Adrian POV

The police proceed with the case with new evidence, they immediately begin the investigation and come up with evidence that they are there. It didn't take long to make sure she was there with Alice and we immediately prepared to go there.

They've called in the Team's help to deal with this, they don't know what to expect when they break in but they're always ready for anything.

I was getting ready, I was ready and I put on my military uniform and then I picked up the gun, after which I heard the voice of someone who was upset.

"Sir, you can't come with us. I've told Mr. Adria that you can't go." The police chief said, a short but muscular man with a hairline on his head, I stood as high as I could and looked down on him.

"I know you're gonna ban us from going, even ban Alan too, but you can't stop me from leaving." I said that to him maliciously right in front of his face, the man was really shaking and stiffly nodded his head, I nodded in agreement and walked past him to the police car. I was given a disapproving look and an annoyed look, but I ignored it. No one would hurt Alice without having to answer to me.

When we stopped at an apartment, the police lights started to turn red and blue and we all got out of the car, our guns were in position to attack and we were on high alert. As we approached the door with our heads lowered, we heard gunshots and a man behind me fell to the floor with blood covering his left cheek. We immediately clung to that side of the house, trying to block the bullets from hitting us. It was hard to know which way the bullet was fired, I started to analyze the situation, the bullets came from left and right, he said, my guess is that the shooter was in another house based on the angle the bullet came from, from the statement the police officers behind the door they were shooting at the bushes.

"All right, you're right, honey. Your army has come to help you." He sneered at me. "He also came in time, just right to watch you die." Everything went slowly after that, I saw him close his eyes, I saw his eyes restrain the madness and a sneering grin crossed his lips, I raised my gun and without even aiming I shot him, I heard a painful cry, I heard a painful cry, from Stefan and Alice, I saw Stefan fall to the floor holding his upper arm, Alice falling away from him to the floor. I ran towards him just as Stefan grabbed the gun pointing at me, I quickly kicked the gun away from his hand and several weapons pointed at him.

Stefan looked at the men around him and then back at me. He glared at a dagger, threw it at me and as he looked down at the broken girl in my arm, his eyes held a hint of regret, sadness. They grabbed her by shoulder lifting her up and dragging her away and out the door, I felt a soft hand touching my cheek drawing my attention from the villain who was trying to ruin the beauty of the woman in my arm. She curled up by my side, clinging to my shirt pulling her shivering body closer to me.

"Adrians." She whimpered to my side, I pulled her closer to me, covering her body with my hands.

"Shh, I'm here Alice." I whispered, she quivered in my arms, I looked up from her to see the horror that lay before me. Blood, blood everywhere. I started to feel nauseous with this kind of sight in front of me, it was his blood, on the floor, the bed, the wall. I instinctively tightened my grip on him, I heard boots coming into the hall and saw paramedics rushing over to us, they gently took Alice from my arm lifting her up onto their palanquin covering her battered body with a blanket and hurriedly pushed her out of this messy house.

As I walked out, I saw bullet holes strewn across the house and an angry-looking Stefan was forced into a police car, he threw an evil look at my die before a police car drove down the road, and quickly Ambulance followed behind him who would take care of the most precious thing to me.
