The Hate That Ends Marriage

The Hate That Ends Marriage
Short Holiday

Along the way back to Manju Village, Radit was only accompanied by silence and Widya's mood was so grim. His shriveled face was irritatedly fixed on the scene outside the glass of their car. It's better if Widya goes berserk as usual than to be this cold to her. Because his behavior that keeps this distance makes Radit's mood also grim.

Why would he have to vent his anger on Radit? They came home early this day not because Radit wanted them. This was all at his father's request, so that he would return to Manju Village immediately, because there were things that his father wanted to help him. He still does not know what it is, because his father wanted to say it directly to him and Widya after they arrived.

Unfortunately, his childish wife even sulked at him. Just look later if they have arrived at the house and there is a father waiting there, surely the mask of happiness will be plastered again on his grim face. In fact, when Radit said this directly to her, she remained silent and did not respond. It was like talking to a big rock.

Upon their arrival in their yard, Widya quickly opened the car door - when their car engine was not dead - and then slid out, like a man burning fire. Radit's patience is over with this annoying behavior.

Sliding out of the driver's seat, Radit quickly catches Widya's arm, who is about to retrieve the house key from her handbag. Unhappy with the intrusion, Widya violently denies Radit's hand and goes back to look for the house keys stored in her bag. When he finds the key to the house, Radit quickly snatches the key from his hand.

"What are you doing? Give me the key back!" he exclaimed Widya, jumping up and down to reach the key that Radit lifted in his hand. "Stop bothering me! Just take care of our stuff in the trunk of the car."

"Now it's your turn. I'm tired of giving up on you, this time you have to."

"Why should I give up?"

"Because you have to!" furious with Radit, Widya's gaze returned equally sharp. "If you want to go berserk and vent your anger, tell my father. Because he's the one who made us go home fast, not me. You're pointing it at the wrong person."

"If you're enough, why should I take it out on your father too?" sahut Widya, smiling cynically.

"Stop being childish, Widya!"

"Stop being a grown-up, Radit!"

"Basst thou a venomous mouth!"

"Basically you're a stale mouth!"

"Not giving up!"

"Not to be wrong!"

"Holder!"

"Wagging!"

Without being able to hold him back, Radit smiled amusedly at their ridiculous debate. And, not only did she feel that way, the corner of Widya's lips twitched as well, trying hard not to smile as well. Then the two of them both burst out laughing so much that they surprised someone who was passing in front of their house.

Like a passing wind blowing, the cold war between the two of them was soon over. Together they returned to the trunk of the car to retrieve their belongings that were there.

Just as the clock was about to show at 2pm, there was a knock on Radit's door. Walking side by side with Widya, Radit opened the door for her father. After letting her in, Widya went back inside to prepare a drink.

"No need to bother, Wid!" he shouted, stopping Widya before going further. "Bad just for a minute. After this you will go somewhere."

According to the request, Widya approached Radit to sit next to him.

"Where are you going?" ask Radit curiously.

"Previously you want to apologize to you...."

"No need to apologize, Dad, we're not angry anyway" Widya said, not feeling good to hear Mr. Benny apologise.

Radit, who was sitting next to her, gave a mocking look at Widya, then turned back to Mr. Benny and said the same thing as Widya.

"Also you are not feeling well, just accept your apology, Mr. Benny, said, forcing them to accept his apology. "Actually you mean to go home quickly, because this is very urgent and can not be postponed again. You want to ask both of you for help, if you don't mind."

"Of course we don't mind" Radit and Widya replied simultaneously.

"Say, sir, we'll help as long as we can" Radit said, not wanting his father to ask him for help."

"To be honest, this is not a difficult thing to do. At first I intended to ask Grandma Aya for help, but since she was not in place, I had no choice but to ask both of you for help" Mr. Benny told me, glanced at Radit for a moment, then resumed, "Father just wanted to leave Ririn a moment for you. Maybe 2 or 3 days, don't you mind?"

"Oh that's all. Of course we don't mind, sir," Radit replied casually. "The father can leave it to us, however long you want. Yeah, right, Wid?"

"Radit's right, I don't have to feel bad about leaving it to us," Widya agreed, smiling gently at Mr. Benny. "We're just happy that Ririn is here with us. At least it's better for him to stay here with us than to live alone in his house."

"Father just doesn't feel good about you guys, because it's been interfering with your new marriage."

"Our marriage is not important for now, it is important that you can go quietly without thinking about Ririn" said Radit, unhappy with his father's condolences. "Father go take care of your business out there, Ririn is safe with us."

"Thank God, then you can be relieved to leave Ririn while here. You take it easy, he won't bother you too much. Maybe he'll stop by here when it's dusk, well you know for yourself how Ririn is, Dit. The boy was very happy to wander here and there, but soon he wanted a test."

After sharing his complaints with his son and son-in-law, Mr. Benny then changed the topic of conversation. He starts asking about Radit and Widya's journey in town. Glancing at a glance at his watch, Mr. Benny also resigned to leave. Not wanting Mr. Benny to leave empty-handed, Widya gave a small parcel of pastry she had made with her mother while in town.

"Wine! We have to hurry before Ririn comes" Widya said, looking back and forth for something to transport first in her room. "Do we have to transport my dressing room first?"

"It doesn't seem like a good idea" Radit replied, thinking hard as he circled his gaze observing the objects in Widya's room. "We'll take it lighter first."

"Don't just talk about it, let's quickly help me bring all the clothes in my closet," Widya scolded, throwing all her clothes on the bed. "Think while you work! Ririn's coming for the hunt."

"Eatya sleep one room with me dong, so we do not have to bother like this," Radit replied, nagging back while scooping all the clothes thrown by Widya.

"Where do I know that one day Ririn will be staying with us" Widya said, throwing an annoyed look.

"The debate is quite up here, it's time to work."

Widya was very sorry to do the action of moving her belongings so rushed. What her father-in-law said was indeed true, Ririn did indeed like to wander off somewhere. Even the sky outside was already dark, but the wayward child had yet to show his nose in this house. Where did the bad boy go? Even more ridiculous, Radit just sat quietly on the sofa while watching cheerfully, looking not worried at all with the whereabouts of his sister.

Blocking her husband's view from watching television, Widya ruffled her waist in front of Radit in annoyance. Her husband simply raised his eyebrows while putting on a questioning look.

"We have to find him!" tell Widya with a commanding tone.

"Who are you looking for?"

"Of course, looking for your sister, who else? My grandma?" widya replied impatiently.

"Just take it easy, Wid. No need to be so fiery," said Radit, astonished to see Widya running out of patience with him. "You don't have to worry, that chatty kid can find his own way home."

"How did you get this cute? Aren't you worried that something bad is going to happen to him out there?" widya asked, not trusting Radit's indifference towards his own sister. "What if there's a bad guy out there hurting her? Just imagining it makes my hair goosebumps."

"It is precisely what I fear the wicked man from Ririn," joked Radit, chuckling at the thought of the incident in his head. "You don't know, that brat can act really horrible when something bothers him."

"You can joke like that! That's not funny at all, Dit. However Ririn is a girl."

"Yes, yes I admit to being wrong" Radit said in surrender, raising both his hands in surrender. "Trust me, he'll be home soon. If in half an hour he hasn't shown up yet, we'll both go find him together. What if we both talk about us now?"

Poking out his hand, Radit pulled Widya into his lap. Tightening her grip around Widya's waist, she brought the two of them closer together until they touched each other so intimately. The back of her hand stroked the cheekbones of Widya's face slowly.

"You still haven't explained to me what you said last night. Since we're still two, how about you explain it now, hmm?"

"Without me even having to explain, you must understand what I mean. Don't pretend to be stupid, Radit!" Widya pinched Radit's arm lightly.

"What if I don't understand, instead of pretending to be stupid?" goda Radit, showing the look as smooth as possible.

"Your innocent looks can't lie to me at all", Widya said, not fooled in the least. "I think I heard footsteps outside. Did you hear that too? Looks like that brat's already home."

Nimble Widya released herself from Radit's tight embrace, then went to the living room. Before he could reach the doorknob, Radit suddenly caught him from behind.

"You're so embarrassed, you look so adorable" hugged Radit from behind. "Don't reason to hear nothing, just tell me you want to run away from me again."

Once again Widya released herself from Radit's embrace and turned to face him.

"I didn't lie, I did listen to the sound of footsteps out there," elak Widya, furrowing her brows irritatedly.

"It's just your illusion" Radit said, re-embracing Widya into his arms. "Seeing you mad like this makes me want to kiss you."

As if to prove his words, Radit kissed Widya's entire face.

"Take care of your attitude, Dit! What if Ririn sees us like this?" widya warned half-heartedly, laughing amusedly as Radit kissed her back. "Radit, stop!"

No use, Radit kissed his lips warmly. Then the sound of BRAKK shocked the two of them.

"Yuhuu I'm coming!" exclaiming Ririn merrily.

Pushing Radit's body to the side, Widya pura hit the air around him, as if catching a mosquito roaming around. Controlling the look on his face, Widya welcomes the arrival of Ririn as relaxed as he can afford.

"You're home yet? Since then we were both waiting for you," Widya said, smiling awkwardly. "Why stay there? Come on in here!"

"I smell something suspicious in here" Ririn questioned, ignoring her request.

Ririn's eyes were now fixed on Radit who was posing casually on the sofa while waving at him. Although the pose lying on the sofa looks normal, but anyone can see that Radit is uncomfortable there. His face looked like one who was enduring pain. No wonder, considering that Widya had pushed her body so strongly towards the sofa.

Oh, my God, this is embarrassing!
