BETWEEN YOU HE AND ME

BETWEEN YOU HE AND ME
the POV Tristan

"Prophey, honey. Abba knows you're strong" I always say to my wife in sympathy. I feel guilty not being able to help much when my wife is in big trouble. He was accused of embezzling money from the company he worked for. I know and understand the nature of my wife who never intended to harm others, even often became a victim for helping others. His high social spirit made him entangled in this matter.

I can only help as much as possible by always supporting her so as not to feel alone, even though now her closest friend cannot be by her side. I did all of this at the request of his lawyer. The problem becomes more complicated when he will be taken to the office of corruption eradication (KPK). However, I and the Ganjar team who are his lawyers can still hold him back from being taken to the KPK. All financial transactions I block, and the phone that goes to him I tapped so as not to happen anything unwanted.

I love my wife so much. She is a tough woman who does not give up easily in difficult circumstances though, and can always smile even though the circumstances are not good. Other people would not think that he was in trouble because he never showed his fear in front of others. That's what made me fall in love since we were in college. I admired her attitude and nature long ago, but it was a pity that she had married someone else after I graduated college first. However, now I get it back even though the situation and conditions are different. My love is still the same as before.

"Wake up sweetheart, breakfast first yuk," I said waking my wife up gently. I always showed her tenderness so she would feel comfortable by my side. "Abba's already ordered food for our breakfast. Abba has to go to the office soon. You're fine here. If you get bored, just go for a walk."

"I want to go home, Ba" answered my wife.

"Don't you, baby. Patience first yes. There comes a time when we have to be more patient now" I said trying to calm his heart.

My wife just smiled listening to me. I know what she's hiding behind her smile. However, I tried to be indifferent so that there was no debate that could vent our frustration. I always tried to calm his heart so that he could focus more on solving the case that happened to him.

"Well, yes" I said goodbye to my wife. My wife just smiled and replied, "Abba promised to come home soon huh."

I went to Ganjar's office to ascertain how far my wife's case had progressed. However, my focus remains on my wife. Shortly after, I called her to take her to lunch.

"Hallo" he answered when I called him.

"Why?" my many.

"Ih, that's weird," she replied, not finishing her words. "Here you go, forget it."

"Abba's already ordered food for mom there. Don't forget to eat yes" I told my wife.

"Repot-repot, Ba. I'm not mah" he replied.

"Mom should eat without Abba. You need to be healthy" I told my wife. "Have you gone for a walk yet?"

"Ga, Ba. Lazy out of the room," he answered.

"Keep again what?" my many. "Definitely think about Abba again."

"Didih, GR," he answered.

"Calm down, just go home so I have friends in the room" I told her.

"Yes, I'm waiting" he replied. I hung up the phone and headed straight to Ganjar's office. There was a development in what made him call me to his office. I also want to investigate myself by asking my wife's closest friend to uncover who is behind this problem.

"Hello, Njar," I said as I entered his office.

"Oh, how's Dian doing now?" ask Ganjar.

"Gue was worried about it going on" I replied. "He's getting more closed now. What's up, call me?"

"Gue's confused, Tris. My team's having a hard time finding any trace of the perpetrator. It is likely that within two to three days your wife will be taken into KPK custody" Ganjar explained.

"Duh, Njar," this news shocked me as if the sky had fallen on my body. "Gue please, Njar, I pay whatever you want, I can't bear to see my wife in custody. He's not an inmate."

"It's not a matter of pay, Tris. It's just complicated," said Ganjar. "Like the perp knows that we're watching him."

"What's your move now?" my many. "Pity my wife, Njar. I can't bear it anymore, especially yesterday when I moved him, he was getting moody. I don't understand what he means, doesn't he know that my wife just came out of her tough time?"

"What do you mean?" ask Ganjar.

"Dian, before I married her, she was already married to her boss' driver who was later divorced due to a mistake that I myself did not understand her story. Even until now he has not met both parents and has not been able to make up with them," I explained.

"It's complicated as well" Ganjar said. "Gue salute your wife. He can get through the weird process of life."

"And now he has to experience the cruel and inappropriate slander" I told Ganjar. "Gue believes my wife is innocent because I understand her nature, Njar."

"But the evidence points to your wife, Tris," Ganjar explained.

"That's why I'm here to help elo. You must have a justification," I said.

"Here is God, Tris. Pray for me" said Ganjar.

"Surely," we fell silent as we looked up at the ceiling. What else am I supposed to do for my wife? Almost frustrated I made it.

"There's a call to your wife, Tris," Ganjar said. "Do you know whose number this is? Even sent a message."

I checked from Ganjar's computer all the messages my wife read and the phone numbers that came in. I just found out that her ex-husband is still calling my wife. When I found out, I was angry, did my wife still like to be in touch with her ex behind me? My chest rumbled with anger.

"Eh, look at Tris," Ganjar showed a picture from a CCTV camera installed in my wife's office, "Lo know who she is?"

"Lo calls Dian, ask him to come here, when there's a bright spot that can show you the real evidence."

"Hallo, honey," I unceremoniously called my wife who she answered immediately. "You go to Ganjar's office, Abba is here. Wear it more tightly so the media doesn't recognize you, ma'am."

The phone was switched off immediately, and perhaps Dian immediately rushed here to clarify someone who was in the CCTV office. For almost half an hour I waited for my wife, and she came and kissed my hand and shook hands with Ganjar.

"Where are we, any developments?" ask my wife to her lawyer.

"You see this?" said Ganjar while thrusting his work computer. "Please pay close attention, do not get me wrong because we will follow up with the KPK officers."

Dian watched the video from CCTV carefully, repeated up to three times. I patted him on the back, and he nodded at me with a sign that he could recognize the face of the man in the CCTV video.

"Mas, I know the man" he told Ganjar. "This channel connects to anyone's room, mas?"

"To all of your office space" he replied, "because the perpetrator was so clever, so he could have predicted all our avenues of investigation."

"Please send this to my boss," his instructions were directly carried out by Ganjar. "Mas, can it be directly confirmed to the KPK?"

"Can, Yan," replied Ganjar. The look of a glowing face after seeing the CCTV footage Ganjar showed him. "Abba," he screeches while holding my hand and kissing her.

"Alhamdulillah," I answered with joy.

"Later God gave me the best way" he said, hugging me tightly. "I'm happy, Abba."

"Don't be happy first, we should be able to find other evidence that refers more to the perpetrator," said Ganjar.

"But even this has made us optimistic" I said. "Because from here we'll know everything involved in this case."

"OK, I'll take care of everything" said Ganjar patting my arm. "We'll do the check tomorrow. For a while, you we hid first, Yan. Sorry, just for a while."

"Yes, my mother" answered with a smile.

"Okay, I'm saying goodbye," I told my old comrade-in-arms. "Thank you very much."

We also left my wife's law firm in the attire of *******. My wife came out the main door to our car.

"Well open, we're safe now" I told my wife.

"I'm relieved now, Ba," she told me with a slightly raised smile.

"Hallo," phone call on my phone. My mother called. "Don't, Ummi, Tristan and Dian are busy. We're not home either, Mi."

My mother wanted to visit us, but I didn't want to let my mother know what we were going through. I don't want to burden my mother's growing old mind.

"Why, Ummi?" my many.

"Ummi wants us, ma'am," I replied.

"Continue?" tukas. "I won't let Ummi know, Ba."

"Sama Abba too, ma'am," I said.

"How did it go?" ask my wife to make sure.

"Ga so, Abba said we were busy together at home" I replied.

"Ummi believe?" ask wife.

"While I believe, but I don't know later" I replied. "Ummi likes to be determined if you want to come here."

"I deg-degan so her, Ba," he told me.

"If Ummi is determined to come here, let Abba's business later" I replied to him. "Focus on solving your problems, be patient."

I was confused as to what to say if my mother had come here. With my situation as it is now, there are problems that come. Meanwhile, this one is not finished. Hadeeuuhhh, all this confused me. What am I supposed to do? I should be able to hide my ignorance in front of my wife, I don't want to add to her problems that it's obvious she's having a big problem.

"We're here, ma'am," I got out of the car and my wife. "Abba is ready to eat for us."

"When? When's message?" ask me.

"Let's see" I replied. "Yes, come in."

I took her into the room while we stayed here for a few days, until the mystery unfolded to the root. We sat in the pavilion, enjoying the beauty of the clear lake water illuminated by the moonlight, very beautiful and soothing when we saw it.
