Ep. 39

“Alex!” Both Anastasya and Clara cried and roared at the same time.

“You two are out.. from here.!” Alex muttered with his palm on his head. It was clear that he endured the terrible pain as blood poured out of his head.

“There's no way I'm leaving you here like this,” Anastasya cried.

“Please say goodbye Alex!” Lucas laughed as he prepared his weapon and pointed the gun at him.

“Put that gun!” a Police officer ordered, “this is your last warning!” you don't have a chance to escape!”

“I don't plan to escape!” Lucas laughs.

“Enough!” shouted the Commander, “save your weapons!”

“Thank you for the interruption!” a voice echoed from behind him. That was lucas.

He stood up and quickly grabbed Anastasya's hand and made her his prisoner.

“let the girl go!” shouted the Commander.

“I gave the order here!” Lucas shouted, “I've had enough of all this! At first I thought I would get Clara the easy way but it looks like I

must find another way.”

“Let go of me!” Anastasya cried as she tried to struggle out of her arms.

“If you don't want to see the bloodshed of the innocent Clara,.” Lucas continued as he ignored Anastasya's comments, “go to my car waiting in the garage, we'll meet there. And all of you if anyone tries to follow me. Believe me, I will not hesitate to kill Anastasya.”.

“I'm tired of you!” Anastasya shouted, “You think what are you doing? Clara would never love you if you kept acting like this!”

“Shut!” lucas shouted, “no one wants to hear you!”

Meanwhile, the police manage to arrest the men who work for Lucas but since Anastasya is still Lucas' prisoner, nothing can be done to him.

Anastasya was tired of struggling and failing in every attempt, but he knew that he could not give up! He couldn't let Lucas risk his own life.

“Let him go!” Alex says, neither “Anastasya nor Clara want to go with you! This place is already surrounded. You don't have a chance.”

“You better keep the blood coming out of your head before you talk to me Alex,” Lucas replied in a mocking tone, “Oh and Clara dear what are you still doing here? Get in the car.”

Clara looked at Anastasya, Alex and Lucas, everything seems so terrible now.

It all seems wrong. He shouldn't have spoken to Lucas. He shouldn't have gone abroad.

What have I done, Clara thought as her eyes watered.

“Quick, Alex!” Lucas roars.

“Let go of Anastasya first,” Clara muttered as her tears fell on her cheeks, "and I'll come with you.”

“Cannot Clara!” Anastasya shouted, “There is no way you could do more harm to yourself, that's enough!”

It's time! Now or not at all! Anastasya nudged me as hard as he could on his ribs and Lucas immediately loosened his grip on him. Without losing any more time, he escaped from it but felt the consequences of his attack; a sharp pain in his arm. Anastasya knew that putting too much pressure on her elbow when she attacked him would cause her pain but at least she survived and so did Clara.

Anastasya runs away from lucas and goes towards Clara and she sees Clara's eyes widened in horror and cries; and ;

"Anastasya watch out!”

Anastasya had no idea what Clara meant but the next moment Anastasya felt an unbearable pain in his back.

“Anastasia!” Alex cries and he runs towards her but suddenly things get blurry for her.. Anastasya could not even see properly.he felt so weak that he fainted on the floor.

Anastasya knows what happened. He received a bullet right in the middle of his back. He took two more steps towards Alex and fell down beside him.

Alex was now lying down, blood kept flowing on his head while anstasya sat beside him with blood running down his back. They looked at each other and tears flowed down their cheeks.

“Catch this guy! Now too!” commander said.

Anastasia looked at Alex

“no... don't die ..”

Everything was like a nightmare to him. He could barely see her and he could barely hear her, but they kept hugging each other.

Anastasya had a feeling that everything was coming to an end. He looked into her eyes and wondered if she still remembered all the good times they had together...

“Do not go..” Alex whispered as he forced himself not to faint.

“i really want Clara and because of you, I will never be able to be with her!” Lucas cried and the police ran towards him, “but don't worry, I will now

ease your pain, Alex and also you Anastasya.”

“tidaaaakkk!” Alex cries when she sees Lucas pointing his gun at them.

“leash your weapon!” police said but it was too late, Lucas had pulled the trigger and the bullet hit Anastasya again. Alex pulled him up on the ground and

saved him. However, Lucas will fire another bullet!”

“Alex!” Daniel, who was also accompanying the police, cried as he threw the gun into the air. He has little energy but he knows what to do with it.

He sat down as quickly as possible,

Anastasya was still in his arms, pulling the trigger and shooting at Lucas with

all his strength before he had time to shoot them.

The next moment he saw all the cops around Lucas.

“nona please don't stay here, it's still dangerous,“ Daniel told Clara, “we still have to see if there are others around here.”

“But Anastasya and Alex?"  clara murmured as her eyes turned red from tears.

“we will take care of them, don't worry.” Daniel tells her, but Clara refuses and leaves.

Alex no longer felt dizzy..

“Anastasya,” he said while

catch his shoulder, “stay with me, here... look at me..”

Anastasya felt increasingly weak and her eyes almost closed.

“Anastasya..” Alex said as her tears drenched her cheeks, “I love you so much. Please don't go.”

“I love you too.you know.” he whispers back as he tries to smile but can't.

“I can't let you go.” Alex said with pain in his voice, “please.I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

together. I want to marry you, Anastasya! We will live together to

very long time...we will marry Anastasya.. You will marry me?”

Anastasya smiled weakly. He knew everything was going to end for him. But still, he wants to answer Alex's questions.

“Ya.. I will marry you.”

And the next moment his eyes were closed and he fell into the void of darkness.
