Ep. 11

"Alex, we're in the lock from the outside," Anastasya screamed in horror, "locked, locked!"

"I told you, what do I care?" Alex shrugged his shoulders, "by the way, I'm hungry so I'm going to go for some food."

"eat what?" shouting furiously.

"food, '" he answered flatly.

"Oh food?" Anastasya said sarcastically, "yes, so if you don't look outside we won't be locked up like this, really! And for your food menu today there's weed, pebble soup with extra water comberan."

"I want to...." Alex began in a pensive tone, looking at him, "I want you to stop talking."

"Huhuh?" that was all Anastasya could say.

Alex directs himself to an unused barn he finds in the back of the park. It looked old and almost no one cared anymore. The door was also broken but they had no choice at the moment and decided to sit there quietly. The air smelled of dust and the only moonlight shone through the broken window.

"It's all your fault!" Anastasya cried and shivered, "You have a very bad idea, honestly, why..."

He suddenly stopped babbling as he watched Alex take off his jacket to put it on his body.

"there's only one jacket," she smiled at him comfortably, "don't worry about me. I used to spend a lot of time in the cold in the woods. It's not a big deal."

Anastasya smiled at him but also felt very embarrassed. Alex is cold because of him.

"Hey, it's okay," Alex said as she pinched her cheek gently, "stop worrying, okay?"

Anastasya nodded while fixing the shoes, he's a good person.

"Sir, thank you," Anastasya whispered as she looked into her brown eyes.

A small silence followed, then Alex spoke with a grin "don't call me sir, call me by my name."

"but," Anastasya blushed, "how can I. I mean I..."

"that's a simple name." He smiled, "Alex."

"okay," Anastasya smiled as she looked at his hand, feeling too embarrassed to see him all of a sudden, "okay, Alex."

"Good," he said happily, "that is how my friends often call me by that name."

"At the battalion too?" Anastasiya asked.

He sighed and replied, "not really. In one we do call each other with titles, but you're my best friend now so we can call each other by our first names, right?"

"right," said Anastasya cheerfully..

A pal? He said that if he was his best friend, the cold air in the cold was no longer felt.

Next morning..

When Anastasya woke up. He saw Alex still sleeping. He was lying next to her, not too close. He was a good friend, Anastasya thought. He gave her his jacket while she slept there.

Then Anastasya noticed that there were some pieces of wood burning, he must have found a matchbox lying around and lit a fire.

Anastasya woke him up and quickly went to the hall where everyone had breakfast, it seemed that no one noticed their disappearance and that in itself made Anastasya feel extremely relieved.

"Let's go eat" he said, rubbing his hands together

"Ready to do it" Alex grinned and they aimed at an empty table.

As they finished eating, Alex burped heavily and Anastasya glared at him.

"Anastasya, Mr. Alex!" a nurse approached them, "Doctor Jason called you both."

"Oh us?" Anastasya.

Does he know about where we were last night? Anastasya thought as she stood up, oh no! Why did the doctor call me? The last time we barged into his office and right now, he's bound to be mad at us, I'm afraid of getting kicked out of the hospital today, I know that.

"Where were you two last night?" the first thing the doctor said when they reluctantly entered his office.

"in the barn" Alex replied.

"What are you doing there?" the doctor asked with furrowed brows.

"we were out breathing fresh air and then went to visit the place" Alex replied.

"Actually we were locked from the outside and couldn't get back into the dining room, so we had to take shelter in the barn." Anastasia explained.

"Okay," Doctor Jason sighed, "by the way, I went looking for you with the other doctors and nurses and we found you in the barn. And we thought hopefully there was wood and matches and I saw there it was already on. You guys sleep so we don't wake you."

"thank you" Anastasya smiled.

"is that why?" the doctor glared at him, "are you trying to turn this place into...? Why are you doing such a naughty thing?"

"sorry," Anastasya looked surprised, "do I look like a delinquent?"

"yes, right!" Alex added in between their talks and started laughing out loud.

"you'd better shut up Alex. I'll also deal with you," Doctor Jason interjected, staring at him intently, "you're my patient and even though you're a soldier don't think I'm afraid of you."

"i'm not talking to you!" alex answered with a shrug.

"Hahaha, good Alex," Anastasya giggled.

Instantly the doctor's face flushed as if he was about to explode, he looked so cute, Anastasya thought.

"it's time to deal with you two," said the Doctor angrily, "that's it, I'll make a new decision now."

"sorry doctor" suddenly a nurse came into the room.

"What's wrong? can't you see, I'm busy?" shouts Doctor Jason.

"Hey don't you dare yell at me like that, I'm just here to tell you that I called Mr. Alex to come with me, because someone wanted to see him." Lisa reply.

The doctor breathed.

"excuse me, I just got carried away and vented it on you, sorry."

"keep that sorry! Come on, Alex, someone's visiting you." Lisa said angrily and left with ex

"it looks like you're under pressure, Doctor." Anastasya Canda.

The doctor looked at her with red eyes and Anastasya decided to shut up.

"until I see you later, when Mr. Alex is done with his visit, we'll be back." He said while waving his hand.

"right," he murmured with clenched teeth.

what is wrong with her today, Anastasya wonders as she walks in the garden.
