What's wrong with her? He was of course flattered by Alex's praise, but that doesn't mean that he should overdo it.

"OK." she replied in a gentle tone, "I know you're a very good girl."

Anastasya's heart melted because of it. He remembers saying the same thing to her on Jason's doctor's birthday the other day. After that, he leaned over to kiss her forehead but now on her lips.

If the words of the explosion were used to describe the feeling of someone being kissed, Anastasya thought it was not enough. The kiss gave her a feeling so beautiful that she felt everything vanish. He felt that they were no longer in the gazebo for that one second.

It was his first kiss.

But he thought it was wrong and the kiss ended.

Does Alex really love him or does it because Clara has left him and he feels lonely or whatever. Even Alex told him she hated everything that had to do with love. If he thinks that Alex is just someone with whom he can fill the space in his heart for some time. He's wrong!

"What are you doing?" Anastasya says.

"I just kissed you." Alex answered in a soft tone.

"I know you just kissed me, I'm not stupid, you know it's Alex." He answers.

"Listen to Anastasya," Alex suddenly changed his tone as he caught her shoulder, "when we were in the hospital, you were so friendly to me, so kind, but now I don't know why you suddenly seem to be hostile to me. Today you have to explain it to me!"

"I'll explain it to you, don't worry." Anastasya. Alex pulled.

"Clara left you and I know that you must have been very miserable and lonely. You must be feeling broken and desperate. You even said that you hate everything that has to do with love and now you're here praising my beauty and you even kissed me, what happened to you Alex?" Anastasia explained.

"I love you Anastasya." His tone showed a little hurt. "I fell in love with you and this is how you treat me?"

Anastasya took a deep breath and realized that she had been a little rude to him.

"I'm sorry if I sound rude, I'm angry" Anastasya said. "But that doesn't mean I reject you or become arrogant. I think it's normal that you have a crush on someone after breaking up with your previous boyfriend because you feel lonely without Clara and because we're so close to each other doesn't mean you think it's love. I'm sure it wasn't."

The last sentence made him really hurt. But it's better to tell him the truth. Anastasya knows that the two of them will suffer if one day Alex will realize that he really does not love her. If Alex is in love with a beautiful model like Clara then surely she is not the type of woman Alex wants to be. She's just a very simple girl.

"What did you say that was?" Alex asked in a confused tone.

"I'm saying you're confused right now." Anastasya continued as she stood up, "you need time to think about forgetting Clara and creating a new beginning of your life."

" and what if the beginning of my life was you?" Alex asks her, "what if I really fell in love with you? and it's not just a crush.

"Then you'll know for yourself." Anastasya smiled.

"I already know that," Alex retorted angrily.

"No!" Anastasya smiled sadly, "You're just confused now. I gotta go. Sarah must have been waiting for me."

After saying that, he left Alex bewildered and heartbroken.
