Be My Soldier Forever

Be My Soldier Forever
Ep. 60

Today is the day Alan comes home. I was busy all day cleaning my house and making it look clean and tidy, as well as preparing food for them. I heated the buttered chicken in the microwave for cooking, then I peeled the potatoes and sliced them into pieces and put them in a skillet, next the green beans. I stopped and admired my hard work that I had just done. The house already looks clean without a speck of dust on one of the shelves, the windows are also clean and so is the carpet. The smell of butter chicken with potatoes and green beans smelled in my nose.

I looked at the clock, he should have been on his way on the plane to get here.

I'm headed to the airport. Once there, I was nervous, I couldn't sit and just kept pacing around waiting. I saw the clock, at 3 in the morning, I was still pacing back and forth here and there I looked at the clock and still showed at 3:30. I sighed in frustration and then dropped myself onto one of the chairs in the waiting room, I sighed again and rubbed my eyes.

“Are you okay, Son?” I dropped my hand and looked up, seeing that there was an old woman with her husband next to her asleep, she looked aged.

“Yes, I'm fine, thank you, I'm just nervous.” I smiled reassuringly at him.

“Talk to me, who knows I can help you.” I smiled and was about to tell her about my brother, Alan, but her husband snored loudly.

“Hey, gosh!” The woman patted his chest. “Wake up, your snoring is huge.” Her husband snorted awake and rubbed his eyes.

“Yes I'm awake. I'm up. You don't have to pat my chest.” The man grumbled as he crossed his hands across his chest.

“Sorry baby, what are you saying?” He smiled, I giggled a little before I started explaining.

“My brother I came home from the Army today and I haven't seen him in a long time, so I'm very excited.”

“Oh my husband, how exciting. Did you hear my husband? Or are you sleeping back?” He shouted, people started looking at us with the commotion he was doing.

“Yes my wife, I heard it. But you know, I couldn't hear anything after you yelled at me just now. I thought, the ear on my left is deaf, now." ”atya while rubbing it.

“Oh baby, don't say it like that. You are fine.” I was about to say thank you to her, but suddenly I heard a voice through the intercom announcing that the 4 o'clock plane was about to land.

I immediately got up and walked over to the guardrail at the door of arrival and stretched my neck as far as I could, I could see people passing through the doors they were about to pass. I waited, holding my breath, my eyes still pointing towards the exit. I saw two men in army uniforms coming towards me. My smile appeared on my face and I could not stop my feet running towards him, as soon as he saw myself running towards him, his suitcase fell to the floor and he opened his arms wide.

I just jumped at him, wrapped my hands around his neck with my blind grip, my eyes shed tears of joy as I sobbed on his shoulder.

“I miss you so much, sis.” I wept. I felt his muscles encircle my body and smash me as if he never wanted to let me go.

“Wah, Alice, it's been a long time. I missed you.” I let go a little so that I could see his face clearly, he looked gallant all these years, tall and muscular.

“Wow, Alan, you've changed, no longer a cute little boy, long time ago.” I said while pinching her cheek.

“You were right, now I've become an adult male.” He said while stretching his hand.

“And you, my little sister, have now grown from cupu to beautiful.” He said while ruffling my hair.

“Be quiet!, you speak as if you were the one who looks perfect.” I said, pondering, I could see Alan opening his mouth to refute, but we were both the sound of people coughing from behind us, we went back and saw there was the most handsome and sexy man I had ever seen.

“Oh sorry, Alice, this is my friend, Andrian. This Adrian, my twin sister, Alice.” We both smiled at each other and extended our hands.

“ fun, finally get to meet you, Alice.” He said, I feel like Speerti just melted into a puddle of water.

On the way home.

All the way home, in the car filled with laughter and stories. Alan told me about a lot of jokes he did to his other friend. His stupid friend, who likes to put plastic bags in the toilet, calls in the toilet, changes his friend's shoes of a different size, a silly fad. Adrian remained silent, saying nothing but, he laughed as we laughed.

“So Alice, how are you?” Alan asked.

“Yeah, I'm good seklai.” I said. “I received some orchid flowers this week, and almost all the bestsellers sold.” I said as I drove into the courtyard. I then stopped right in front of the garage and looked at Alan.

“This is your home?” She asked me, I could feel my cheeks getting warm as she looked at me.

“Ya, this is my home.” I said avoid her sharp eyes.

“As a creamu park furniture it? Isn't it very expensive?” He looks confused.

“Yes, I stayed in a small contract after Alan went to the military, I went to college and finished my college degree. Then I got a job to save money and spend as little as possible, and from my mother's savings and a little paternity allowance, I saved everything. I could buy a florist and pretty much his business exploded and here I am now.” I smiled back at him, got out of the car and saw Alan with some of his luggage. As we walked into the house, they both smelled the smell of butter chicken with potatoes.

“You don't make cheap potato butter chicken, do you. Also with green beans.” He said sarcastically. And then mock.

“It is, I made it so tasty.” He laughed and walked up to me and ruffled my hair and hugged me tightly.

“Hei! Don't break my hair.” But he ignored me and laughed at me.

“What I've done, I'm just trying to let go of my longing for my sister.” She said as I tried to break away from her embrace, I felt a pair of hands pull my waist out.

“Ok, enough already. I'm so hungry and if you keep bothering your sister, I'll never eat.” Adrian teased while still holding my waist. I really couldn't move, no one had ever touched me like this before except my brother, because he Alan saw the expression on my face, he knew that I didn't feel comfortable at all.

“Yes, you are absolutely right Alice, let's eat.” Alan took my arm and slowly pulled me out of his grasp.

My legs feel stiff even my muscles so. Alan had to push me to the kitchen. In the kitchen, I let out a deep breath, I took the plate and placed it on the table as well as the glass and fork spoon. Next I take ayan\=m butter meat along with potatoes and green beans. Which I put on the plate. Now it's time to eat, there's no noise around the table except a small moan of pleasure that Alan and Adrian emit as they eat.

“Alice, you are an amazing chef, your cooking is very tasty.” Said Alan

“Ya, sure. Who was it, Alice so.”

“Ya, it's delicious.” Adrian said he put the potatoes in his mouth. I smile because they like it.

After eating, we started talking about whatever little things were, then I served them a snack and some ice cream and started getting ready to go back to Alan's old apartment, we walked out the door and suddenly Alan's phone rang.

“Halo?”

“Ya, what's up?”

“Yes I'm home today.”

I can hear someone's voice through the speakers.

“one year.” I can see Alan's facial expression, from confused to happy then angry.

“What do you mean, you sold my apartment?” Alan shouted. My eyes widen.

“Yeah, that's stupid! I don't think you did that!” Alan snorted furiously and decided on the call.

“What happened?” I asked, Alan rubbed his hair and pulled it.

“I stopped paying for my apartment last year, my friend used to say that he was the one who took care of the cost, but well this way, I lost my apartment, I have no place to live now.” Said.

“Let's stay here with me, I have two empty rooms that have never been used, the mattress is still good, stay here.” I offered him, Alan smiled and hugged me, kissed my forehead.

“You're so good, thank you.” Alan then carried all his belongings to the room, as Adrian passed me he slightly bent over then whispered in my ear.

“Thank you for letting me stay here.” Her breath billowed in my ear, making me feel shaky, then she walked away.
