Be My Soldier Forever

Be My Soldier Forever
Epilogues

Evan became a well-known writer in Los Angeles and here he was, at a Writer Award show with his award in hand.

A gold trophy certainly made her the center of attention tonight, along with his wife Cathy who was wearing a gold dress.

And Leo, he became a football champion and took the time to support his best friend and humiliated him a little by constantly whistling and cheering very loudly.

Life doesn't bring Evan to the dream, it's just that Evan has lost everything at one time and learned the life lessons he's been through.

Cathy is two months pregnant and Evan is very happy.

College was a tough time, Evan had a lot of difficulties but he could keep up with everything. He doesn't have many friends, but he's got Leo and that's more than enough, they're both roommates and they always complement each other.

His mother is getting treatment, he still can't talk much with her, he is having trouble taking classes and cleaning up after Leo and teaching her, there is no need to mention the number of women he is carrying.

He thanked Leo, however, because he was always there for him.

Cathy also has an excellent roommate named Lina who is now her fiance Leo because she is very fond of the woman, tall, sweet and pretty.

Lina came out of a wealthy family that invested in fashion so naturally, Lina became a very successful fashion designer and her clothes are one of the most recognizable and expensive.

The dress Cathy wore for the awards ceremony was specially designed for her by her best friend and she knows how to brag about it.

Returning to Evan, he made a genre book, Non-Fiction mixed with a little fiction, his first book was rejected by many companies and through many edits until finally, he received an award for the best writer category.

Evan knows what he writes, he writes about what he knows.

Schizophrenia, death, life choices, and the elements of happiness, Karma, Hope, and Faith.

His book, Karma, Hope and Faith: The Element of Happiness.

And now he's working on a sequel, Karma, Hope and Faith: The Circle of Life.

He kept it a secret, well, he's going to announce it tonight, because he just edited it.

"Gov! You're amazing, you've made everyone happy!" Leo cheered very loudly.

"Not really, I just received my award," Evan shrugged.

"You're a real party-goer" Leo kindly pushed her and Evan pushed her back, not caring about the public event they were participating in.

"Shut up, you two, I can't even listen to Cathy!" Linaa told them.

"Sorry, Lin," said Leo, seeing his fiancee getting angry.

"What about your naughty baby?" Lina glared at him for a moment, then ignored him and directed her attention to her pregnant best friend. This question was enough to make Evan direct his attention to his wife by rubbing her stomach proudly to tease her.

"Good, if he stops doing weird things, I'll be very grateful," he said, rubbing his stomach.

We had planned that if it was a man, we would most likely find Samuel and if it was a woman, we would not be able to name him because all the women's names were so beautiful.

The four friends and lovers chatted about the most stupid things they had ever experienced while at their workplace.

Cathy, now a doctor, she has the strangest stories to tell, she can also come in handy when Evan wants to write accurately about a particular condition or disease. They are both so cultured and educated that they fit in well with each other. The perfect couple.

Cathy likes about critical time, quick decision-making and Reality, while Evan is more interested in the power of words and the beauty of fiction, even if he writes Non-Fiction, fiction finds a way to penetrate his writing, and even if he does not, he was more patient, he was never in a hurry to write something, he was more relaxed than his wife and he made sure he was envious enough about it. Evan likes about the right time, words and building a fictional world that seems so real.

Silent for a moment, among the married couple when Leo and Lina went to the toilet and had a drink.

They looked at each other with their eyes and they got lost there for a while, just because Evan is loving and sweet at public events and gives his wife the warm and loving look he loves.

Her mother always told her not to chase after the man who made her feel like a fire when the man touched her, but go after the man who always makes you feel safe when his feet hold hands and make him feel warm and loved. It was very difficult at first but in the end he got used to it.

His face turned red as Evan decided to become his brash self. "Tell me, did I ever tell you how beautiful that dress looks tonight?"

"No, I don't think so,"

"Geez, I'm a very bad husband,"

"If it's bad, fix it enough to be good,,"

"You look really pretty tonight,"

"Thank you,"

"You are like an angel that falls from the sky."

"Oh my God, Evan. Enough flattering me tonight. Stop teasing me, I don't need it anymore, we're married,"

"How's my little baby?"

"He's fine. Hi my dear, I said hi to you,"

"Hi!" Evan said cheerfully rubbing Cathy's stomach for her unborn baby.

"He said, Dad, you look good in your suit" Cathy said, making Evan laugh.

They decide to give birth at home, Cathy is now in their bed, sweating, very tired from straining.

"Come, I can see his head, you're fine, baby. One last big push" the midwife told Cathy.

"It's okay, honey, just one last push, I'm here, right here, hold my hand if it makes me better," Evan quickly offered the help he could, although not much.

She grabbed it subconsciously, and screamed as she circulated with all her remaining energy, she nearly fainted and limped on her bed, but Samuel's beautiful scream filled the room.

"Good work, baby, she came out safe and sound" said the midwife, wrapping her in a white towel.

"Thank God" Cathy murmured softly.

Soon the newborn baby was held in his grandmother's arm.

"Don't worry about anything baby, you just need to rest, I'll bathe her. Evan, stay with him and make sure he's comfortable and relaxed and doesn't need anything. Make him rest and relax."

"Mom, I'm not going to stop you from kidnapping her, there's no need to bother me" Evan chuckled and squeezed Cathy's hand.

"It's okay, if you want to sleep, go to sleep, you've done a good job" he said in a whisper.

"Thank you" she rolled her eyes, as she began to fall asleep.

"Well" he kissed the back of his hand.

"It's nothing" she took a clean towel and began wiping Cathy's sweat as she slowly fell asleep.

They wish him to be as calm and intellectual as they are, but without such luck, football is his guilty pleasure, which makes Leo his favorite person in the world.

They stand in front of their new home, and they smell the fresh air and enjoy the fresh air and tranquility that their new home provides.

"Yay! That's our new house ?!" Samuel asked, excited.

"Yes, son. Whaddya think? Cool?"

"cool? It's gah! This is awesome!" Samuel ran excitedly around the house.

"just only. Don't jump in the water!" Shouted Evan, warning him as he left, going to the back of the house.

He smiled his plan went very well so far.

She recently published a new book, she tried to make the book smell her shots of romance and the result was a success.

He sold so many copies that he would distribute around the world.

So with the money he got, he changed his family's life and he built a playground for Samuel.

"Yes God! Good Lord! Good Lord! We have a playground! This house is awesome!" The five-year-old toddler screamed, causing his parents to laugh and run into the background and witness the moment alone.

.

.

"You're always locked up in your office!" Shouting Cathy.

"Well, because I'm at work!" Evan defended himself.

"Well, you barely interact every day with us!" Cathy shouted again.

"It could be because I'm working for kalia . I can't earn a stable income, I earn money with varying amounts, which depends on the book, so I make sure it stays stable so, uh, I can actually earn a huge income that can support our financial needs." Shouted Evan.

He knows he's been trying his hardest to balance his job and his family, in fact, Cathy is going to work and Evan is doing a lot of things, including helping Samuel, doing homework and accompanying her son to study. Indeed, he is not an expert in the field of dust cleaning, sweeping, mopping or cooking and one of the four impossible things in the world he does is clean the bathroom.

He was also very afraid of going bankrupt someday, because those days still haunted him until now, he did not want his family to be poor.

.

Evan stuck his head out to see what was going on, he rolled his eyes and left.

"Let's go, Rosa," the teenager urged her four-year-old sister.

"Let's see what Uncle Alan and Aunt Kenny did, huh?" He knew how to make his sister follow him and that was by mentioning his uncle's children.

Leo is devastated.

Luckily, Evan was there to help her overcome her grief.

"It's okay, buddy. I've felt the way you feel, don't be sad."

"Thank you" said Leo trembling.

"It's okay, buddy, I live with your dad more than I live with my dad, I owe him a lot,"

Because he knows that there is no healing, there is only acceptance and adaptation to the situation, but there is no way out.

He won't be okay, he'll just change his point of view and it might take forever if he doesn't accept it early.

She may also end up like her sister, Anita, and that is enough to make Evan stay with her until she gets better.

"At least he died on his deathbed, peacefully, not with three bullets in his chest, you're too naive,"

"Yes" Leo chuckled and his tears came out.

His whole team is here, supporting him, but only Evan knows how to support him well.

.

.

"Hi, dad, Hi Anita, Hi Bu, I miss you, man," Evan leaves a bunch of flowers on each headstone.

Life will take away people's souls, but he makes sure he replaces them with others, though not directly.

Sometimes replacement comes even before the person dies, sometimes after their death.

"I miss you so much" it's always been his weak point, talking to his dead family.

He never knows what to say, he just keeps repeating the word I miss you, I love you.

She was shaking, but she wasn't crying.

"I miss you guys,"

"I love you, man,"

"See you later, buddy." And he stood up again and left.

.

Cathy was wearing a long black dress, accompanied by a sun hat and large sunglasses, the only white thing between them was her tissues and teeth.

Samuel and Rose, bowing their heads, weep silently with their mother as the coffin is carried by six men to finally rest next to her old family.

Leo lowered his head, with his family, showing love and respect for the departed

And life goes on.

Finishes.
