The sun begins to shine in the eastern horizon of the earth, a sign that the day is now morning. Cigarette chickens wake people who are still asleep in their sleep. Carla awakens from her sleep and immediately heads to the bathroom to get ready for her school

“Carla hurry up, we can be late” shouted Mafalda best friend and roommate at the boarding place that was rented

“while” Carla yells back and immediately exits her room before Mafalda leaves her

They walked to the same school, but they were not in the same class. Carla was in the Language class while Mafalda was in the Ipa class. That day they were on time or rather right when the bell rang they reached the front of the school gate. Mafalda immediately ran towards her class as well as Carla

“thank goodness I'm not late again” muttered Carla upon entering her class

Carla walks towards her seat next to Olivia, and is right in front of Joshua's bench, a classmate who always makes silly jokes and also causes a commotion in the classroom. And Carla is also often the cause of one of those riots along with Joshua

“Carla” Joshua called him when the lesson had just begun

“I brought a poker card. Let's play” take him with a big smile

“Come!” carla exclaimed in excitement while Olivia and Jason, my friend Joshua just sighed in resignation by the behavior of their two friends



Joshua and Carla are busy with their own world while their teacher is explaining the lesson ahead. Without them knowing that the teacher knew that Carla and Joshua did not pay attention to his lessons without warning he immediately went to their seats

“what are you doing?!” snapped

A shocked Carla and Joshua immediately put their cards into their respective uniform pockets

“return notice lesson!” exclaim the teacher before returning to continue his lesson

While on the other hand Carla and Joshua actually laughed at whether what they thought was funny. Although only a slow giggle but the state of the class is quiet makes them very easy to get caught

“Carla, Joshua. Get out of my class now!!” the teacher shouted, which made Carla and Joshua go silent for a moment

After trying to apologize but to no avail, Carla and Joshua left the classroom and sat in the garden in front of their class. They talk to each other and as usual talk about silly jokes and will laugh together or rather Carla who will laugh until she holds her stomach

Just as they were still sitting in the park, Mafalda passed by in their classroom choir and saw Carla was outside the classroom

“Carla” Mafalda waves her hand at Carla who is still busy laughing “why aren't you in class?” tannya

Carla stopped her laughter with difficulty and walked towards Mafalda “I got the punishment along with Joshua” Carla replied

“who was it?” joshua asked as Carla approached him again

“Mafalda, my friend” replied Carla

“hey, can I have the phone number?” pinta Joshua's

“ask yourself” said Carla while sticking out her tongue

Unexpectedly Joshua immediately stood up from his seat and ran to Mafalda who had not had time to enter the classroom. Of course Mafalda immediately gave his mobile number because he knew that Joshua was a friend of his own best friend

A few weeks passed after Joshua asked for Mafalda's mobile number and lately he has also been asking Carla about things related to Mafalda. Carla, who does not know what Joshua means, tells her what she knows about Mafalda. Favorite color of his favorite goods and others

Until one day, Carla did not know why Joshua suddenly avoided her. She doesn't even talk to Carla at all even when Carla tries to ask her. She would turn her seat the other way as Carla tried to ask her something or get her to talk

“what really happened to you, huh?” ask Olivia at the end who knows Joshua's drastic change in attitude

And Joshua did not answer their questions at all

And a few days after that Carla only found out that Joshua had expressed his feelings for Mafalda, his own friend. It is undeniable that Carla feels sad because honestly she harbored feelings for Joshua for a long time. And he just realized why Joshua always asked about things related to Mafalda. Is it possible that it was also what made her avoid Carla all this time?

“wah, so you accepted it. Congratulations!” carla said with a cheerful laugh in front of Mafalda when her best friend told her that she had officially dated Joshua

“I think he likes you” said Mafalda who made Carla pause for a moment

“of course not. We are just regular friends” he said

Carla left for school as usual although Mafalda had left first because she woke up late this morning. Until the class in finding Joshua who has changed again like before, Joshua who is jovial and always tells jokes silly jokes

“so you avoided me these few days because you've been dating Mafalda?” carla asked when they had returned to being the culprit of the commotion in the classroom

“ha? Eum-I just. Well hm” replied Joshua puzzled over Carla's question

“hahaha oh yes, congratulations ya!” said Carla who saw the confusion on Joshua's face
