Ep. 80

I heard my cell phone alarm go off. I then got up and groaned in annoyance at not wanting to get up. As I tried to shift my hand to grab my phone, the painkiller injections stung all over my body, I hissed in pain as I felt an open wound.

That's when I opened my eyes and saw that my pocket was in the hospital room, I was wearing hospital clothes that were usually blue. That's when I remember, Stefan took me and locked me in what I call hell and that's when Adrian saved me. I don't remember much after I was put in the ambulance.

How long have I been asleep?

How long have I been here?

Is Alan still alive?

Is Adrian safe?

Where's Stefa ?

Questions like that kept piling up and I started to worry, just as I started having panic attacks the door opened and saw my staff. Kenny.

"Kenny!" I said, my voice itchy and painful to speak. She looked up and her confused face turned into a bright smile, she ran towards me and hugged my neck cautiously.

"Yes God. I thought we were gonna lose you. I'm so glad you're awake." She sobbed on my shoulder, I hugged her.

"Well, I'm alive. It took more than that to get rid of me." I said kidding.

"It's not a laughing matter. Are you crazy !? You've been asleep for three days, they've had to perform two operations on you to get the bullet out!" She was crying at me.

"A bullet?" I asked.

"Yes, a bullet, Stefan was shooting at you, but when Adrian shot him right in the shoulder, it missed instead of going to your head and it went into your hip." He explains. It was then that I realized the dull pain I felt in my left hip bone. I grabbed down and put my hands on my waist.

"How's Alan doing? Is he still alive?" I asked her, her smile slightly wobbly and returning a bright smile.

"He's a living. But he won't be able to walk without a cane anymore." He said with regret. But at this moment I don't care about it, the most important thing is that he's still alive.

"And Adrian?" I asked worriedly. Just as he was about to speak, the door opened and Adrian came with an anxious face, very tired and groggy, his hair was disheveled and he looked like he had not slept well during the jni, his usually well-groomed beard grew and grew longer and thorny.

"He's never left you since you were brought here." He spoke softly. Adrian looked up sadly and saw Kenny's joyful expression, his eyes lit up and he slowly turned his head and looked to the place where I was sitting, she looked almost doubtful but when she saw me waking up and smiling at her her face beamed happily.

She took long steps towards the bed and hugged me into her tender, meaningful embrace. He reached out and twirled the tip of my hair on his finger and touched his head to my neck.

"I can't believe you're finally awake." He muttered on my neck, I felt a slight droplet of water on the skin that was hit by my shoulder.

"I miss you too. Thank you for trying to save me. You're my hero." I said with a heart-touching emotional feeling.

Adrian then shifted so that he could stare directly at my eyes, his hands grabbed and cupped my face while his thumb lightly rubbed my cheekbones. He leaned closer then his lips kissed my lips, before I could even respond to his kiss or even close my eyes, his lips slipping away from mine.

"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have done that. You may want time and space and I must-" I quickly put a finger to her lips to silence her.

"Will you shut up and kiss me." I smiled, she chuckled at my statement, then we both leaned against each other to share a passionate kiss. Although none of us will say it, we lovingly put as much love into one simple kiss as possible, as we pulled back we both smiled and showed the same emotions and feelings. We both love each other. The romantic moment was sidetracked as the bedroom door opened and Kenny pushed in Alan, the two of us just staring almost in disbelief at the other person we expected was right in front of us, but it soon faded away as I ran from the bed towards her, I pulled all the wires and hoses attached to me, I ran towards him and pulled him closer to me and he did the same. There are no words that we can both say we just sit there, hold hands with each other, but it all ended when a doctor came in with fear that Alan and I had gotten out of bed, he ordered me to go back to bed to get Alan back in his place, with him, with him, we laughed happily as we walked out the door. I knew that everything would be fine, with Adrian here holding my hand, and seeing Alan in good health. I know nothing can destroy me anymore.

Some time passed..

At airport..

We were standing outside the airport gate waiting to give our final goodbye. After long years and cruel and exhausting days, we all finally arrived here.

I was closer to the front waiting for him at the check through the security door and Alan with his cane waiting behind me. Immediately I saw him smile sadly at me, as soon as he reached me, he grabbed me and pulled me into his chest. As soon as she let go of me, I helped her adjust her uniform to look straight.

"You'll be safe there, Lieutenant Alan Fransamuel. I want you to come home safely." I told him, Adrian was also called back to be a Lieutenant at Marine Base, I don't know when I can see him again.

"Don't worry about me, ma'am. Adrian, I can assure you I'll be safe and well, when I get home." He chuckles at my forehead. He then knelt down slightly with both hands on his knees.

"And you little boy, take care of your mother for me." He smiled as he kissed Evans' head. Evan is our five-month-old son, he has beautiful eyes like Adrian sparkling and wavy hair like me. Alan then walked over giving Adrian a hug.

"You better beat up those losers, because now I can't be there to help you." Alan said with small tears in his eyes.

"Oh, don't worry, I'll do it." Adrian grinning. Alan's fiancee comes and kisses Adria's cheek .

"You, send a lot of letters to all of us." He said stab his chest. Adria laughing.

"Don't worry, Kennt, I'll make sure of that." He smiled and kissed her cheek again, she turned towards me and smiled her eyes slightly down and looked at my slightly quivering lips and a hint of tears coming out. He walked over and gave me a long kiss.

"I'll be back." He convinced me.

"Good be there." I told him with a trembling voice.

"The same with you. I love you, Alice." He told me just as their voice informed them that the plane was about to depart.

"I love you too." I said giving her one more kiss, she looked at Evan with a smile, then at Alan and Kenny. He walks towards the double door that will take him to his plane, with one last look of yearning and a wave of his hand, Adrian missing from our sight. Even though I cried, I couldn't be happier for her, for all of us. We're all happy. Stefan will no longer be a problem, I am now a mother, Alan and Kenny will soon have the same happiness as how I got my happiness. Adrian came into my life only as a soldier and will always be my soldier.
