsuki said, pointing her thumb back.

Anki stood up, took Abrizar and followed the two. Without being asked, Abrizar replied, "Mitsuki was right. Two trains are coming here."

Abrizar could hear. One was very close, while the other was still quite far away. "Less than a minute the train from the front will arrive" he continued.

"What?" Anki looked over in disbelief with glaring eyes.

"You hear that, Sanu? It looks like Abri can predict the time we have" Mitsuki said.

They reached the carriage where three men dressed in all black were unconscious. Mitsuki put on a wary eye. He stopped, then after a quick glance turned around, he said, "Anki, you first!"

Anki nodded. "Sister Abri, a little jump!" he said while doing the same.

"Uncle, wake!"

"Sanu, what are you doing?" mitsuki's snapping is inexhaustible.

"Pity them if they remain left here.

"Leaveit! We don't have much time. Why take care of criminals?"

"Whoever they are, this man is still human. Man has a right to live."

Sanubari really could not bear to let them pass out in the train that he said would be hit. I don't know what happens when they are completely abandoned. Anki and Abrizar are still waiting.

Seeing Sanubari's intentions, Anki's heart was moved. He let go of Abrizar's hand, to help Sanubari. Not yet had the intention materialized, a loud bang was heard. The body of the train shook, the train was pushed back. Until finally, the carriages that linked to each other came out of the tracks, floundering like eels lifted from the water.

The outside of the train hit the hallway wall very hard, causing some of the glass to crack, and others to break apart. The same thing happened to the train on the other side where more people were. Everything was hysterical, the fog fluttered with a sudden shock.

The driver was shaking violently. There was no warning on the navigation screen. The red light is not on. The screen only shows the train it controls. There are no other trains running in one lane.

He thought he was sleepy when he saw a small speck of light from a distance. At first, he thought it was light from a nearby platform. However, it's not like that. The driver blinked his eyes repeatedly. He had not expected that there would be another train ahead. Emergency mode has been activated. Unfortunately, the braking did not work out in time

The two iron snake muzzles sat on each other, pushing the one that was no longer moving. That hard impact created a spark.
