Ep. 10

"I don't want to go home!" Anastasya said firmly, folding her hands as she looked through the window.

"what?" The doctor said as if he had just heard the most ridiculous thing.

"my wish is round!" Anastasya nodded as she looked at him.

Pause followed and then the doctor spoke again in a cold voice

"Reason?"

"Secret!" Anastasya replied in the same cold tone.

The doctor watched him for a moment before saying with raised eyebrows

"is it not for 'personal' reasons?, or is it because of Alex?"

Anastasya looked at her with widened eyes and her cheeks flushed red. He began to stammer as his eyes flickered.

"What's? Nah! Of course not! What the fuck is this doctor, I mean why am I..."

"i know you two have been close friends for the past few weeks" she cut him off with a grin, "i know you want to stay and help him."

Anastasya looked at him before sighing with a smile.

"well, you're right, doctor, because of Alex

I can't just leave it here without keeping my promise"

"Ahaaha!" The doctor laughed, "I know you want him to be better but, you have to trust the hospital as well. We'll take care of him. You can go and enjoy your new life!"

"that sounds like a lot of fun" Anastasya replied, "that's what I've dreamed of since I came here but, I just want to help Alex get better. Please let me stay for a few days."

"but that's an absurd reason" the doctor shouted, "for example if Alex will never improve, will you never leave this hospital?"

"don't tell me it's a doctor!" Anastasya shouted loudly, "Alex will improve."

"Okay, I'm sorry!" the doctor said patiently, "I don't mean to say that. I'm just giving you an example, ok! Bad example, sorry you were right. I shouldn't have said that, he's going to get better. But, you need to understand that you also have a life that you should enjoy fully out there."

"i know," Anastasya replied, looking determined. "but, I want to stay here for a few days with her."

The doctor took a deep breath and shook his head in disbelief. And after a long silence the doctor finally agreed with Anastasya's decision.

"Okay, I'll let you stay here for only a few days!"

A few minutes later, Alex returned from the isolation room thanks to his request and Alex himself had promised that he would never again start hurting others again.

Alex and Anastasya spent most of their time walking and sitting around, and of course joking with each other. Anastasya did not know that by being with him he felt that happiness. There was also another reason for her happiness; Alia. Alia is another patient who likes to talk to. He was healed and looked much better. His parents came to take him home and they couldn't possibly not look happier to see their daughter finally doing well. Alia on his side, looked overjoyed as she left the hospital. Anastasya knew that he would soon experience that happy feeling as well, but not for now.

For now, I'd rather stay with Alex, he thought.

Throughout the night, everyone was walking in the large hall and Alex as well Anastasya decided to sit at an empty table to talk.

"I'm a hungry skali," Alex suddenly said with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Oh," Anastasya smiled, "But I don't!"

Alex grinned at him for that strange answer, making him realize how upset he was.

"your cheek," he suddenly said, "why is it pink."

"it's okay," Anastasya quickly replied, "it's so hot here."

He seemed to analyze his sentence in his mind and then an evil smile appeared on his face.

"Errr..." Anastasya could not finish his sentence for the next instant he grabbed his hand and quietly dashed out of the hall into the cold night outside.

Anastasya felt his entire body freeze, as they stepped out and instantly his teeth started chattering, not to mention that his legs would also go limp.

Before Anastastasta had time to say anything, Alex grabbed her hand even stronger and ran towards the pool.

"Haaa, fresh air. Hahaha," Alex laughed out loud, stretching out his arms.

"Fresh air?" Anastasya squeaked, "Ddddd, do you know I'm cold?"

Then Anastasya clasped his arm furiously and pulled him back into the hall. He turned the doorknob and tadaaaa... It's locked!

"Oh no!" Anastasya mukai panicked, "we are locked from the outside.

"It's good that if it's locked, we can enjoy this cold air right here,"

"Whatdidyou say? Enjoying?"anastasya said, "You don't know how cold it is here and I'll freeze to death if it lingers outside."

"Well that's your problem, I don't want to go in even if the door is unlocked, inside it's very boring" Alex said.
