Looking for Sanubari

"This place may be safe, but I want you to keep it until it heals, and make sure this doesn't happen again!"

Damiyan replied in silence. He just gave a slow blow in response, not knowing what else to say.

The morning meeting was very short. There's not much Aeneas wants to talk about. He just wanted to hear a direct explanation for what happened from Damiyan's mouth, then immediately returned to the hospital.

"What's? Try looking for one more time! Sanubari arrived with us last night. Nurse took. There's no way Sanubari wasn't treated here!" Anki widened her eyes.

Eiji was as surprised as Anki. He half-believed hearing the hospital staff's statement. When Sanubari was taken away, she was receiving treatment. So, Eiji did not know who had brought him.

"You can see it for yourself! Sanubari's name is really not listed as a patient in this hospital." The receptionist turned the monitor towards Anki as the girl remained adamant.

The search results are completely empty. There's only a line of words that mean 'Not found.'. Anki silenced for a moment.

"Maybe he wasn't treated under the name Sanubari. Since we were treated separately and Sanubari was unconscious, it is possible that the nurse described him as an unknown patient. Please check the data of the patients who entered the ER last night! I'm sure one of them is our friend," Eiji tried to reveal his conjecture.

He hopes to get a bright spot with this. Anki didn't think until there. However, she believes her brother's analysis has a point.

The monitor is back. The receptionist deftly checks the recap of the requested data.

"Emergency patient data from May four at seventeen, to May five this morning totaled two patients. On behalf of Shiragami Eiji, and Hananta Syaifullah."

"There again?" Eiji tried to make the receptionist talk more.

Unfortunately, all he got was a headband and two words, "Nothing."

"Isn't this weird? Brother and Hanan alone registered as patients. Why not Sanubari? Not in his own name. Not in the name of an anonymous person."

Eiji turned to the girl next to him who was monologuing. The girl crossed her arms, lowered her head, not knowing what she was staring at down there.

Actually, the weird ones aren't just that. If only Eiji himself and Hananta were registered as patients, why would everyone get food rations? Such a question could only be a quiet Eiji for now.

Suddenly, Anki turned to Eiji. "Do you know Sanubari's full name? Or maybe another name?"

Eiji tried to remember. The name of the teenager slicing those green eyes was very short. Just one word—Sanubari. Not more. Not less. It was impossible for him to forget that simple name.

He's been investigating. That's Sanubari's real name. From birth until now, there was no history of name changing that he could find. So, in response to his sister's question, Eiji could only shake his head.

Anki grunting. But he hasn't given up. He tried to express all the possible probabilities.

"Maybe the name was written in another language. Like, Heart, Kokoro, or maybe Italian from sanubari ...."

Patiently, the receptionist served Anki. So many experiments passed, and all they found was naughtiness. Eiji and Anki were forced to leave the service center with disappointment.

"Why should we part ways like this?" Anki was weaving her thin lips.

The two stood in front of the elevator, waiting for the shiny door to open. When thinking about the condition of Sanubari, suddenly clear circle freefall.

Eiji glanced at his melancholy-looking sister. He reflexively put his hands over his sister's head.

"Why crying?"

"What if Sanu turns out to be already ...." The clear threads were hardened uncontrollably.

"What already? Don't think shit! She must be okay. Let's ask Abri! Maybe he knows something." Eiji ruffled his sister's hair.

Although Eiji had only known Sanubari not long ago, but he also did not want his sister's thoughts to be real. He has not been able to thank Sanubari properly. Uncontrollable, Eiji suddenly imagined a morgue, a quiet room, a gloomy room, a room with branches covered in white cloths.

The sound of clanking obliterated the shadow. Eiji was quick to deny and throw away such a delusion. With Anki, she walks into the elevator.

Shortly before the door closed, two men came in. The black-haired man pressed the button, then shifted to the left with the blond man. He shifted a little away from the door because he saw the number Anki pressed was the floor before his goal.

The brothers could not hide their surprise when they saw the blond man who was now one box with them. It's easy to remember. The man really resembled Sanubari with a more firm and mature facial contour. The only difference is in their hair.

"Aeneas Baldovino Gafrillo or Bari?" Eiji coined the two names. He's stuck in his place.

Data about Sanubari's father Bari and Gafrillo swirled around in his head. He seemed to be walking on a rope of worry. The information in his memory felt ambiguous. Video from Anki, Sanubari's birth records, as well as the fact that the person next to him is no different from Gafrillo when viewed up close.

The clang is heard again. The door is wide open. However, until the door recoiled, none of them came out.

Anki and Eiji were immersed in each other's thoughts. Awkwardness envelops Anki, perhaps even Eiji.

Anki wanted to say hello and ask. However, doubt made his intention seem to be withdrawn.

One more clink makes the door shift. The two men came out. Anki comes out with Eiji. Inevitably, Eiji also offset his sister's steps.

The floor passageway was very quiet, as if the rooms were deliberately emptied. Their steps are quite light. So, there is not too much noise that echoes. Eiji and Anki followed the two men.

Not surprisingly, the black-haired man stopped. Anki stopped too. Eiji also automatically stopped. The man accompanying the blonde man turned around.

"Why are you here?"

There was no one but them there. Clearly, the question was addressed to the silent Anki and Eiji.

"If you get lost, there's a digital map," he continued, pointing in one direction.

The blond man continued walking a few steps. However, he stopped when he realized his assistant had stopped. She's looking. His gaze was rubbed with Anki.

"Uncle, blond uncle must be Sanubari's brother, right?" Finally, Anki ventured. His gaze passed by the black-haired man, fixed on the green-eyed sliced man. This might be his chance to find Sanubari. Anki clasped her brother's hand tightly to divert the doubt.
