Endless darkness continues in Sanubari's day. The anxiety shook his body. Sanubari shivered in the middle of a world without light.
Mentally and physically tired undergoing a similar turn of events. That's how Sanubari felt, even though the actual wounds and pain only came from his mind. However, his consciousness thought it was all real. The ghosts are still chasing him. They can appear from anywhere, from places Sanubari cannot see.
"Sanu ...."
The sound is heard. The voice Sanubari seems to recognize. The teenager refused to listen to him. He tightly closed the ears with both palms, hiding the face between the bent legs.
By not looking, he hoped that the ghosts were also unaware of its existence. He did not want to experience unspeakable torture anymore. His soul suffered enough.
"Sanu, how long are you going to silence me like this?"
The voice softly pleaded, but Sanubari remained silent. Sanubari. Afraid that if he answered, the ghost would attack like before. He kept shaking his head.
"What kind of dream are you seeing now?"
The voice came again, bringing along a giggle of mist that slowly enveloped Sanubari. The pores all over his body shriveled violently, pierced by thousands of cold needles that caused a sensation of heat, itching, pain like being bitten by fire ants. It all feels sore. His hands could not resist scratching, clawing at his own skin roughly.
The movement carried on in the conscious body of Sanubari, although from outside the body Sanubari looks fine. Canda who witnessed it immediately held Sanubari's two hands.
"Don't! It could hurt you. What are you feeling?"
However, the voice did not reach Sanubari who was deep inside. Sanubari's hands were stiff, as if to rebel. Canda continued to hold him back, continuing to speak, until his sentence was again heard by Sanubari.
"If it's a good dream, don't drag on alone there! We're here to miss you."
Sanubari pressed his ears. The sound was so knowing. Suppose you can sleep and dream beautifully, Sanubari prefers to do it now, then never wake up forever.
However, the darkness is not like caffeine for Sanubari, causing insomnia for how long. Sanubari cannot count the time.
The fog thickened, blocking the sounds from outside, until finally the sound disappeared completely. Silence makes the atmosphere increasingly tense with the temperature continues to decline.
"sick." The word kept repeating from Sanubari's lips.
He sobs. One hand went down, holding the stomach wrapped around the pain. The excruciating pain made him sweat cold and shiver even more. Among his pains, Sanubari mentions his mother.
A very cold hand suddenly touched Sanubari's hand. Raising his head with great difficulty, Sanubari found Idris and Rudy.
"If it's a nightmare, let's face it together! They'll keep haunting you if they don't fight."
"The world is cruel and deceitful."
"Come with us."
It is unclear who is speaking. Although there were people nearby, but the voices felt overwhelming to Sanubari, as spoken from afar. Until finally, another hand touched his cheek.
"Sanu, leave all this behind! Let's be together again!"
That's mommy. His mother smiled, pointing up. Sanubari. Looks like a beautiful view over there.
The colorful trees stood quietly. Butterflies, birds, and other animals go back and forth. A baby was chasing them. That's sister.
The toddler laughed cheerfully running around here and there. The laughter, even the gurgling of water reached Sanubari's ears. The panorama above was like an oasis amidst the fog of despair. That was the calm Sanubari had hoped for.
Sanubari. The beauty gave strength to his body which momentarily fell into pain.
Honey, when he started to step, a giant arrow as big as a hoe broke into his stomach. Fog is divided into two sides—light and dark. The chain connected to the arrow pulled him to the dark side.
"You don't deserve it there."
"The fire of redemption is your home!"
Other voices echoed. Sanubari. The chain was very long, dangling down the abyss full of flames. Down there, people pulled him.
Sanubari is not like a fish caught in a fishing hook. His body kept being dragged. Sanubari hysterical, wailing.
"No! Not want!"
His voice was hoarse. His throat feels dry. Sanubari did not want to feel the heat burning.
Outside of Sanubari's subconscious, Canda tries to calm down. He hugged Sanubari who was about to run somewhere.
However, Sanubari's lower realms realized the treatment as something else. Deep inside, Sanubari was overlaid with a large rock that made him unable to escape. While his body continued to be dragged to the end of the abyss.
Canda didn't give up. He continues to try to reach Sanubari who unknowingly fortifies himself from the outside world. Canda continued to make soothing sentences, although most came to Sanubari in other forms.
"If something is weighing on your heart, tell it! Stories will be a strength for you." Canda was not pushy, but wanted Sanubari to open his heart so that the wedge in the heart could feel lighter.
The man did not let go of his embrace. Either this time his words can get to Sanubari or not.
"News?" One word was finally spoken from Sanubari's lips
Canda smile. The anticipated response finally arrived as well. Canda was sure eighty percent—this time, the sentence arrived correctly at Sanubari, unlike before who had somehow become what in Sanubari's mind.
Canda made use of the gap of the gate that opened a little. He injects positive things while Sanubari has not installed a sturdy fortress again.
After that, Sanubari felt exhausted. She's asleep. Canda returned the position of the bed that was originally held. He secured Sanubari's position before exiting.
"Grandfather, how's Sanu doing?" Zunta immediately ran to the front of Canda when she saw the man open the door.
"You can see it, but don't be noisy! Let Sanu rest in peace!" Canda smile.
Zunta was the first to enter the room with vigor. Aeneas deliberately let the young men precede him. As she and Kelana were about to catch up, Canda approached her.
"We'll talk here first!" The old man sat next to Aeneas.
"So, how's Sanu doing?" ask Aeneas.
"He's already started responding to the conversation."
That answer instantly stunned Aeneas and Kelana. During the waiting period, psychiatrists routinely treated Sanubari, but there was no development at all until Canda arrived. However, Canda can make progress in just one face-to-face. That was amazing.
"Sanu is back to how it was?" As a father, his happiness increased immeasurably after hearing the good news.
"Not yet, but I suggest outpatient at home only. It'll speed up his recovery."
"But the young master has been reluctant to return home since his mother died" Kelana said.
"I'm afraid he'll remember the tragedy of that night and hate me again." Aeneas.
"Are you guys fighting or having a problem?"
