Ep. 20

"yeyy finally got home, too" Sarah was happy as she got out with the others from the car. They all walked in and sat in the dining room.

"I'm hungry, skali" Alex said as he extended his hand, "and exhausted."

His voice echoed in that large room.

"Sama, I'm hungry too. Ugh.." Brother smiled.

The maids in the mansion brought a wide variety of dishes instantly, one followed by the other and served them all on the table.

"Excellent," Madam Samuel smiled, "thank you. "

The maidservants smiled and left them before bidding farewell.

"It's been so long well I don't eat home food," Alex grinned as he started eating.

"It's been so long since we've had dinner together." He looked up and saw that it was his girlfriend who was talking.

"Hmmm," Alex muttered, "Clara, I need to talk to you after our dinner is over."

"Sure, Alex." She smiles.

After dinner, the two make their way to the family library and Alex closes the door.

"You want to spend time with me?" he felt a shock as he grabbed his neck.

"Stop that!" Alex said as he took off his arm and moved away from him and went towards the window.

"What the fuck is this, Alex?" Clara said, not understanding what she meant.

"From now on we're breaking up, and that's already mine." Said Alex.

"What?" Clara screamed, "Alex baby, you're not kidding, are you? Yep! There's gotta be another woman, right?"

"THE ONLY WOMAN IN MY LIFE IS YOU, BUT YOU MAKE MY HEART HURT!" Alex suddenly shouted. He took out all the uneg-unegs that were in his heart. He could not keep his thoughts to himself anymore and relayed what Clara had done to him while he was still in the hospital.

"Alex, stop being childish" said Clara with a frown, "what's your problem? I know, I was wrong, I left back then, but look now I'm back."

"Dad came to see me in the hospital," Alex began in a furious tone, "you know, I wish I could see you there. I managed to stay in that hospital because I knew that everyone still cared about me. I wish you cared about me, too, and I thought you'd come and see me, because I thought you loved me. But I think I was wrong, you ignored me when I needed you, when I needed your support. THE WOMAN I LOVED SO MUCH IN MY LIFE MADE ME HURT."

"I. I. I'm afraid.." Clara stammered, "it's not my fault, anyone will panic."

"Alex! If you're talking about Lucas, then let me tell you that I'm just friends with him and just met him in Singapore" Clara said.

"Who is Lucas?" ask Alex in confusion.

"You didn't read that article?" Clara muttered, realizing that she was just saying something that would make things worse.

"I just got out of a mental hospital. When do I have time to read a magazine?" Alex snapped, "By the way, I don't know why you're doing that to me, it's obvious you don't care about me."

"Don't say that!" Clara screamed, "I love you Alex!"

"You came home just because you wanted to make sure I wasn't hurt. But still you didn't come to see me in the hospital, because you knew that I was mentally unwell. You only came when you heard the news that I was cured." Alex explained and his gaze towards Clara was very sharp.

"OK," Clara took a deep breath, "you know, the day you had the accident, your boss called me. I think I was the first contact on your contact list, so that's why he called me. They said you were wounded in the bomb explosion."

"Yes," Alex nodded. But the explosion didn't happen very close to me. However, it affected my psyche more than my physique."

"I knew. They say you're hurt," continued Clara, "so I..."

"So you freaked out and flew to Singapore." Alex said with a sarcastic laugh, "You even know that I'm mentally unwell, and my father came to visit me in the hospital and told me that he called you and told you everything but, you don't even want to hear about me from them. You think I'd do the same thing if something like that happened to you?"

"No, I'm sorry," Clara said and then approached Alex, "I've made a mistake."

"You don't really love me Clara" Alex said calmly.

"Forget over this and stop being mad at me" whispered Clara, approaching her. Slowly she grabbed him and smiled.

"I'm not mad at you, just disappointed." Said Alex turning his face away, keeping his arm away from her. Alex then took a deep breath and looked into his eyes.

"We end up here, Clara, we break up!" Alex then left the room.

Alex thinks he's going to propose to Clara at the right time. Because she thinks Clara loves her just as much as she does. He thinks Clara cares about him and thinks that he means a lot to her. Actuallyno.

When her father tells her that Clara went abroad during her visit to the hospital, she can hardly believe it. That was why he felt so alone, desperate. But, hopefully his family didn't tell the doctor what was bothering him so much. Although Jason's doctor remained persistent.

Btw, what can he do ? Can Jason's doctor help him? Alex doesn't know, maybe he can but all this time the one who did it was Anastasya. The woman helped him a lot, overcame all his grief.

"Falling in love like this is the worst thing I've ever had in my life." Alex muttered to herself as she slammed the door, feeling angry.
