Ep. 18

The meeting room is a large room where usually all the doctors will meet to discuss important things. The room was used when important people came to the hospital for a conference. The room was huge and Anastasya had never been there. But he knows where it is.

Anastasya rushed towards the room and saw the door half open. Someone spoke in a cheerful tone. It was a voice he recognized, a male voice, a voice that was carefully filled, it was Alex's voice. But she felt something different in her tone, it felt the same but her personality changed.

Anastasya peered inside and saw Alex standing in his army uniform, a smile on his face. Alex sat in one of the chairs. There was another person also in the room, an unknown person; a woman, two men and a young girl were sitting next to him. They may be his family. The woman is somewhat similar to Alex, if you think the other one must be Alex's mother. One of them was a soldier as well so the other one must be his father, Anastasya thought.

"Alex," said the middle-aged man, "surprisingly, the other members' spirits changed as you left. Now everyone's gonna be so happy when you get back."

"No way," the young girl suddenly cut him hard, "Alex, you've just recovered, you can't go back. We need to have fun now."

"Everyone laughed, maybe they thought it was a childish thing to say.

"I'm not coming back" Alex said as he pinched his cheek attentively, "soon, don't worry."

"I don't want to lose you again, brother" she said with teary eyes.

"it won't," said Alex flashing at him.

Now Anastasya understood that the girl was his sister. Seeing so much love between them made her heart happy. Anastasya didn't know why, It just touched her heart.

"I feel touched, knowing that you've improved again, son. You know how we don't feel so good at home." Said the man.

The resemblance is too flashy! That must be his father.

"I don't either" said someone's voice.

Anastasya opened a little door to see who was talking and then he saw her.

It was a woman, she was tall with long blonde hair and wore a bright blue shirt with slender black trousers. A pair of blue high heels complements the woman. She is beautiful, but who is she?

That girl's her boyfriend? What the fuck, she got a boyfriend?

Anastasya immediately retreated as tears drenched her cheeks. He put his hand on the edge next to her. Suddenly he felt his heart breaking. He could not stop his tears. His heart was throbbing and he felt his head empty.

Everything seems like a big lie, No! Maybe I was too hopeful. Her thought.

"It's my fault, I have too much hope, I think he'll love me" Anastasya whispered as she cried. "Stupid!" Anastasya cursed herself as she sat down in the corridor and cried. Fortunately, no one saw him at the time.

Anastasya put his hand on his mouth and he shouted. Feeling very lonely and very angry at himself, why? He knew he had too much hope. How could she have thought that Alex would fall in love with her.

Suddenly he heard footsteps, he immediately wiped his tears and ran away, his face looking red. Anastasya ran out in the darkness with all his remaining energy, not knowing what he should do and think about.

Suddenly Anastasya found herself in front of the pool. Everything seemed so terrifying in this darkness.

"Oh, Alex.." Anastasya sobbed again as she knocked herself down on the grass.

She was there for a few minutes and her tears kept flowing down her cheeks.

"Anashasya!"

Anastasya quickly looked back and saw, Alex. He really looks different even his voice is different.

Hopefully it's a little dark, so Alex won't be able to see that I just cried. Anastasya.

"can I sit with my friend for a few minutes?" Alex asked politely and his heavy voice.
